Wow! A "premium roof" (at a premium price). After the installation of what appeared to be a beautiful LIFETIME roof, I'm finding flaws one year after it was installed. First, I went into the attic to see light coming from under the ridge vent. This is an area that is supposed to be sealed to an opening that is three inches or less (according to the manufacturer's specifications). My opening is 5 inches and not sealed (else light would not be visible). Fortunately, driving rain did not appear to get in (yet). But it's an open door to "Shield Bugs" (AKA "Stink Bugs" - which keep appearing in our home. I'm remodeling my kitchen and wanted to see how well the vent over the stove was working. I put a pot on to boil and stepped outside to see the venting. What venting? There is NO vent! Google maps shows earlier photos (before the new roof) and the vent disappeared after the new roof was installed. Bottom Line: My kitchen has been venting into my attic for a year without my knowledge. When I thought I was venting kitchen steam outside, I was actually pumping it into my cold attic to condense on the underside of my roof deck. I would have done better to open a window! Unacceptable! I am very pleased with the entire experience with Interlock Roofing. Ross did a fantastic job of showing me all of the options available, and explaining how Interlock is different from other roofing. This was not a hard sales pitch. I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable a metal roof was. I had five other estimates for a traditional composite roof, and the price difference for a forever roof was negligible considering all the benefits. Next, the installation. These guys were amazing! Only two guys doing the demo and reroof, but very hard workers and did a fantastic job. It seems rare these days to find skilled tradesmen that take pride in their work, and these guys exceeded my expectations. I also took advantage of Interlock's financing. The first problem that occurred was they removed a part of my neighbors roof before realizing it was a mistake & fixed it. Then they did not put on the plywood that was part of the contract & did not refund us. They did not put the cap of the roof on correctly or the chimney fixtures. It took them several times to fix. Many leaks through the years & yet more as of now. 01/11/10 - Interlock Industries inspected our roof & said they will replace it. 06/19/10 Roof replaced. Looks good for now. We are so impressed with our new roof. We have been wanting a metal roof for quite some time. We never knew that there was a better option than sheet metal. With an interlock aluminum roof, you get the best of the best. They send out a thorough sales rep to meet with you and your spouse. In that meeting they show you examples of the roofing options, how it is installed and the process it takes. This is a company that does it all. They manufacture their product specifically for your house, box your product up, deliver it on site, send their own installers etc., it's all in house. We were so impressed with our installers. The company sent a crew of 2 to install our roof. They both worked so fast and efficient. They worked in high winds, snow, and bitter cold. I felt so bad for them, but they were happy to be at my house, and were always working hard. We knew we had black mold and a leak, the installers replaced the sheets of plywood in those areas and others that did not need it. I was gone a lot during installation. But I kept getting messages from neighbors asking about our new roof and telling me how great it looked. So finally, after it was completed, and I could see the new roof in daylight, I had a huge grin from ear to ear. It is a beautiful roof. We chose the aged copper. My neighbor calls our snow guards "roof bling." I am so happy that we chose a company that cares about their product. You can tell from start to finish that they are the best!!! While Interlocks sales presentation and the promise of their 'Lifetime' quality products were big drivers in our decision to purchase their installation, the overall installation experience did not live up to the expectations. Specifically, communications or rather the lack of it, made the installation process nearly intolerable. Given that the installation time period was in the December timeframe, I could have expected some vacations and delays due to weather with notifications of such however the office seemingly made no attempt to inform me of the specific project start date and no attempt to inform me on the crew status. Phone calls and email went unanswered for days to the extent that I wished that I could cancel the installation at several points. read more

Glen Boss explained every detail of the project to us in easily understood language. Angela kept us informed of the details of arrival of materials & start of work. This business is a SCAM!!!!....I signed a contract on June 9 2016 for a metal roof to be installed the first week in sept.2016...during that time they tried to have me re sign the contract to put cheaper material for the same price...when that didn't work they stalled told me three day before it was to be installed they said THIER product failed?....said it would be installed the middle of oct....did not hear from them.i finally called on the 3 of nov.and again they said their product failed and it would be installed before the holidays....two days after thanksgiving some material was delivered and sat in a ft of water....then on dec. 8 2016 they show up and take part of the roof off ...they cover dry rot!!...they next day they show up during a blizzard when portland Oregon is shut down and road advisories are saying don't drive!...roads are shut down and they want to climb on my roof to get hurt so my home insurance will pay out....told them to get off my property!...now I have a roof that's torn off in the middle of winter and they are trying to put a Leon on the house!!....they are not to be trusted!!....they are a film flam company!!....do not buy from this company!!u read more
