This is THE WORST parcel delivery company ever. I don't understand how they have stayed in business. I also can't fathom how The Bay and Amazon continue to use this company after so many thousands of complaints. They do not do anything right. EVER. Their modus operandi is to leave packages out in the open for anyone to steal. They don't give you 24 hours notice for delivery only a random email that you're lucky if you see.. notifying you they will be there within three hours. Yeah, right. Most of the time your parcel never gets delivered at all or it is hours or even a day or two late. They don't follow specific directions. They won't take initiative and call if there is an issue despite instructions being written explicitly on the package. There is no optional drop off point to arrange for picking up your parcel safely at your convenience. You are expected to rearrange your entire life to be there on short notice for an endless wait hoping they show up. After waiting for hours and hours, most of the time they don't even extend you the courtesy of calling or buzzing upon arrival, they just leave the package unattended and you have to continuously check online for an update to see that they say it's "been delivered". Then it's up to you to find it. Be it somewhere outside your building or in a public foyer where anyone passing by can steal your package. OR they say they have attempted delivery, when in fact they have not, since you have been home all day waiting and no one has called or buzzed. So it's a bald faced lie. OR they say they delivered your package but lo and behold it went to the wrong address. OR they say there is an issue with your address when there isn't...they just don't read it properly...which says a lot about a business whose sole purpose is parcel delivery. They are lazy, negligent, irresponsible and a class action lawsuit in waiting. Need to call the company on their ONE customer support number? Good luck with that. It's usually a 3 hour plus wait...longer than Air Canada. Except here there is no natural disaster to justify the long wait times. Today, I waited FOUR hours to speak with an agent, from 4 pm to 8 pm PST. At 8 pm, the on hold recording changed to say they were now closed and to call back again tomorrow. As if I have nothing else to do but waste another half a day trying to reach someone. Unfortunately, they don't give you the option to resolve anything online. So if I don't call back to find out what the issue is, I won't receive the goods I purchased and will have to seek a refund. They probably have one customer service rep answering the calls for the entire company...one that specializes in creating a myriad of headaches and complications necessitating hundreds of calls for simple parcel delivery. Their phone recording says they value you, your time and your call....but no they don't. If they did, they would respect your time and not keep you waiting for hours. So at minimum, to receive this one package, I will have spent THREE days out of my life waiting and calling to get delivery arranged. It's outrageous. This has happened many times now over the last few years which demonstrates that this is, in fact, how they conduct business. I have written to both Amazon and The Bay telling them this and asking for them to allow you to specify a preference for a local courier other than Intelcom but so far no luck. They should pay more attention though because using a company like Intelcom is costing them money and customers. Intelcom management will hire anyone as long as they have an IQ equal to a raw potato, and with a driver's license (I hope). Please keep this in mind when you order from Amazon, if you ever see Intelcom as your deliverer for your package, please do yourself a favor and CANCEL THAT ORDER! It's not worth being handled by Intelcom. If you live in an apartment building you can kiss your package GOODBYE! Intelcom delivery drivers are incompetent workers who deliver packages to the front of the apartment building door, or on the sidewalk next to your stairway NON-STOP. If that wasn't bad enough, they repeatedly deliver your package to your neighbor's residence so that YOUR NEIGHBOR HAS TO DO INTELCOM'S JOB OF DELIVERING THE PACKAGE TO YOUR PLACE. Intelcom delivery drivers are literally wasting resources of their own company, AND the shop seller I bought the item from on Amazon!! How? My packages were lined up one after another as described in e-mails they sent to me, but they only delivered only one of the packages instead of all of them together... wtf? And then the reason is because... hold it... they were all damaged. And guess what one of the damaged item was, a durable rug. HOW DO YOU DAMAGE A RUG?? You're going to tell me that they whipped out my rug, and cut it up on purpose? The likely thing is that the lazy delivery driver couldn't be arsed to get out of his vehicle more than once to deliver all my packages so