I can't say enough about Dr. O, Victoria and the Patricia's! I recently cracked 20-year-old crowns and had the four front replaced. The entire experience was extremely positive. Dr Carey O'Rielly is not a "real" holistic dentist. His other reviews are fake. He cuts corners and was paid to remove all of the amalgam from my mouth but did such shoddy work that he missed getting it all. Several of my teeth need to be redone now. When I contacted his office, they took no accountability and told me don't call here anymore! I would give zero stars if I could. read more

I had a cleaning and exam done at a traditional dentist 2 weeks prior to my visit with Dr. O'Rielly. The other dentist had suggested five(!!) cavity fillings and had also shamed me for using fluoride free toothpaste. I wanted a second opinion and started searching for holistic dentists. In the last few years I've made lifestyle changes to eat cleaner and use cleaner products, and I wanted to find a dentist who believed in the importance of holistic health and nontoxic alternatives (when possible) such as BPA-free fillings. I came across Dr. O'Rielly's website and his helpful blog posts on oral health and overall wellness. I emailed the office and Sherry and Victoria were quick to respond and very patient working with my busy schedule to give me an appointment within a week or two. I emailed them my x-rays from the other dentist and not only did they say I didn't need to take more x-rays with them, but Dr. O'Rielly looked at the x-rays prior to my appointment and they let me know that he saw only one cavity that needed to be filled right away! They scheduled me for an exam and filling on the same day which was very convenient. When I went in for my appointment, Dr. O'Rielly took his time answering my questions and didn't make me feel rushed at all. The filling was literally painless (mind you I have very sensitive teeth) and he was so skilled in the way he administered the numbing shot and also in doing the filling procedure. I love that he talked through the procedure explaining what he was doing and checked in with me constantly to make sure I was doing okay. The dental hygienist was also very sweet and friendly. Dr. O'Rielly gave me some helpful tips and tools on how to prevent cavities naturally (without the need for fluoride toothpaste). I like that he is conservative and isn't quick to do fillings or unnecessary procedures if they're not needed! The office was also very clean and relaxing, and everyone there is so kind and caring. I felt like they truly cared about my health and wellness. I 10000% recommend this dental office if you are looking for a skilled and caring holistic dentist. I didn't even know this approach to dentistry existed. I love this office. Dr O, and the staff are knowledgeable and informative without being the slightest bit pushy. I first visited Dr. O'Rielly on 2/14/22 for a consultation. My mouth felt perfectly fine when I walked in that day. I never saw the hygienist open the packs of tools. She fiddled with them on the back counter and then dropped them on the tray as she walked out of the room. For some reason, Dr. O'Rielly did a gum exam on me, even though I was just in for a consultation. It's the gum exam where they poke your gums with their metal instruments to check for gum recession. The next morning, my gums felt very sensitive. I've had this same gum exam from my regular dentist several times without an issue. It persisted and continued to get worse. I finally emailed Dr. O'Rielly about it on 3/1/22. Dr. O and Victoria scheduled me for an appointment for 3/6/22. He said he would laser my gums to make them feel better. At the beginning of my appointment, he started going on about how well they sterilize their instruments, even though I never said anything about that. It seemed odd. He didn't seem to know what to do about my gums hurting. He tried to tel me that the timing of my gums being sensitive the very next day might have been coincidental. He wanted me to get X-rays, but I didn't want to give him anymore money. He gave me a bottle of chlorhexidine mouth rinse and told me to use it ONCE per day, but did not laser my teeth as he said he would. When I got home, I went to use the mouth rinse, and realized that it had expired 13 months prior. So I emailed him again. He called me in a prescription for more. It said to swish ONE time per day. It helped at first, but then stopped helping. So I emailed him again to see if he'd call me in a round of antibiotics. He refused and told me to go back to my regular dentist to get the prescription. Since my regular dentist didn't know what to do about it, I went to third dentist, who put me on Clindamycin. She also told me that the mouth rinse was supposed to be use TWICE per day, not once per day. So he wrote the prescription wrong. My gums felt better for a few days, and then the gum problem returned. Today is 5/5/22. I have now been to a total of 5 dentists and one MD. I've been through three rounds of antibiotics, had my gums lasered, and deep cleaned. I've spent hundreds of dollars of my own money (I'm a single mom) as well as hundreds of dollars of my limited insurance money in an attempt to resolve this issue. I AM STILL IN PAIN! Think twice before going to this office. I've never had to deal with anything like this before. This whole experience has been very costly, PAINFUL, and stressful. I came here to try to resolve some health issues, not to acquire a new one. read more

