Their work was excellent then and it is just as amazing today. Our tile installation was difficult but it was absolutely perfect. We had it set on the diagonal with 2 intersecting hallways. It just doesn't matter what angle you view it from...it is all perfect and balanced. Ed Ehlen also helped us pick carpeting for heavy traffic areas...it still looks good! Just recently we had a huge aquarium break soaking a wide swath of carpeting. We pulled it up to get it drying immediately. We just had Ehlen come out to re-install the pulled up carpet....it looks like a brand new installation! We had to cut the closet carpeting to lift it..the seam is imperceptible where they have repaired it today. We also had them patch a large square of carpet with original installation remnants...I literally cannot even see the seams of the replaced square! We truly cannot say enough good things about Ehlen. We recommend them wholeheartedly and without reservation. The staff is helpful, knowledgable. A number of staff have been there since we first met them in 2002...they absolutely know their products and make the whole process easy and successful. Debbie oversaw our repair with professionalism and worked with my schedules to get this done ASAP. By the way, their installers are amazing! My carpet never seamed well. This was not mentioned when I bought it. When installed I was told…read morethat's just how it is. After less than 3 years, the very visible seam started to fray to make it even worse so I assumed this could be a warranty issue. Mr Ehlen came out and was very nice. He said they won't sell this carpet to anyone who needs a seam and that my sales person was let go for reasons such as this. He said he would contact the manufacturer and at the very least they would stretch it better and trim the fraying. After 3 follow up calls to them and over a month later the receptionist said there is nothing they can do. It appears Mr Ehlen was all talk and no action. I will go elsewhere to replace this. I thought after admitting that this is a known issue they would do something but they did nothing.

They said someone would call to come out and look at it but never did. My worst fear happened with a guest last night and someone tripped and fell. My husband went to the store and asked for what would be needed to repair them, was willing to pay for the supplies, but no interest to help was shown and they told him he can get the supplies " anywhere". The Copeland crew (3 techs) came and scraped the damage drywall and used drywall mud to reshape the area.To speed the job they used fans to dry the mud and primer. The entire job was completed in 3 hours. They came as promised and did a great job. My parents have a lot of experience with home kitchen designs, flooring etc. over the years and this experience was hands down the best experience they had with any designer and company. From the beginning of the process, Larkin was extremely consultative in his approach. He met with my parents frequently at his office and at their condo. He exceeded their expectations with his ideas for design and had the ability to incorporate any idea which they wanted into his plans. He always made it happen but also advised if it was not possible. Their kitchen is absolutely stunning with colorful two toned white and blue cabinets, gorgeous quartz countertops, stainless steel Wolf appliances with beautiful hardwood floors. The attention to detail to the custom cabinetry designed by Larkin is outstanding. He truly went above and beyond when designing.
