Slab Leak. Chris responded to our slab leak repairs within 1 hr after a phone call. I needed his professional opinion if the problem was fixed. Just because the plumber says the leak is fixed doesn't mean the problem is over. What about the water under your home. It just doesn't go away. It can turn into a mold monster and your insurance will not cover it. Chris should me provable evidence that the slab leak was not over. The leak was fixed but the water was not gone. Based on his training and experience, he had the proper equipment and team to save me thousands and thousands of dollars in repairs which would have included tearing up my wood floor and remodeling my entire first floor. I have used Integrity before for other mold issues and I knew Chris pays attention to detail. It's hard to find a reliable and dependable restoration professional. There are a lot of rip off artist out there. I would minimum, have Chris inspect your problem. It may be the best investment you ever did. Integrity saved us a lot of money and a lot of unnecessary hassle with complete transparency and honesty! Called out Integrity Restoration and one other company referred to by the plumber to get a bid for a shower leak. The other company gave us a bid for 4x the price and guaranteed we could get insurance to cover. Chris with Integrity Restoration came out, and told us he hadn't seen a slow leak get approved by insurance before, in order to give us proper expectations to evaluate. He also measured the water meter readings the other company had marked, and they were all false. Then we knew things were not adding up with the other company! We spoke with an insurance agent and they confirmed insurance would not cover the cost of the slow leak. Chris was super helpful, generous with his time (he returned my call at 7pm) and really had a lot of insight into how insurance companies work, as well as what needs to be done in water cases. They were actually referred to me by a friend who used them, and I can see why - he explained so much of the process to me and made it understandable. This review is a few weeks late, but ya know...life. Integrity Restoration was a great company to work with for our mold issue. Since this is a more technical service (instead of just like a restaurant) and since I legitimately don't understand much about what was wrong or what happened, I am going to break it down by sections and bullet points that my husband mostly provided. Our issues: -Cracked kitchen sink sewer drain line -Leaking for months, caused mold inside of the wall near the clean-out -Mold inside of a hard to reach cabinet area and under sick *here's the only part I understood...the underside of our cabinets were COVERED in black mold...like toxic, movie-looking stuff. Honestly, we should probably all be dead...maybe that's hyperbolic, but it was pretty legit! Selecting / Inspection - Day 0-Friday: (day 0? LOL IDK what that means, but my husband wrote it): -Picked Integrity because of their Yelp reviews and specialty in mold removal/remediation (based on Yelp & website) & b/c they're local to our community & we try to support local Corona businesses when possible -Called Integrity ~8AM on a Friday - Chris was at the house for an inspection before 11AM (pretty fast!) -Verbally agreed on basic price range while onsite -Chris followed with an official scope of work and line-itemed quote by 1:30PM the same day. -Was able to digitally sign SOW/quote and schedule work to be started on Monday at 9AM *My summary of my husband's notes? Dude was FAST and efficient...that's a good thing when living with the black death...you know what? I just realized Chris may have SAVED OUR LIVES! Work Day 1 (Monday): -Chris and his team (Brent & Ryan) were here at 8:50AM on Monday ready to work (*10 minutes early! Woop!) -Chris explained everything that was going to happen with me (my husband...not me..I was avoiding the black death) and his guys, he got them started and let them do their thing -The team is a great job of protecting everything - entire kitchen including floors were plastic'd off to protect (it looked like one of those sci-fi movies like Quarantine) -Despite it being a construction zone Ryan & Brent were relatively quiet stayed to themselves in the alien-quarantined room -So far as we could tell they never even used the restroom in the house during their entire two days here - this is odd, but actually appreciated -On day 1 Chris stopped by at lunch to inspect and check-in, everything was on track and he provided and exact time (2PM) the plumber (next step) could get into the house -The team was done by 1:30 on day one and cleared room for the plumber Before they left the team explained turn on/off the dehumidifier for the plumber to work around *My summary? FAST AND EFFICIENT AGAIN! Also, being quarantined looked freaky as you know what and I now have a special place in my heart for the real people who live through that. Work Day 2-Tuesday: -Ryan & Brent showed up at 8:58AM (scheduled for 9) - two thumbs up for punctuality (you should be noticing a theme by now) -Worked what seemed like the entire day - left once briefly for lunch/supplies/bathroom - left at just before 4PM -Before leaving cleaned up