Appointment at 10am, I arrived at 945. Was told when I made the appointment I would be in my car by 11:15. It's 11:14 and I am still in the waiting room. They don't tell you ahead of time what to wear or not to wear nor do they tell you to fill out the 15 minutes of paperwork ahead of time. The changing areas are dirty and the bathroom has urine stains on the toilets. It's the blind leading the deaf in this place. Go elsewhere, this isn't the only radiation place in town. read more

I phoned to see if they had an appointment and they told me to come on in they weren't busy at all! I dropped everything and went . Walked in and stood in front of the reception area where it says sign in. There was a gentleman sitting there so I waited. When I had made eye contact with reception I took a seat sure that she would help me asap! I sat there for 40 min without a hello a sign in nothing! I finally walked up to window and asked if I should sign in she completely ignored me? Then I asked if she was going to acknowledge me and she said she would get to me. I was alone except the one man and I saw three receptionists! Finally I was sent to the first window to a girl who was clearly training! No problem I gave her my insurance card id and signed the paperwork. Then she told me she was going to wait to see what my copay was..... I texted my insurance company and asked them to text me when they knew what my copay was...... 2 hours later they still haven't said a word to me but I had received the text from my insurance company 11/2 hours earlier! I was being punished for asking if the were going to acknowledge me! The good news is there are many places to get X-rays and all my mri's are coming up and they will get no bussiness from myself of any family members! Choices! Customer service matters! read more

I'm trying to book an appointment for my disabled veteran father & have had the run around from this business at the smoke ranch location. This appointment is something the VA has referred us to an outside location to get done. It was also suggested that I tell the referring doctor to do a different procedure rather than the one the doctor ordered (MRI) by the girl answering the phone instead of trying to book an appointment for us. Her suggestion was a CT SCAN. My father has had both procedures done before but currently the doctor wants an MRI. Mind you the doctor has already done several CT SCANS on my father but wants an MRI done this round. I did tell her she can feel free to make her suggestion to the doctor herself since she's literally only the person taking appointments & not a doctor. It's absolutely rude to tell patients they need a different procedure done other than what their referral is asking for especially if you're not a doctor. It is not the patients job to tell a licensed doctor how to do his job. Just book the appointment we need ma'am. I did call back since they needed info on my father's stent card. The person I got to speak to this round (Crystal) said they would email me so I could send them a copy of the stent card but got no email from them (an hour plus later). After waiting over an hour for said email I called back again & got sent to voicemail for the person (Crystal) who said she would email me. Mind you this was well before it could be considered lunch break time. The vibes have been: Tell me you don't want to work on a without telling me you don't want to work... ‍ I left a voicemail saying I didn't get the email & I'm frustrated with how trying to book an appointment has been horrible. I hope the owner of the business see's these reviews because I noticed I'm not the only one with issues with this business. They also won't provide an itemized receipt upon payment and the charge an extra 3% for payment by credit card which I had to do because they wouldn't accept my insurance. read more

I went to 7500 Smoke Ranch on my second attempt and was brought into a white semi truck trailer that had a temporary machine we're a beautiful angel was running this controls with the spirit of God help me through and I completed it it was only because of God and her that I was able to do it 20 Stars out of 10 I give the technician that was working there . read more

I had some testing done on 9/29/25 & had an incident w my back after getting up from the table/bed. I failed to get their names, but two of the staff members jumped up fast to help me in a professional manner. I made it home safely & just wanted them to know how appreciative I was of how I was treated. Also the check in process & that staff were also great. read more

They gave me a lazy garbage incomplete report for my scan and when I asked for a proper one with actual information that was supposed to be on there, they made it my responsibility to have a doctor reach out and request it. I had an appointment for an MRI today, Aug 24th at the Maryland Pkwy facility. I had a bit of a wait, but no biggie since the receptionist was so nice, fun & easy to talk to and they had HGTV on the Ha Ha. The young Lady who did the exam was also very nice, very professional and clear in all the instructions. Made it a comfortable exam. I was also glad they were open on a Sunday & found out they have late hours as well. Makes it easy for those who work. Thank you Ladies. read more

I recently had an appointment at Las Vegas Radiology and I was blown away by how smoothly everything went. My appointment was at 4:45pm but they suggested that I come in at 4:15 so that I would have enough time to check in and do any necessary paperwork. I came in at around 4:20. They weren't busy. There were only 2 people waiting in the lobby. I was promptly seen and was finished by 4:36! 9 minutes before my scheduled time. That was crazy fast. It seemed that afternoon is the best time to schedule an appointment. The technician who performed my X-ray was very friendly. The receptionists, not so much. None of them greeted me or acknowledged my presence. Hopefully, in the future, they provide a more welcoming and friendly experience for patients. read more

