Insulation Northwest did a fantastic job installing insulation in my 1944 house recently. We did Drill & Fill to my ground floor exterior walls that had never been insulated, plus a complete insulation job on the second floor, in the attics and the interior walls. They were super-careful cutting and drilling my old cedar shakes, also replaced them all in great condition, caulking them afterwards. They looked out for plants that I couldn't remove from the walls outside. They also took care with my old lath and plaster interior walls such that there's not a single even hairline crack or any trace on the inside that the work had been done. Upstairs, they cleaned out the attics (a huge job in itself), then installed battens on the interior walls and blew in new fiberglass on the attic floors. They also installed roof vents and hooked up a bathroom fan that had never in 80 years been vented to the outside. They managed the current energy rebates available from Puget Sound Energy such that this project was not only top-quality but also great value. Much appreciated! I recently had the pleasure to have Insulation NW perform their services at my house in Stanwood, Wa. I am always reluctant to hire companies because most will give you a song and a dance that tickles your ear. Keith w/ Insulation NW made an appointment with me and he came out and gave me an estimate right there. He got me on the schedule for the following week. We had our attic space over the garage insulated by Insulation NW; they did a great job! Tim, our salesman was kind, answered all our questions honestly about our concerns. The old cedar shake roof had been replaced by a whole new roof two years ago, leaving the old insulation damp and covered in a mess of cedar shake remains. They covered the floor so it wouldn't leave a mess, both in the garage and up in the attic space. Took down the old mess, bagged it all and did a great clean up job. The new insulation was installed and covered by a white sheeting material, looks great! There were so many angles due to our pitched roof. The estimator was great, he listened to my concerns and offered options that suited my needs. The workers were respectful and got to work right away. I had insulation installed under my floor in the crawl space, a ground cover installed, ducts sealed, and the garage ducts wrapped. I was very happy with the insulation results, I no longer feel a difference in air temperature between rooms. I was not thrilled with the ground cover nor the garage ducts wrap, these jobs seemed rushed. The ground cover had multiple holes and was not put down with a function or pleasing aesthetic in mind. The garage ducts wrap is definitely helping with the loss of heat, but it looks clumsy with white tape all over the place. Overall I'm satisfied. I just think parts of the job were rushed. read more

Insulation NW did an excellent job of removing old inadequate insulation from an attic and crawlspace and replacing it with new insulation and wrapping the ductwork. They had two crews, one for the attic and one for the crawlspace, working for many hours to complete the job. A vapor barrier was also installed in the crawlspace. This was almost a month long process, they contacted me only when I was willing, and when some new discounts arouse. Because of their upfront communication I selected them. They got here on time and took their time getting the attic prepped to seal all pockets where air was coming in before they sprayed the insulation in the attic.
