The wife and I asked around where was a good place to go for auto and home insurance in the Muncie, IN area, and I was told that Doug Baim in Yorktown was the best. Boy were they right! Doug has been in business over 30 years, and has been in Yorktown for 15. He is a down to earth, honest independent insurance agent. He doesn't sell you anything that you don't need, and gets you all the coverage you do. I have never felt any better after purchasing insurance than how I felt after getting my insurance from Doug. He has about 14 companies to choose from, and he will get your information, put it in his computer, and it will give the best rates and best coverage...period! Give him a call, you will be soooo glad you did! read more

They Actually Care... While looking for insurance I decided to try looking for an agency that was small enough to listen, but large enough to have multiple insurance carriers. I was beyond surprised how Mike Baker genuinely listened and followed up with options that clearly fit my needs at a cost well within my budget. I highly recommend this agency. read more

Always answer questions. As a broker and not an insurance company themselves, they don't mind looking around for best $ savings with best coverage. Doug and the team are knowledgeable and courteous. When insurance goes up or down they can usually tell why & rejoice when down... also look around to compare different company prices, if it goes up. Probably not gonna leave. read more

I had troubles getting responses from the first agent I spoke to, but a friend recommended this office. I am so happy that she did because they were very prompt in getting back to me and were very personable and thorough. We mainly worked with Loren, who is awesome. He even suggested places for us to check out, since we're new to the area. I felt very comfortable talking to everyone in the office and I dig the snacks and sodas they offer, while we situated paperwork. Also, Mike Wright's dogs are in the office and they're adorable! They offered awesome rates and even beat my boyfriend's previous insurance company on rate AND coverage! I came back in later to pick up a temporary card for my boyfriend and mentioned noticing that my previous insurance policy was still listed on my online page and they were quick to go out of their way and call my previous office to fix the problem. I recommend this office 100% By far the best customer service I have every gotten as far as insurance goes and even compared to most other situations.

This year, we had hail damage to our roof, the contractor met with the State Farm claims adjuster who told us that he agreed the roof needed replaced. All the material was delivered to our home and the workers arrived to get started, but for some reason State Farm changed their mind between that meeting and the delivery of material. Again, this year we reported a very minor claim with our small business. It wasn't much money, but we were told upfront that it was covered and later told it was not. Requested multiple times a copy of the details (in writing this time) of what is covered and each time they send irrelevant information. I lose sleep wondering if they'll honor my life insurance policy, if something happens before I find new coverage.
