Today, Steinberg calls and said they have not gotten the pre-authorization from my urologist office for this test. They claim that they do not do insurance pre-authorization for testing that required the doctors office that refers you to them to get it. I talked to my urologist office. They send it in the day. I had my appointment last month and then send it again today. However, a supervisor at Steinberg claims they never received it and they simply canceled my appointment. I have told my urologist I no longer trust Steinberg Diagnostic to do my testing. I prefer to go back to Desert radiology I have always had a good experience with him. I will never ever ever use Steinberg again nor should you.

I arrived with my paperwork, checked in, and within a few minutes my fun afternoon started. First up was the Ultrasound, performed by Melissa. She explained all she would be doing, with a smile, asking me if I had any questions. It took 2 times to get it completed, but all was done. Then she walked me over to the next area for my bone density test, to be done by Tia. Tia was just as friendly as Melissa. She was smiling as well as she explained the procedure, asking if I was comfortable. When we were done, she took me over to the other are for the 2 MRI's I was scheduled for. Jackie called me from the waiting area and took me back, verifying all of my info before we started. She then gave me headphones with jazz music playing, which made the whole experience acceptable ! As I was leaving, I stopped at the desk to make sure they didn't need anything else from me. They didn't but THEY asked if I NEEDED anything , i.e, help to my car, a bottled water, or to call someone to come pick me up ! Such incredible, thoughtful care of their patients !!! I know I had been there for several hours, but I truly felt the care they have for their patients/. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing imaging care, and I would give them 1000 stars if I could!!!!! Kudos to all of you !!!!!!!!