they report the package as broken, and they also don't have the balls to talk to you when you confront them. Amazon has different delivery carriers but they decided to go with Intelcom instead of their own delivery service on more than one occasion. Ok so what's the problem? The problem is that your package will never be on time with Intelcom, even if you have Amazon Prime. Expect many days of lateness and disappointment. They also have the gall to take a picture of the package that they 'delivered', but in that very same picture that they took shows that THE PACKAGE IS ON MY NEIGHBOURS PROPERTY!! Intelcom couriers do not and will not read the delivery instructions that you have written for them. They probably print those instructions out and wipe their ass with it when using the toilet. Intelcom workers do not give an ounce of caring towards any of your packages because they only care about lining their pockets with money from placing a checkmark to your address on their checklist. Intelcom top to bottom will do as little work as possible so long as they get their paycheck at the end of the day. Bad Racist Manager I have been with the company since December of 2019 - July 2020. I was a sorter and a lead handler. The management run poorly by a cry baby KEITH BARTLETT In Ottawa (Intersection: Bentley Ave & Merivale Rd. He promoted me from a sorter to a lead handler after just three months after being there. Everything was good and runs smoothly the first two weeks. This is the FAKE two side of him that he showed me. After that shortly after He really showed me the the nasty, racist side of him that I'm surprised it took this long for the company itself to finally fired him. He would bark at me instead of talking to me like a normal civilize human being. He would then BARK at the employees who understand Very little of English. Most of them are of a refugees. And some this is their very FIRST job on their resume. My job as a lead handler Is to GUIDE them, give them encouragement, and applause them for doing an amazing job! He would complaint that I'm being too friendly...me barking at them would make my job stressful. Them not showing up for their regular shifts because they don't want to have me barking at them every two seconds or they just stop showing up therefor we are all fucked with shortage of hands with high demands packages volumes! Things are quickly going down south when the company (Intelcome Express) higher position rep (Dan) from Montreal come through to find a solution to make the location warehouse run even smoother. Each quick brief meetings he would make a jab racists remark of how the Somalians ladies coming to work work wearing their cultures outfits. He made a comment that Employees of non white cultures in general are stupid and slow. And they should ALL be fired. All of this meanwhile KEITH BARTLETT allowed for this man to talk that way. I am a woman of colour who is super well educated being brought up by well educated family. I spoke my mind and this Dan from Montreal have a nerve to say "but I'm not racist" So I started not to show up to my regular shifts. (Mondays-Fridays) I started not to care about my promoted position. Because it is NOT worth the 3$ raised to have to come to work and dealing with an miserable asshole barking. Keith demoted me Because he was being salty and act like a five year old...I have a son who's five and doesn't throw hissy fits cos he doesn't get his way...that is the persona of Keith I quit eventually. I have absolutely nothing good to say about INtelcom and if I could give them a lower rating I would. Over the past few months several things I ordered from Amazon were suppose to be delivered by Intelcom. The first one was delivered to someone else's house, a few blocks north of us, the homeowner called and said she got my package and hers was missing. When I went out front to go to her house to get my package, I found one for her on my front step. Then I ordered a 55" TV from Amazon. Intelcom said the address was wrong but when they checked, it was right. A big van sat out front of our house for about 10 minutes and then left - that was right at the time they claim to have "attempted delivery". I asked them to get a hold of the driver and have him deliver it. They said they were unable to contact him. Three or four days later an elderly man dragged my TV up the walk and left it standing on the front step on one narrow side of the box. He didn't lean it against the wall or anything. He left as fast as he could and didn't ask for a signature and wouldn't - or couldn't talk to me. A few days later I ordered an SD Micro card and a tire gauge, that was delivered to a house across the street, our address ends in 08, it was delivered to a house whose address ended in 05. That lady was nice enough to call me too. I wrote to Amazon after the TV incident and I called Amazon after the SD card incident and told them what had happened. The man I spoke to at Amazon was very nice and flagged my account for me so that Intelcom should not be delivering any more of my things. I'm hoping this rids me of Intelcom for good. I understand why Amazon would use Intelcom when they seem to be getting so many complaints about them. Just as an after-note, I tried to write a review on the Intelcom Edmonton website and was not allowed in after several tries. It seems they don't want any more reviews and I would question the validity of any good review on that site. Oh well, I am getting to know some of my neighbors thanks to Intelcom. read more

