The golf course is the highlight. It's very challenging and it's always in great shape. All the members are quality and the staff is top notch as well. This is one of the finest private clubs in the area.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the food is great (though I can't comment on what their usual meals are like). There was a wonderful spread of salad, different fish dishes, a huge tray of raw oysters and jumbo shrimp cocktail (and I really liked the cocktail sauce, which seemed homemade), pasta, grilled veggies, a carving station with BBQ brisket (not 4 Rivers good, but still pretty tasty) and assorted appetizers, fruit, cheese, and crackers. At the lobster station, someone will pull out a whole lobster from the pot and expertly remove the shell for you right there, giving you just the meat from the claws and tail with a little cup of drawn butter. (Of course, being Chinese, my husband asked for the brains too!) It wasn't the best lobster I've ever had because it was slightly rubbery, but it was very good for a buffet, and I think I ate at least 2 lobsters! The dessert area is always the highlight for me and I really had to limit myself to only three items. The apricot cheese cake, key lime pie, and apple cobbler were all delish! I have no clue how much the meal cost per person, but you get the chance to go, I highly recommend it! =)

I'm not sure why all of the bad reviews are on here--at the moment, it costs like $17 to play twilight. For THAT price, this course is great. Some of the greens are under repair in small spots--it isn't like the whole green is a mess, and the course generally isn't pristine, but it's a bargain course! The fairways are cut and green, the tee boxes are cut and green, and the greens roll well. I can't really think of many other courses at this price point that are worth playing in the same or similar area. If you're looking to play a quick round around $25 or so max, give this course a shot. It's a good layout, not too long or short, kept well for the price and will give you a fair challenge.

Horrible course. In horrible shape…read moreWith horrible Marshall's And rude employees. Went there to golf a few days ago and the experience was probably the worst I've had in central Florida. I have golfed at probably 15/18 different courses in the Central Florida area. Very rushed all day by rude people on the course and the Marshall telling us (3 golfers) we should finish 18 holes in 2 hours?!?!? Did not get to relax on Super Bowl Sunday and on top of it all the golf course was like I was playing in someone's backyard who hasn't been home in six months. I will never visit this golf course ever again and I hope you read this review and pass on it yourself.

Conditions- 1/10. The only reason im giving the conditions 1 and not a 0 is because of the 2 greens…read moreout of 18 that were in semi good conditions. The tee boxes were in bad shape. Not really grass, just dirt and crappy grass. The fairways never had any good patches of healthy grass. The bunkers were in bad shape, not taken care of really. The greens were by far the worst Ive been, probably ever. Dead grass everywhere. They had sand and hay on the greens to try and help. But they need more than just help. Views- 2/10. It was surrounded by houses. Yes, nice houses but nothing else really. No wild life, not a lot of water but always pretty trees to look at. Difficulty- 7.5/10. Honestly I was surprised by how difficult this course can/was be. Very tight course, houses on both sides. trees coming onto the fairways. I played from the blue tees and if this course was longer it be up there in difficulty. Add some more water holes and yeah its a 9.5/10. Hospitality- 8/10. The guy at the pro shop was in good spirits. Was helpful and made sure I was set to go. They had a cart girl going around like I always say nice to have on a hot summer day in orlando, you always want to stay hydrated. The guy at the car return said bye and thank you. Value- 3/10. You get what you pay for. I payed $55 for my round. I kinda knew what I was going to expect when I got there. I don't know what came first the course or the houses. If it was the course first, add a practice range, add a bigger pro shop. Add anything. But if it was houses then course, they did what they could do. Practice Facilities- 0.5/10. Only had a 3 hole bumpy/crappy putting green. Location- 7/10. Located near Wekiwa. I never been to the area before but I know it had plenty of stuff around the course to eat or do after or before your round. Design- 7/10. It had 2 holes that were dog legged left and right that was cool to try and get through. Most of the holes were your simple slight left and right holes. Like i said before the course was very tight. It can be a championship course if they take care of it! Atmosphere- 5/10. I played by myself there was a twosome and 2 singles behind me. No one said anything to me, the pace of play could have been a lot worse if it was busy. Took me a little under 4 hours to play but could have finished in 3:30 if they grouped people right. The cart girl was nice as well. Foos- N/A. They did had a place to eat in the club house.

It has a comfortable atmosphere combining casual with classy. The people who work there provide a welcoming attitude and good customer service. I have been pleased every time and occasion I have attended, especially my 80th birthday celebration last November; my guests also expressed their appreciation for such a special evening. Having this country club and restaurant in this area is merely one of the positives for living in this community where we decided to retire.