Received a referral just after noon today and was able to call and make an appointment the same day. The long hours through M-F are very helpful for people who work all day. They are open from 7:30 to 11:00PM and Sat 8AM to 5PM. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful with filling out all the necessary paperwork. There is a coffee machine and restroom in the lobby with a flat screen showing movies. Beverly Hills Cop was playing! A classic movie. There are plenty of chairs in the waiting room and local VEGAS skyline pics. I arrived early and was even called back early for my MRI. The whole process took about 30 minutes. And the machine operator was patient and helpful during the procedure. Pretty sure I fell asleep during the MRI while listening to the 90's genre music playing on the headphones. Before I knew it I was being helped off the table and on my way out the door. Thanks Las Vegas Radiology for a smooth appointment, highly recommended. read more

Facilty: very small rooms and not well kept. Imaging Machines: very old, ancient and out dated, images produced is not high quality. I am not sure if their modalities is still at par with ACR(American College of Radiology) quality. Office/Clinic Ambience: gloomy, very dark, not cheerful staff. The air smells like Indian food(I guess their ventilation is poor). Old furniture as well. Check for the qualification and the background of the Radiologists and technologists before you set up for an appointment with this facility. Better yet find a better alternative imaging facility who has better Consumer Report and yelp reviews. You have been warned from my previous experience. Proceed at your own risks. read more

I was really encouraged by my first call to this location of Las Vegas Radiology because the first person I spoke to was really nice. She took her time explaining the services offered and different options. Unfortunately, her efforts were wasted by the incompetence of the rest of the staff here. I had my doctor's office fax over the procedure order and following that was referred over to scheduling. Scheduling claimed that my insurance could take 2-3 weeks just to approve the procedure, and because of this, they would not schedule me until they received approval. (Knowing my insurance, this part might well be true.) I followed-up with scheduling after 1 week. Mostly I wanted to make sure I wasn't lost in the system but they were pretty rude/harried and told me I just had to wait. After another week and a half of not hearing back, I called in again. Now they claim I'm not even in their system and they never received any order for me. So I have to start this over from scratch. So 2.5 weeks now these guys have wasted my time and I've got nothing. Thanks a lot. Actually no thanks, I'll definitely go somewhere else because there's no way I can trust anyone who handles patients like this. read more

The Las Vegas radiology department is located inside of a nice big building where the urology clinic is located as well. The front desk staff were extremely sweet and helpful. Check in was an easy process and the waiting room chairs were comfortable. They also are spacing the chairs out for covid purposes. There is a television in the waiting area for entertainment purposes and they have the Las Vegas news on which is a good choice to keep up on the latest articles. The LACK of cleanliness was appalling. I was due for a intra-vaginal pelvic ultrasound to check fibroid status and the room was SO filthy I was concerned with exposing myself at all in that environment. I arrived early for my appt to fill out paperwork as instructed, they said come 30 min early, the paperwork took less than 60 seconds. I paid out of pocket but they did not want to give me an itemized receipt. They finally call me for my ultrasound (45 min past the appt time) then sat another 40 min in the room with the technician who says she's not used to that machine and it took her forever to figure it out. I was actually walking her through the tech side of it. I finally said that I needed to leave and also mentioned how concerning the filth of the room was. She finally figured it out, I had paid and was there, so I continued. I had to tell her to change her gloves after touching all kinds of things around the filthy room. Afterwards, I was so put off by the experience and filth, I asked to speak to the managing Dr who really did nothing but say that she takes cleanliness very seriously...but I will add that her office was also dirty, the floors throughout were abhorrent and she herself was unkempt. I should honestly report this facility to the health board. It was GROSS. After leaving, I needed that itemized receipt. The woman that I spoke with in billing was very kind and helpful and ended up sending it to me which justifies the 1 star. I will be paying a bit more to go elsewhere next time. read more

I have never had a more friendly experience from any medical Front Desk Receptionist including my own PCP. It's difficult enough here in Las Vegas to find good healthcare so when you do you want to share your experiences. I want to Thank Tammy from the moment I walked in until I left, my visit was amazing! Tammy admitted me into the system for my MRI she was friendly, kind, personable, engaging, and a lot of fun!! The care she showed for her patients was amazing!! She is definitely the reason I will return and encourage others to go here. I can't forget Julian the MRI Tech. he too was incredibly kind and made me feel comfortable explained the procedure and told me how long it would take. Or it would be no stars However trying to get anyone to answer the phones or call you back seems to be a no go with the medical field in this town. Took me over a week to get someone to answer the phone and that was after calling 12 times that day. Now I was informed I have to return for my chest x-ray after I was told I could leave. It seemed to be overlooked on my work order. Now my surgery is pushed back again because this office can't seem to get thier act together. So do yourself a favor since the office is open until 11pm go in and talk to someone in person to set the appointment and double check the work order before you leave. I get people are human and make mistakes. But it seems to happen a hell of a lot with all the medical offices- its really frustrating people not doing thier jobs !!!! read more