To say I have extreme dissatisfaction with the appalling customer service I have received from Intelcom is an understatement. Over the past several months, I have had numerous issues with failed deliveries and incompetent drivers who demonstrate a complete lack of regard for customers. Despite providing clear delivery instructions, their drivers have failed to deliver over 20 packages to my home. This is simply unacceptable. I cannot fathom how a delivery company is unable to perform the most basic function of getting a package to the correct address. It appears your drivers are being paid to sit idly in their vehicles rather than providing the services I paid for. Additionally, your so-called "customer service" department has been wholly unhelpful in resolving these issues. They have repeatedly failed to follow simple instructions and refused to take any action to remedy the situation. The complete lack of customer service from your representatives is insulting and unprofessional. I am incredibly frustrated and disappointed by the gross incompetence displayed at all levels of your organization. I sincerely hope you will take immediate action to address these problems, provide additional training to your employees, and overhaul your customer service procedures. If the situation remains unresolved, I will have no choice but to take my business elsewhere and encourage others to do the same. While I wish I did not have to write this, your company has left me no choice but to share my experience publicly. The utter failure to provide basic customer service and fulfill a straightforward delivery is frankly unbelievable. I have an Amazon package coming today. My house numbers are clearly visible, and I have had DOZENS and DOZENS of Amazon packages delivered here. It's an old, established neighborhood, and any blind person could EASILY find my house. Easy enough, right?! NOPE!! Never did receive an email this morning, stating where I was in the queue (red flag #1!)... then, I received an email from Amazon stating "Sorry we missed you. Intelcom Courier Canada Inc. tried to deliver your package today but didn't want to leave it unattended." OMIGOODNESS, such BS!!!! First of all, Intelcom has NO problem just tossing your parcels on the step and running like the Devil's chasing them! Ringing a doorbell or knocking is a HUGE inconvenience, so it's NEVER ONCE HAPPENED!!! Plus, it's spectacular out today, so I've been sitting and putzing with some crossword puzzles at my kitchen table since 7 am. (I am LITERALLY only 4 1/2 feet from my front door... and my inside door is WIDE OPEN so I can see the street). The driver, in short, LIED!! These morons and their ridiculously stupid and lazy drivers have made the news here (Edmonton) for their failure(s) in the past. How much more are we to put up with?? Amazon NEEDS to stop using them, and I made that EXTREMELY clear when I called them and asked for a refund, for failure to deliver. (Yep, I KAREN'ed this all over the place!!! But I got my refund, and an extra free month of Prime. And unless Amazon pays return shipping, I'll keep the order... IF it even gets delivered!) Literally THE WORST delivery company I've ever dealt with in the city. I usually never write reviews but these people are rude, unavailable, scammers and my package is nowhere to be found. They sent an email saying my package was signed for and the scribble signature I did not recognize, THIS WAS NOT ME. It was signed by some random person and so I tried calling them, was on hold for forever until my phone disconnected with them MULTIPLE TIMES. Their chat option doesn't work on their website. They don't reply to emails. Called again the next day, went through to someone and the guy on the phone had to ask me to repeat the tracking number 3 times over and then says basically, "it must have been the building security that signed for it". Then I asked if there was anything else they knew about this delivery and the guy just said "no" and sat there in silence over the phone while I just heard background noises and I was left no information. no package. just really really angry, and I ended up just hanging up because the "customer service" guy just refused to offer any help, or even ask me anything, sat there, while I asked if that was it, and he didn't even answer in