When we complained after one week and again after 10 days, we were told (never told this upfront) that they do not guarantee their treatment and were offered a "reduced rate" for a re-treatment!. At one house I had squirrels in my attic and while the previous owner had another company block most of the entry points they missed some and Ryan solved the problem and installed a one way door so the squirrels could not get back in once they left. The previous owner used poison and that left a few dead carcasses in the attic. As import as being good is, just as import is being honest. Ryan will only recommend and do what is needed. If there is another trade like a roofer that can fix a problem better than him, he will recommend that - this is being honest and recommending to customers what is best for them. I initally requested help with a squirrel problem in our atttic. This took about 7 or 8 visits by Hassan to repair/close entry points in our roof, set traps to catch the squirrels, and then several follow-up visits to inspect the attic to make sure squirrels had not returned. During the intial visit and survey of the roof and attic, Hassan pointed out some other issues he noticed: 1) there were several bee nests in the attic ---so I hired Hassan to remove the bee nests. 2) the gutters were full of debris from recent windstorms --- so I hired Hassan to clean the gutters. 3) one of the down pipes attached to the gutter was detached and bent --- so Hassan fixed that. 4) one of the soffits was hanging down a bit so Hassan fixed that. Thankfully, I was referred to Zafar from ASM Pest Control. He gave me 110% assurance that he will get rid of them. I was worried that I would have to get rid of my furniture. Especially as I had purchased a brand new Queen mattress - this would not have been financially feasible. Zafar assured me I did not get rid of my furniture. Zafir was super friendly and non judgemental and so helpful. It ended up just being an annoying flee of some kind. I didn't use his service because my landlord wanted to do it himself, but if I was the home owner I would have had Zafir do it. Despite only charging me for an inspection, he was so nice and checked back with me to see how things were a couple days later. He even offered if I saw anything, he would come back for 10 minutes to give me advice free of charge which I thought was going above and beyond.

Once again he threw some bags and left again. Well, here we are 3 months later and having our floors replaced. We moved furniture etc and the basement is LOADED with mouse droppings, not anywhere near where he threw the poison. I have used exterminators in the past and have never seen this kind of service. No traps, no investigation, nothing. Avoid this guy, there are better options.

Terminix attitude was throw down some fruit fly traps and throw a little foam into the kitchen Plumbing and we're good. Never happened. They would either not show up. Show up with out any remediation products saying that's not what they were told to do they were just supposed to come and look and see what the problem was. This despite many numerous previous trips for this issue. They just saw the contract and did the barest minimum. One day they even said that they had arrived and left because no one was home. I was at home. The manager's office was open. I guess they forgot we have video of the front entrance and when we ran it guess who we didn't see? Now after having tried or Ortho 4 years ago with the same problem we have come to the realization that these companies actually don't train their employers or hire people with absolute knowledge about pests and Pest Control. It's just here's the problem. Check this on the list of things to try. And if nothing works, shrug and suggest we try another company. I can't believe for the life of me that after 7 months an extermination company the size of Terminix can't get rid of black-eyed fruit flies. We're done with them. Unless you know exactly what your problem is and you know how to fix it don't ask Terminix to fix it for you. Some of the worst service from a company I've experienced in years.
