The operator/care rep on the phone was very rude and condescending. She hung up on me very abruptly after I asked how to get an order in for a test. I am a new patient and have no idea how things work at the center, other than my Dr telling me I needed to go there for a test. I expected customer care not a shaming session. I sure hope the staff at the center to get the imaging done gives more grace than the rude lady who answers the phone for them. read more

Very kind and friendly to help keep ya calm when your a little nervous about getting an MRI. Update: I left a message with medical records. They called me in less than 24 hours. Turns out the disc problem was pilot error. The executable was there I was just running the wrong one! I have to say what I love about Boise is how nice people are even when you are in the wrong. Thank you for being patient and understanding ---------------------------------------------------- I have now had two appointments at two different locations. Staff is super friendly. The referrals and insurance stuff went off without a hitch (as far as I know) and both sites were clean and efficient. One star deducted for two CDs that don't work. This is not unique. I had the same happen at another facility. I think the staff needs training on how to burn a CD with the correct executable dukes to launch. Aside from that it was awesome read more

I have had several imaging appointments with IMI. I am claustrophobic and get anxious. The teams at IMI from checking in, to being taken back for my exam were amazing. They walked me through each step, told me how many minutes each process had left. I was treated with respect and compassion. At one exam I was not even able to sit up by myself with the pain in my lower back. The Tech totally took my hand and supported me with his strength to sit me up. As I sat crying and embarrassed, I was made to feel like they totally understood and cared. IMI is also way more affordable. I had an MRI at a hospital in the Valley and the bill was way more than I expected. At IMI, they give you an estimation on your bill prior to being scanned. I was very impressed with their whole process, and will never go anywhere else. read more

I recently had my 3rd annual low dose CT scan done at the Meridian IMI office. Same good experience each time. They promptly checked me in at the front desk making sure all their info was current and correct and within minutes I was having the scan done by a polite competent staff member. Within a few days I received a CD copy of the scan and a full report from the radiologist. That's a big deal! In addition to the generic report that says "you don't have cancer and your aorta doesn't look like it will burst anytime soon" a concerned patient can read the radiologists observations and with a little research understand their condition much better. Thanks to you IMI folks! One other thing: I've priced this procedure each year, IMI cost me and my insurance company less than half of what St Luke's would have charged me. Same price situation with another scan I have scheduled later this month. read more

I had my grandson who is 9 with me and I was 45 min early. She waited till almost my appointment time to tell me she was not a daycare. He got out of school early today, so he came in with me. It would have taken me 40 min round trip to take him back home, if she had a problem when I got their I would have had time to take him home. So she cancelled my appointment. I have has an MRI done every other year for almost 30. That is good money the have lost. I called my Neurologist, told her what jut happened and to move me to a different Imaging Company. I hope the secretary is worth the loss. I have loved working with them for all the years I have, but you still have to get past the person in front first. read more

I don't think I've ever written a yelp review on a medical facility. But I came here today for a procedure that was a little scary to me. I was nervous and uptight. They didn't react to my energy at all. They took such good care of me. Nurses and staff were kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and even fun! I reparation for a dye contrast I wasn't able to eat for 12 hours and I was famished. They gave me Keebler cracker and even a lean quisine! Best medical experience everrrr! read more

Terrible. They don't listen, don't take medical histories into account causing additional procedures and pain for their patients. Their after hours "on call staff" is worthless, will call you back several times over an hour just to tell you to go to the ER or wait until tomorrow through your excruciating, mind-numbing pain until we might be able to get you in. Hope you never have any complications or are in any way different from a medical textbook, because they won't help you. Better yet-- choose a different place to have any imaging done. read more

Every nurse, tech, receptionist, scheduler and doctor have been professional, kind, personable and broke everything down so I have a clear understanding as to what's going on.