full sentences. He obviously just wanted me to hang up. My building front desk and security said no they wouldn't just sign for a package and not have it. I've never had an issue like this with any other delivery company here. Now I'm left to deal with this problem and intelcom just does not care even in the slightest. This is a fake, scam of a company with the rudest customer service reps I've EVER dealt with in my life. Do not assume the other 1 star reviews on here are being dramatic. They are not. Awful experience. Requested a next day return for an Amazon purchase (for a Thursday), and instead Intelcom didn't schedule the pickup until Saturday (2 days later). On Saturday at around noon I got an email, notifying me that the driver would be arriving within three hours. I put my weekend plans on hold to wait for the driver. I waited 5hrs before giving up. The tracking number claimed that pick-up was attempted and failed, however nobody called me, or knocked on my door. I had to phone to schedule a new pick-up time and spent 1.5hrs on hold, just to reschedule for today (I clarified my phone number and buzzer number to ensure they had the correct contact info for me). This morning at 9am, I got an email claiming the driver was on their way and would arrive in 3hrs. After 3hrs no one arrived, so I again called Intelcom (on hold for 30min) for an update. They claimed the driver was running a bit late and that the driver was on deliver 76 and I was 87in queue and it should expect the driver within 2hrs. After 4hrs I called again (now 7hrs after I got the initial email), and I was informed that the driver was at delivery 76 in and I was at 87. Apparently in 4 hours the driver had not made a single delivery. Then the customer service representative, informed me that the driver should make it to me before 9pm (which would be 12hrs after the initial email was sent). I contacted Amazon and was told that they could schedule me another pickup, or I could request a shipping label and ship with Fedex, or Canada Post. It is now a week after the requested return, I have wasted 2 whole days waiting for Intelcom driver to pick up package and now am informed by Amazon that I have to print off a shipping label for a completely different provider and take the package in to be shipped. read more

Unacceptable Delivery Experience with Intelcom for BestBuy Order I want to preface this by saying I have no complaints about BestBuy. My issue lies solely with Intelcom, the delivery service they've outsourced to. This has been, without a doubt, the worst delivery experience I've ever had. On Friday evening, I called Intelcom to ensure they had the correct buzzer code to enter my building. They confirmed they had added it, and my delivery was scheduled for the next day. However, by the end of the day, I received a notification that my package was returned to their warehouse. When I called the next morning, I was told the delivery person couldn't find my address, mistakenly thinking it was a commercial location. A quick online search revealed that they had simply forgotten to include my apartment number, even though the name of the business associated with my address was clearly linked to an apartment. I took the time to confirm my address, apartment number, and buzzer code once again. Despite being assured that a different driver would handle my delivery and that they had all the necessary information, I received yet another notification that they couldn't find my address. What's even more frustrating is that Intelcom doesn't offer the option to deliver the package to a local UPS, Purolator, or Canada Post store. I would have been more than willing to pick up my order if they were having difficulty delivering it. Instead, they simply return it to their warehouse after each failed attempt. Well looking at the reviews here we're in good come with this terrible courier service. If I could give a -5 rating I would. We've had nothing but troubles with them and Amazon. We have TWO signs on our garage door advising that NO deliveries are to be left at the garage door, ALL deliveries are to go to the front door. We have called Intelcom and Amazon MULTIPLE times to log complaints, they promise this will NEVER happen again. Well today, we received two cases of cat food left at the garage door. My husband wasn't aware that the shipment there and when he backed out of the garage to go to work; the cases of cat food went under the car and the exhaust system was ripped out. Called Intelcom to complain AGAIN and advise of the property damage, NO supervisor or manager available I'm told. Called Amazon, spoke with a supervisor who transferred me to another supervisor who advised that another supervisor or manager would call me back in 24 to 72 hours. Got a call back in 4 hours, same crap.. apologized, tried to pacify me without doing anything. The property damage would be Intelcom's responsibility, I know that as it was the courier responsibility to leave the package in the designated area. The Amazon manager suggested that we created an account with Intelcom so that we can have a profile with our delivery information like you would have with Purulator. Well friends, you CAN'T create a profile you have to be a commercial entity. All Amazon does is give a BS story to PACIFY you, all we want to have our shipments left at the front door. read more

