My son took me out for a belated Father's Day outing to have dinner and ride go karts, but it would've been too late by the time we ate so on a whim, we decided to try an escape room. We made our reservations, not knowing that it was a scare room called the basement as well LOL. Let me just say HAMBONE is the man and will not disappoint! What a rush! it's about like hunting rabbit you have to be very, very quiet and fast LOL. They have a great introduction that tells you about the different locks and puzzles you will be dealing with in the room and further instructions after entering it. I LOVE horror and had an amazing time here. Let's say as a horror aficionado, my knees wobbled quite a few times in the rooms. There's a "how many people have peed their pants" counter because of how scary the rooms are. (Good thing their bathrooms are super clean! I recommend using the bathroom beforehand because .... it gets spicy). Our first room was unholy and I loved all the puzzles. Next, we did no vacancy and they did such a good job at the "ambience" of the room that I was thoroughly creeped out by it! Gamemasters paid a lot of attention and you can tell that a lot of thought and passion goes into their rooms. 10/10 would recommend (and have already recommended) to my friends and family. I'm editing this review as there are two locations - there is another location in Tampa. We did four more rooms in this location the following day. Both businesses are owned by the same family, and they are all amazing and sweet. Since we were there practically all day, we got to chat with them and get to know more about their rooms, the way they run things and their thought process. They even let us beta test one of the rooms that they will be opening to the public soon and it was... INTENSE! read more

This place is amazing! We did the basement room and it was really terrifying- but in the best way possible. I am also a giant baby and made my friends do the scariest parts but it was still so fun. We all have plans to go back in the fall, especially around halloween time! Right now they only have two rooms but they're expanding to four soon and we can't wait! The jungle is great for scaredy cats like me that just want to figure out an escape route but the basement is where it's at for adrenaline or horror movie junkies! My group of 8 played the Jungle Fever room. It was an utterly fantastic experience. The introduction / rules room felt like a Disneyland attraction. It was suberbly done and had a great story line. We next went into the first room where there were clues virtually everywhere. It was a blast making sense of it all, pairing up the correct clues and then canvassing for missing parts. The second room was even better. The jungle theme came bursting through as we searched for clues, the key to get home and the antidote needed to save the world. Which we did! The staff was great and the facility was immaculate (a motorized hand sanitizer dispenser was placed by the entrance to the rooms and we all sanitized under the staffs' caring guidance). Had a great time. The room looks amazing and was very interactive. One of the best rooms we've done. The only down part is that the room we did which was a murder themed room would not have been good for a large group. There was only ever one puzzle to work on at a time. read more

I would give it less than one star if I could! I made a reservation over two weeks prior to our family thanksgiving (on Friday) for 10 people to do two separate escape rooms. All paid, receipt in hand and ready to go only to find out that our pre paid event had been mysteriously cancelled!? How does that even happen? I asked that same question to the owner, Renee and even she couldn't explain it! No apologies, no explanation. ‍ We were offered to spend our money with them if we wanted to wait 3 more hours! No thanks! After a few calls we were told the payment system they use has been having "these types of issues". Note to Renee: #1-You may want to use a different billing system! This is a small town and the 10 local "would be" customers you just disappointed WILL share the experience of your horrible customer service with at least 10 other local families! And we WONT try to book with you again, far too many other options out there! read more

I wish I could've had the opportunity to experience this escape room...I flew down to meet my brother and we really wanted to do an escape room together. Due to travel restrictions, this is the only one in the area we would be able to go to. On their website it says that each room requires a minimum of four people, but they are willing to make exceptions during the week. Hopeful, and starting at 1 PM, I had to call five times and left two voicemails because I was not able to make a reservation online due to only having two people. It is now 6 PM and all reservations have filled up and I have yet to get a response. Unfortunately, I will not be giving this business my money and hope changes are made for future guests. read more