everything, removed all plastic, wiped down counters, moped/cleaned floors, etc. -Before leaving they checked in with me to show me the completed work and to see if there was any questions - we had none before everything was done great -The area under the sink looked brand new *Summary:BLACK DEATH GONE! #REJOICE Follow-Up - Day 3 (Wednesday): -Jill (wife of owner) called the day after work was completed to again check that everything was okay and to confirm processing payment -Chris was able to slightly discount the final bill due to "a few things going right, needing a few less parts and everything taking less time than expected" HOLLAAAAA In general: Chris & Co were great the entire process, always on time - much appreciated! You can tell that Chris has a lot of expertise and was very willing and able to explain everything that his team was doing and why there were doing it. Everyone was respectful of my home and did everything in their power to keep it clean and covered during the whole process. They were much faster than expected. Originally he said this may be a 3-4 day job, but it ended up only taking 2 days! This project wasn't cheap, but I felt that Integrity's ability to rebuilt/repair/reuse much of this existing cabinet parts saved us a nearly full kitchen remodel, which would have been 3-4x the amount we paid w/ Chris. Overall, Chris and his team were just pleasant to work with. I found them to be good people with the expertise and skill needed to complete the job. They did everything they promised and the whole project can in ahead of schedule and under budget. If you have experienced it, well then, you know that having a flooded house is a nightmare. Good thing, however, there are companies like Integrity Restoration and Reconstruction. Integrity went over and beyond what was expected. Chris, the owner of Integrity, was extremely helpful and understanding in a time of stress. He and his team responded promptly, knew what would -and would not be- covered by the insurance company, and did an excellent job. Chris was very knowledgeable. More specifically, he knew what was needed to be done in order to prevent mold growth, he knew the amount that needed to be removed without removing too much, and knew what to say to the insurance company in order to ensure coverage. Chris also helped me when it came to repairing the damage caused by the flood. At the time, he recently had received his general contracting license. As such, he was able to do the repairs, and did an excellent job. I can say now, having one company do everything -removing the damage caused by the flood and repairing such damage- made the whole process very easy. Although water is essential for life, it is destructive to the integrity of your home. Thus, having a company that knows what they are doing, and that is helpful along the way, is vital. Chris and Jill are the BOMB! They took what could have been an awful and overwhelming insurance claim and made it a very bearable situation. Fire and water damages... Sigh... Long story short the insurance company would have TOTALLY screwed me had it not been for these two WONDERFUL people! Chris is unbelievably knowledgeable and knows his many crafts! Jill is an an unbelievable asset in her management abilities and willingness to help. I had a roof leak that caused mold in 4 different areas of my house to the point that the spores in the air were at dangerous levels and unsafe to remain in the home. I called Chris and explained to him that my family was staying in a hotel until we could get everythig sorted out with the mold removal. Not only did Chris genuinely empathize with what I was going through but he also made it a priority to do anything he could to help get us out of the hotel and back home as quickly as possible. I called on a Monday evening and was able to get an estimate Tuesday and they came out that Wednesday to start the job (even arriving 10 min early). They estimated the job would take about 3-4 days and were able to complete the mold removal in 3. Not only did the removal go smoothly and professionally but Chris also went above and beyond to check the weather report for the next few days, considering the area of the roof that was leaking had not been repaired yet. It turned out that it was supposed to rain the day after the removal was done so Chris went way out of his way and reached out to roofers to do whatever he could to get the roof tarped off to avoid leaks reaching the recently remediated area. It was tough to find a company to come out on such short notice and on the weekend but he managed to make it happen (even getting on the roof himself to help and ensure it got done). It poured the next couple of days and there were no leaks in sight. Had he not thought to check the weather the rain would have been a disaster to the area that had just been remediated. This effort was truely above and beyond. I could go on and on about the great experience I had with Chris and the entire staff at Integrity Restoration. From the customer service to the professionalism to the pricing to the effeciency etc etc. They really did what they could to make a tough situation as easy as possible, being honest and professional every step of the way.