I WORKED FROM HOME ON THIS FRIDAY AND NOONE EVER BUZZED UP OR CALLED ME... I THAN GET AN EMAIL WITH A PICTURE OF MY BUILDING AND A SIGNATURE WHICH WAS NOT MINE! SO I WENT AROUND LOOKING TO SEE IF MAYBE IT WAS BY MISTAKE! I SAID NO WAY SOMEONE IN MY BUILDING WOULD GRAB MY PACKAGE AND INITIAL MY NAME! SO NOW I CALL AND GET A WOMEN WHO SOUNDED VERY PROFESSIONAL BUT IT SOUNDED LIKE SHE WAS WALKING AROUND AND A DOOR SHUT BEHIDE HER! SHE SAYS "I called the delivery guy who said he will return and go to the apartment number he dropped the package at" I said ok! Give me the apartment number I'll go myself! She then says.. I cannot give out that information! I said MMMM OK?!? Hour goes by I decided to call again... now a young man answers and says "sorry about that I will email the warehouse and see if I could get a hold of The driver" I said clearly something is wrong. He then says "I have done what I could go" I then said "F**K YOU and hung up!!! Now I have seen ALL the reviews of people's packages not being delivered! I HAVE ORDERED FROM THIS COMPANY AND FEDEX DELIVERED IT! I have never EVER had this "so called company Intelcom deliver to me before" THEY SCAMMED ME! Dojit is a disgusting human being! After reading some of the reviews lambasting Intelcom, I felt the need to post my own experience. I am a Prime member and get frequent deliveries from Amazon. Some times when shipments originate in another country and must clear customs, they are handled by an independent carrier rather than Amazons inhouse staff. Two thing that I have the need to comment on; first is that the only complaints that I have had with packages not being left per my instructions, were ALL by Amazon inhouse drivers. These have been addressed satisfactorily. Second; the deliveries managed by Intelcom, always provide me with an email informing me that my package is out for delivery on the day it leaves the warehouse, an update within 3 hours of the actual expected arrival time, and not one time has an Intelcom driver failed to respect my security precautions by ignoring my delivery instructions. I understand that not all deliveries will go as planned, the same way not all car trips are without incident, but from my experience, Intelcom is very professional and I should know as I was a courier for nearly 20 years and do recognize the difference. So how do you get the same results? Well, assume that you will not be able to take personal possession of your delivery and make provisions. Place clear signage at your residence for the driver and provide a secure, out of sight of the street, location for your packages and most importantly, clear communication with the courier and CSR's. Remember, their only goal is to get your package to you safely and asap. read more

I can usually give benefit of the doubt and I find their customer service is polite and easy to deal with, but their drivers are just bloody horrible. I'm in a subdivision 2 blocks off a main highway and their customer service reps have no issues pulling my address up immediately in Google maps when I call. Yet somehow EVERY package delivered by this company via Amazon so far has been delayed, marked "address not found". Seriously, they are 0 for 4 in less than 4 weeks to the same address. Drivers also consistently mark packages as "delivery attempted" but my Nest camera shows that absolutely no one came which means either they are overloaded and can't deliver all of them in time (bad on the company), or they just can't find the address and don't want to look bad a second time (bad on the driver). I have had to call their customer service for every order so far and have even gone as far as pre-emptively providing exact Google map co-ordinates and the drivers still could not find the address after 2 more attempts. Even their customer service reps get angry at their drivers seeming to be unable to use Google maps. It's an established subdivision with clearly marked houses and addresses that is clearly searchable in Google maps. I have finally called Amazon and have had them pushed to the bottom of my prioritization list of couriers for my account and I now include special instructions on all my orders to not ship with this company as a result. Back once again to share the horrors of Intelcom Courier's. I was again waiting on a package from Amazon Canada to be delivered. I'd received an email stating that it was "out for delivery", which with Intelcom, is always dubious. Sure enough a few hours later, I received