The doors were locked with a sign to call 518-693-6960 ext 0 to get the receptionist. As I'm calling the receptionist sees me waiting at the door and quickly hides behind her desktop monitor. The call goes to voicemail and so I try the number a second time with no avail. I thought why not try the ring door bell. It's working but after two rings it shuts off. I thought I must be on candid cam to be ignored so blatantly when the receptionist could clearly see me through the glass doors. After another moment of waiting she discreetly poked her head from behind the computer to see if I was still there, at which point she realized I could see her and reluctantly came to open the door. As if getting through the door wasn't difficult enough, I politely requested a business card to reach the branch manager/owners to which she contemptuously barks "whats it regarding?? You haven't even introduced yourself!" Persistently, I said "I just needed a business card" at this point she shuffles through her desk drawer to find some old Fingerpaint cards neatly bound with a rubber band. She throws them back in state "we don't have any" and refused to share even an old one with me. I asked if the phone was working because it went to voicemail twice despite following the instructions on the door. Very perturbed she says" I'm on my lunch break! All calls go to my email which I don't have up right now". "You will just have to google search that information" see adds. Clearly I was getting no where with this person so I turn around to leave and she barks that she's emailing the owners assistant about this right now. I never in my life thought it would be so difficult to retrieve a simple business card. Nor had I ever imagined I would be treated so poorly from a business that all the locals respect and rave about.
