Love this little dog park in Broomfield! It's very close to the mall, so it's easy to fit a visit…read morein with some shopping and dining. It's off the beaten path and fairly quiet. I love the location, alongside a marshy area with lots of light, fresh plants and shade. There's a nice short loop to walk, and some facilities around as well. The other dogs were friendly and my dog had fun walking around the path. There was a bit of water around but that's usually normal after snow. Great stop for a quick break or play time!

Be careful with the wind and your throws, there are houses that line the north side of this park where your disc can fly! The homeowners seem pretty nice and understand as they helped us retrieve our disc from their yard a couple times. PRO TIP: There is parking near the first hole along Garden Center St (39.924612, -105.089522).

I like this course, but the tees and baskets are confusing. You should first play this course with somebody who has first has played it. The park is a long grassy field bordered by the backyard of private homes on one side and apartments and the back side of businesses on the other side, so there are some tricky shots despite having few trees. Oh yeah, don't forget that THE WIND ALWAYS BLOWS IN BROOMFIELD!!!!! I would give this course 4 Stars because the holes are long, BUT it is really hard to find the natural tees, most of them marked by spray paint on the sidewalk and it is hard to determine which basket belongs to which hole. Once you figure it out, the course is fun and surprisingly challenging considering it is fairly wide open. This course is a great alternative when the crowds converge on East Park a few miles away. It is also better when the wind is really bad because it is less windy (although not much less windy) than East Park.

They are learning the rules of disc golf and getting quite good. We typically skip hole 5 due to the extreme blind throw over the creek and the kids just can't quite throw that hard yet. This particular day was quite busy and we were doing our best to ensure we weren't holding up the people behind us. We skipped hole 5 again and waited behind a couple of people at hole 6. A group came up after us and when it was our turn, they stepped up in front of us as if take their turn. I was confused but tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and said it's ok if you go ahead of us. The man immediately and argumentatively harassed us for having cut the line. My husband stepped in and tried to diffuse the situation, while trying to understand how he came to accuse us of cutting when that was precisely what he'd just done. Apparently he saw us skip hole 5 and didn't understand why and thought we just didn't want to wait. I completely under this point of view but unfortunately he wouldn't let us explain and essentially screamed at us until we decided to walk away. It was a truly unpleasant experience and I feel as though we could have discussed it more civilly but were never given the chance. I haven't ever encountered anyone that passionate about playing every hole, but with kids that's just not possible. I hope we are able to visit again and put this behind us but I suppose I just want others to be aware that there are players who feel strongly about certain aspects of this course. This park has a great view of some mountains in the distant background and multiple physical activity opportunities for people of abilities the path is wheelchair accessible bicycle welcome and dog friendly. The path is mostly Gravel with no major impossible rats and looks very well maintained there are benches throughout. Just not the initial part where my mom needed one so she turned around and went back. A time was had by all.

Aside from the 18 long holes of the Badlands, and near holes 12 and 13 is the start of the hidden Blair Witch Project disc golf course. Aptly named after its environment of thick trees and pathless route, the holes are almost always impossible to see from the tee pads. Nevertheless a ride and full of challenges and good fun this course is all its own. Combined with the Badlands 18, you're in for a treat and a long day. I shamelessly recommend running this course first with someone who knows it. Otherwise, like me, you have to walk the entirety of each hole before driving.

They also routinely have disk golf tournaments on TV but will put on big baseball, football, or hockey games on as necessary too. A large amount of disks are available as well as a large number of disk bags. Plenty of shirts, hats, and assorted disk golf accessories. Even some discontinued or older miscellaneous disks you can grab for $5-10 if you don't want to venture into $25-40 territory. Not to mention the Another Round staff on hand that can give you game tips as well as point you to other nearby disk golf courses. A nearby course? Johnny Roberts / Wolf Creek is right around the corner. Grab a beer. Play some golf. Not a bad location for both. Even if you just want to hang out and talk shop. You'll find a few other disk golf stores in the local area but it really seems that Another Round is doing it best. They also have small buy in tournaments or challenges as well as larger events here. Be sure to peep their social media or stop into either location for specifics on that. Not a bad spot to pick up a few new disks or try your hand at frisbee golf. They also have a rewards program that works between stores to save you some coin.

The bartenders and patrons were all very friendly. We came at 6pm in June and the dog park section was nicely shaded. Such a relief after a very warm day in the front range. In the dog park there are water bowls available to keep your dog hydrated while they're playing with all of their newly made friends! I particularly loved how laid back this dog park/bar is. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area!

Specifically the fact it was open and not a lot of places to lose a disc / easy to find your disc. In North Carolina and Florida the underbrush was very thick and full of animals! Said we needed pants because of the wild grass on the course. Dads perspective - also liked you couldn't really lose a disc for both he and I! From a course perspective it was great.
