What I appreciate most about Dr. Blackwell is that she genuinely takes the time to listen. Appointments never feel rushed, and she always takes the time to do thorough consultations and discuss what is actually necessary for your care. It's refreshing to have a doctor who focuses on what's truly best for the patient rather than recommending unnecessary treatments. The Primary Direct Care model has been absolutely amazing as well. Being able to reach out to your doctor when you have questions instead of having to schedule an appointment for every little concern is such a huge benefit. It really feels like you have a doctor who is accessible and truly invested in your well-being. One experience that really showed me how much Dr. Blackwell cares happened last year when I had a serious cat bite. I had gone to the emergency room multiple times and kept being sent home without proper treatment. Dr. Blackwell stepped in, personally called the hospital, and spoke directly with the doctor on duty to explain the situation and the risks involved. Because of her advocacy, the situation was finally taken seriously. That level of care and dedication is something you just don't see very often. Dr. Blackwell goes above and beyond for her patients, and it is such a blessing to have a doctor who truly cares. I am incredibly grateful to be under her care and highly recommend her and her team to anyone looking for a compassionate, attentive physician.
