The family is very happy that we found Windcrest at Regents Point in Irvine. Windcrest is managed very well. The facility is clean and the food is good. The professional care, frequent communication and obvious concern of the staff was a vast improvement over our previous experience at another facility. Not only the therapists, but also the attendants encourage the patient to keep a positive attitude and to try more physical activity. The team (including physical therapy, nursing, nutrition, and administration) held a meeting with the family to share their assessments and to keep us involved. When they say they are going to come they show up no issues. They show great concern, are available for questions by text and have aided in the recovery of my husband not getting an infection and in care of my mother with multiple health issues and falls. My mother is 91 and also has bath aide with Yolanda, this has been a huge help to me to have this assistance twice a week and has take some weight off my shoulders. She is so very kind and patient with my mother which is beyond wonderful. We have had Stan for PT for both my husband after surgery and my mom after falls and he is OUTSTANDING, compassionate and keeps my mom laughing which helps her spirit. If we need PT we always request Stan! My reason for only giving 3 instead of 5 is NOT the Nurses, Aides or PT it is SUPPLIES - they take months and I have to purchase supplies out of my own pocket then the supplies show up 2-3 months after ordered and WRONG things come, not even what was ordered. For example my husband had foot surgery and supplies were ordered by Jill, followed up at least 5 times and finally THREE MONTHS later they show up and there are multiple things never ordered in the box. In the meantime to avoid an infection I had to purchase supplies. Our recent order for a fall for my mom Jill placed an order on 07/10 and today is 07/22 - NOTHING - multiple follow ups by Jill and Maryann and still nothing. I am not sure why it takes so long for the supplies that are urgently needed for treatment to stop infections. If it is the company Bryam then SWITCH - but this has been an issue for over a year and is very concerning. I have spent hundreds of dollars purchasing supplies that either show up months later or never show up at all. My insurance is being billed for these supplies, but they show up LATE, if treatment was held off waiting on these supplies my husband could have lost his foot from infection. Bryam has a 1.1 rating which should tell you all you need to know about this company.

As the parent of a child with special needs, I have to constantly navigate between setting up…read moreenough therapy for my daughter such that she gains as many skills as she can for life but not too push her so hard that she can't still be a child. I've never met a therapist that walks this line with such grace as Audrey. Audrey is demanding (knows exactly how far to push my daughter) but equally playful and light-hearted and allows my daughter space to give her a sense of independence. This is partly because her patience knows no bounds. You will immediately see this if you observe Audrey in a session. Her patience combined with her tenacity makes her tremendously effective. My daughter has a genetic syndrome that includes global developmental delay (including delayed fine motor skills, dyspraxia, speech apraxia, reduced body awareness, low attention, hyperactivity). My daughter has consistently improved with Audrey in the past year and a half. When my daughter started with Audrey, she was a hyperactive little bee buzzing around. Now, my daughter patiently sits awaiting the next activity or reward (swings, scooter, cuddles, etc). In addition to all the skills my daughter has gained, my daughter now also will try during an activity that isn't easy for her instead of immediately trying to escape. Things that Audrey has taught my daughter to do include: improving her body awareness and coordination (now she can climb more safely and independently on all sorts of playgrounds at the park!), learning how to problem-solve when confronted with a challenging or new task, being more independent with daily self-care routines, such as taking off and putting on clothes (she used to get so frustrated while dressing, but is able to do this all by herself now!), brushing her teeth, washing her body, using buttons and zippers, washing her hands, and figuring out how to regulate and organize her body using sensory techniques. It is without a doubt that my daughter has come long ways in her therapy, as you can see a drastic change in her determination, cooperation, attention, emotions, and mostly, confidence!

As a therapist in the field of special education, it is always tremendously helpful to collaborate with team members when treating a client, regardless of the diagnosis. Audrey has been a wealth of knowledge and help on a variety of children we've co-treated, which, in turn, helped in my speech therapy sessions with the child's self-regulation, sensory integration, and motor planning. I HIGHLY recommend Audrey's expertise in Feeding Therapy, sensory processing/ integration (few OTs have good skills in this area in my humble opinion), as well as with the motor planning aspect of functioning. I worked mostly with Brendan, Daniel, Emma, and Brian. They are all extremely intelligent, caring, supportive, energetic, and patient with me, as I was late for numerous sessions, embarrassingly. Don't let me forget the WONDERFUL gals at the front, Jacky and Karen, who shared the same traits as the rest of the team. The facility itself is kept spotless, sanitized, and well-kept. They have lots of great equipment and something I really liked was that they don't "overbook." There were never more than about 4-5 patients in there at once, so it was never noisy, crowded, etc., which allows you to focus on your therapist and training. All in all, Maxum Therapy deserves outstanding citizen awards and is a shining GEM in the OC community. I cannot wait until I need PT again so I can return to my Maxum family. :)

The sales lady was called by my son he was told they don't have time for laundry. I had one load we had signed for 4 hrs service (200usd). Yet contract said they do. Paperwork had names completely misspelt very sloppy. I have not been asked by the sales people how I like the service they have a 2600 USD deposit.