It's amazes me how the patient must be here 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment, yet they can call the patient 45 minutes past the appointment time. Thats a huge disrespect of the patients valued time. If a patient is 45 minutes late they get marked as a no-show and they may get a fine! Secondly, while waiting w/my family the receptionist called several offices advising "Hi! This is Jennifer calling from LV radiology. We have a patient "states the full name" with a date of birth of "and states full date of birth" is scheduled for Liver biopsy on "states date". She also blabbed the patients lab results. She needed new referrals foe the patients. I am not referring to an appointment reminder, I am talking about a full discussion about a patient, who needs a "biopsy to rule out cancer"... and the statement of "yes, its sad she is so young" We wont even mention the 80'ish year old patient who needed help filling out a health history form, so the other receptionist helped him by reading all the questions out loud about his prostate issues, surgeries & cancer are now known to the 12 people in the waiting room. What the hell just happened to patient privacy??? This went on for 1.5 hours! I had a stress test scheduled for 9:30 about two weeks ago. I was told to arrive by 9:00, which I did. I was called back at 9:15 and the awesome nurse had everything ready by 9:30. She said we had to wait for the doctor before we could start. Almost 50 minutes later the doctor finally walks in the door. Let me clarify, she arrived to work at 10:20. So I had to wait for her ignorant self before I could complete my test. They have a sign that states if you are late or miss your appointment they can charge you $50. Well this doctor owes me $50. I tried to contact the facility via their website, but they have not reached back to me. I wanted to light this doctor up for her rudeness and lack of care for my time and the nurses time. I had a quick, friendly and simple visit. I went for a mammogram for preventative maintenance. They are generous in providing FREE mammograms for the entire month of October! I figured since I turned 40 this year I should go as it is suggested and a smart decision as early detection can save lives! I had a good experience, I was in and out in 45 minutes at most. The procedure itself is not the most pleasant considering my breast being smashed like a pancake by a machine. They are always awesome here. Each employee introduces themselves, then explains their part in what will be happening that day, and the part they will play. It is fast, clean, and everyone is always willing to chat personally while the patients wait. The woman next to me wanted to tell them ALL about her every issue, although they were busy they listened, sympathized, then got her moving. Very sweet. The parking lot isn't full, and it's clean. Staff is helpful and friendly, wait time can be annoying but not overly long in my experience. They have an online check-in system which is great IMO. What I don't like is that they lie to you about your appointment time. They will give you a time that is 30 mins earlier than you appointment time even if you question it. If you check in online ignore what time they tell you and show up 15-20 minutes later. I highly object to any medical facility or doctors office managing my time like this. I don't like to be lied to or misled. I almost always show up early for my appointments and I don't think I should be penalized because others don't. I had to come here for an ultrasound(no I am not female nor am I pregnant - LOL) and a couple of MRI's on a Saturday afternoon. I had already been able to come and get paperwork so that helped out a lot in saving time and not being in the lobby for too long. I believe her name is Raylynn(very nice lady) who did the ultrasound and was absolutely professional making sure that she had gloves on and just doing her job and while not the most talkative person out there, knew what to do and made sure I was okay with the procedure. Waiting for the MRI with another person in front me, I was given the remote and told to watch tv while relaxing in a large chair. Being able to change and it is nice that they have lockers to put your stuff in especially any metal you have on you and then Tracie brings you in to the room and explains everything that is going to happen. Pillows for your head, for your legs, a blanket to keep you warm and headphones if you like. I was able to choose acoustic guitar with lapping waves which helped me focus on not listening to the sounds the machine makes which can be loud and a bit surprising if you are not ready for it. She makes everything comfortable and talks to you throughout. I would go there again if need be and get the same people. A class act all the way. read more

I was in need of more imaging due to a car accident. I've been to Las Vegas Radiology numerous times. I've always had wonderful care. Yesterday I had an appointment at the Smoke Ranch location where I received the most compassionate care by team member CARRIE. I was extremely nervous for this test and my anxiety was sky high. I even needed a Valium. Carrie was so calming, caring, patient, and understanding. She walked me through the entire procedure from beginning to end. The doctor and Carrie worked wonderfully together. My husband was also here for the exact same procedure same day. He was nervous too and told me Carrie took great care of him as well. Thank you CARRIE for going above and beyond for your patients. I hope you never have to get an MRI here. My first attempt, they were over an hour behind so I decided to reschedule after waiting over an hour. I'm currently making my second attempt and I was told they are 45 min behind. Well, we are at 1hr 10min after my appointment time and I am still waiting. I have to come back tomorrow and get a second MRI because they only schedule two areas at a time. If possible, avoid this place for an MRI. They can have 1 star because I got X-rays here and that was handled quick and efficiently. read more

Each staff member I talked to were friendly and gave easy-to-follow instructions for pre-procedure and during the procedure, whether it be over the phone or in person. Unfortunately I can't remember her name, but I had a very nice tech assisting me and walking me through everything she was doing and what would be done to me during my time there. She constantly checked in to see if I was okay and comfortable, and made the experience much less intimidating. Afterwards, I was waiting in the lobby for my ride and the staff checked on me again, and assured me that I could stay in their lobby with no worries.