a message via social media from a member of my local community, stating she had a package with my name and address on it. They had apparently tried calling Intelcom, but after being on hold for over 30min, gave up and found me. They even had a photo texted to their cellphone of my package sitting at their front door (See below). While we were chatting, I receive an email saying "Delivery had been attempted"...meaning that there was a problem. Hell yes there was a problem....you were at the wrong damn house! Don't ask me how the driver got their cell #, but they did...which I'm grateful for, because it provided me with the evidence needed. Had this homeowner not been so honest, there would have been another "lost" package I could add to my list...all courtesy of Intelcom Couriers. What's funny, is that the addresses aren't even remotely similar. So I wandered down to retrieve my wayward parcel. When I checked the contents, sure enough, it contained the items that were supposed to be in the one where "delivery had been attempted". So, yet another complaint was filed with Amazon. What will it take to get this damn company shut down...or at least not a source for Amazon deliveries? read more

Here is a update on my original review I gave on here which you can find right below this one! After writing the first review, I was persistent with these AHole's, and guess what? I WON!!! I called twice a day to them through their toll free number where you have to say whatever BS 3 times before you get connected with a live agent. So took about 5 days I'm guessing and they threw every excuse at me from all corners. And I kept on harassing them, calling out the supervisor and calling once at 9am every morning before leaving for work, and then called them again on the same day around 4pm till there was complaints upon complaints from me in their systems saying " customer is wanting his items and is threatening staff here daily till he gets those items sent out to him ". Now I didn't threaten anyone, but I sure as hell broke their balls! Till I called this morning July 6th and they said it's RIGHT NOW being loaded on the truck and it was marked urgent to get to me. Around 10:15am this morning after a battle that seemed awhile, I finally got my items. And that's how you win the war with these idiots. Make everyday a living hell for them. Demand daily you want your items delivered on the same day if they give a excuse. And eventually they will get frustrated and tired of you, and they will finally send out your stuff just to SHUT YOU UP! I accomplished the impossible. And I won!!! read more

My package was received at Intelcom warehouse on 2021-12-10. 5:28PM and remained there until 2021-12-27 (Intelcom website says parcels go out next day & delivery is within 2-4 days of receiving items at warehouse, 7 days a week, 8am-9pm). I emailed 3 times to inquire what the delay was, and despite what their automated response says, no one called me back within 24-48 hrs. No one called back period. Chat does not work. When you phone you are on hold for 45+ minutes. Finally, 17 days later, tracking updates. Parcel out for delivery. To get into my building, which has door cameras, a person dials door intercom which rings direct to my cell. My cell shows no record of any "missed calls" so imagine my horror when I check the tracking and see this: Delivery attempt / We attempted to deliver your package. Now I have experienced it first hand. How many more people have to go thru this? Intelcom is a dishonest company. I do not want their "canned" apology- I want my parcel delivered to me. Ever since Amazon decided to use Intelcom as their main courier, there has been nothing but constant trouble. Whether my items were stolen, or never delivered, but in one full year, I had to call Intelcom (only to be directed to Amazon) 23 times now. Yes, you read that number correctly, TWENTY F***NG THREE TIMES. Note that prior to Intelcom, I have never, not once had an issue with Purolator or any other courier. They deliver while I am not home? NO PROBLEM - they will leave it at shoppers drug mart for you to safely pick up. Seems pretty simple. What does Itelcom do? They will leave your packages outside your building, or by your door, without calling you (doesnt matter how many times you give them directions to call you and not to leave the package in an unsafe location). So, after your package has been stolen, you have to call Itelcom. the wait is typically half and hour to an hour. After they make a useless report, you get to wait another half an hour or longer to get to Amazon. You will beg them to de-prioritize the courier, but they will simply pretend to click a button, and the next time you order again, guess who gets to deliver your stuff? Yep, Intelcom. I used to love amazon, and still enjoy ordering certain things online. Its an amazing service. I dont understand why Intelcom is a part of it. read more
