I had witnessed the crew from Edge Pro Painting doing a job nearby last year, and thought, they do a good job and seem to work well together. Having a discussion with Martin about our house project, I soon realized he was more aware of my needs than I was. My wife and I spent the next few weeks clarifying the exact colors we wanted, and got on Martin's schedule. Beginning with the prep work, we were amazed at the amount of detail they went through before even applying any primer. Each day they would methodically arrive on time, have some coffee, and spend the day humming, singing, talking together, and detailing out all the necessary areas to be masked off, so as to not impact areas that aren't supposed to be painted. It was amazing! The rhythm that these guys have, working together as a true team, each one clearly knowledgeable of the task at hand. Each day would end with a complete clean up of materials discarded during the work session. Each day Martin would ask me to approve the work done, and if I saw something that needed additional attention(which I did, only once), they would attend to it right away. At the completion of the job, and after all the cleanup, my wife and I had ear-to-ear grins, happier than we had imagined, we loved it! Then came the invoice: the estimate that Martin had given me originally is what he charged, again, very reliable and a fair price. Having a well prepped house, using the best products, an impressive group of guys working out the details of what we wanted, and a crew chief/owner, Martin, who was honest, reliable, and did whatever it took to make us feel satisfied with the job. Aaron is a crook. I paid $475 to have Burk's Custom come to my house to repair small dings in our…read moredrywall and touch up paint. The painter who came to my house did a sloppy job. I had to call them to come back out and fix the poor job (there was excess wall paint that went into the ceiling and streaks on the wall) and since I did not know the color of the ceiling paint, I agreed to pay the $85 paint match. There was scheduling mistake with the painter so I had to call them again and during that time, told them the correct paint color ("swiss mocha"- it was actually swiss coffee, but anyone who does paint should know this - swiss mocha doesn't even exist at Dunn Edwards). They came out 3 days later, fixed the mistakes but I was still charged the $85 paint match even though NO PAINT MATCH services were rendered. When I called back for a $85 refund, Aaron told me he needed it to pay his guy and that he would not refund the money because he had to pay his painter labor for coming out twice. If he did the job right the FIRST time, there would be NO NEED for a 2nd visit. He refused. I told him to keep the $85 and I will be happy to share my experience with anyone who is considering this crooked company. Aaron called it "above standard quality work" - what a JOKE. Aaron - you have no integrity. Keep the $85.
