I've been attending Royal City for nearly 2 years now, and I'll never again look to a commercial gym for wellness. Let's be fair, when you first walk in it can feel a little intimidating. The music is playing and there are probably some people sweating throwing some dumbbells overhead. You'll also be greeted by some friendly members, and welcoming staff. Everything you see happening on the floor can be scaled to your abilities, and like me, you can start right at the bottom. You bring your own mat but if you don't you can rent for $2. It is a small space so make sure to come early. I took the flow movement class which was relaxing and helped me stretch out some aches from a fall I've had. The teacher, and owner, is friendly and well versed in this skill. It is also in the heart of downtown making it a perfect after work stop or during lunch! Despite the fact that I do not enjoy yoga, I will definitely be coming back!

Her self confidence has gone through the roof. The instructors are great and all the kids seem to adore them. Once a month a kids party is hosted at the gym and our daughter hasn't missed a single one. As a father of two small girls, it helps me sleep a little better at night knowing that when they finally leave home they will have acquired the necessary skills to properly defend themselves if the need were to arise.