BEST- DENTIST- EVER!!!! If you are looking for competent, caring and communicative dentist than look no further than Dr. Oreilly. I went to his office looking for a second opinion after a having a terrible experience at another dental office. Dr O. spent a considerable amount of time explaining how he would fix my back molar and bridge that needed to be replaced. His easy going, calm and no pressure way of explaining things in language which I could easily understand is appreciated. Once I went ahead with treatment with him, he was also fantastic at explaining what he was doing as he was working in my mouth, which helped to keep me at ease. Dr. O. is extremely conservative and meticulous in his protocols and always has patient comfort in mind while working. He and his chairside assistant Patty work together so well she knows just what is needed before he even asks. Talk about teamwork! Dr O even came in on his day off when my temp broke as he wanted to make sure it was repaired before the weekend, and I was comfortable. Fantastic service all around which is truly appreciated and not easily found in most offices. Also want to give a shout out to Victoria, Sherry and Tammy that run the front office. I went to my dentist after some severe tooth pain and was told I needed a root canal or a tooth extraction. I wanted to get a second opinion so I reached out to Integrative Dentistry and got an appointment. Dr. Kim was able to save the tooth with a filling even though it was very close to the nerve. Though the filling may not last forever, I am so grateful that Dr. Kim was able to save the tooth! Although I was nervous about the procedure, she was very kind and comforting and I am so happy she is my new dentist. As a bonus, all of the staff is very kind which makes going to the dentist a good experience, which I doubt most people can say! read more

I sought out O'Rielly because I had seven amalgam fillings I needed removed as a first step to improving my state of health. I did extensive research on the removal process and spoke with nine different offices regarding amalgam restoration before choosing Dr. O'Rielly and I couldn't be happier with my decision! I have literally never had such a wonderful experience in a dentist's office. It was - dare I say - magical! Dr O'reilly's demeanor is so soothing, and he is so gentle when he cleans your teeth that you feel safe and relaxed and just grateful to be getting your teeth cleaned There are no mouthfuls of loud buzzing tools, suction mechanisms, water sprayers in your mouth the whole time - like at most dentists. It's just you and the doctor, gently cleaning your teeth. His wife is so kind and friendly, and you can just feel their love , and the safe nest of being around such good humans / healers. I highly recommend Dr. O'Rielly. He is a very kind and patient dentist and his wife is as sweet as can be. They offer you homeopathic remedies to help combat any pain associated with your treatments and depending on what services you are getting. For example, this morning I got some to reduce the effects of x-ray radiation when they took my x-rays. I especially recommend him for getting rid of any amalgam fillings you have. He has all the specialized equipment need to take out the silver in the most healthful manner. They also gave me a homeopathic to help detoxify me after the procedure. Taking my silver fillings out was easily the best single thing I have done for my health. My brain fog lifted and I lost "those" 5 lbs that never went away no matter my diet or exercise routine. I am convinced it was permanent inflammation due to the mercury leeching into my body. Once they were out poof. My tire was gone. I also gained energy and motivation to get my website going. My husband who hates going to the dentist has been using him to remove his silver fillings as well. I have an infected root canal and was researching the best ways to address the issue. My regular dentist sent me to a specialist who told me that I had two options to either re-do the root canal or extract to tooth and do an implant. He told me infection and possible fracture was bad and I needed to decide soon. I wanted to research and understand the pros and cons of both procedures as well as ways to address the issue as holistic as possible. I came upon Dr. O's website which has great amount of information on root canal treatments, implant choices, extraction, silver filling removals, etc. Very informative website. Eventually I decided to extract the tooth so I reached out to make appointment. Victoria answered the phone, she was very nice, asked me questions about the problem, and asked me to send the xrays and reports to Dr. O, so he can review them. I really appreciated that I didnt have to make the drive from Irvine for a consultation visit. Dr. O personally reached out to me and discussed his findings, presented me with options, even offered to get a third opinion. Both Victoria and himself followed up and informed me that it'd be better if I had seen an oral surgeon for it because of the severity of the issue. They both again responded to my emails asking bunch of other things to determine the best course of holistic action for my treatment. So, just to clarify I wasnt even his patient, but he (as well as Victoria) took the time to call me, chat with me for 20 minutes, answer my questions via email, etc. It's amazing how some people do good without receiving something for it. I had horrible experiences in this office. Lots of confusion with the wife running the office. Dentist & wife seem to have patients running in & out in such a rush that the health of the teeth of the patients is actually overlooked. I went there as he had no bad reviews on yelp. I feel a need to warn people to stay away from this office. I have been attempting to get my records from them & they have been doctored up & are incomplete including the "new patient exam" that was done after I was there for almost one year. The records now state that they told me to go elsewhere a month before my last two visits to them! The results from the exam where the wife came in instead of the dentist to tell me that I needed 2 crowns without my chart & without telling me which ones are not in the records. Beware! read more

Dr. O'Rielly is the best of the best. You know that you're in the most professional, knowledgeable and skillful hands with him. Two other dentists told me that my cracked tooth needed to be extracted, however Dr. O'Rielly informed me about the possibility of using a new tooth bonding cement that could be used to save the tooth and then crown it. He saved my tooth and it is trouble-free. I personally hate going to the dentist, but Dr. O'Rielly is compassionate, empathetic and the consummate professional.
