This little shop is renamed now but they still have the old sign. I stumbled in here after passing it countless times, how I never noticed I'll never know.this shop is fantastic they have an amazing selection of stuff and Archie the owner couldn't be nicer . Offered me so many samples of a anything I asked about that I finally had to tell him no more . Super place awesome owner. I went back 3 days in a row buying amazingly tasting items , we even had a sandwich that was no less than outstanding! Boy, this store is bad. Empty shelves, very poor deli and very bad location. I like European food and understand issues with supply chain, but you got to be innovative. Cook more premade food - embrace some of other types of food. Do anything but sitting in the middle of empty store. read more

Primarily an Eastern European store with goods from Poland, Ukraine, and Russia. There are some baked goods and lots of canned foods. They have a large deli case with lots of meats and cheeses. Hard to find items include beer and wine from Eastern Europe (Ukrainian beer from my father in law's home town!) They also have a freezer case with a wide variety of frozen dumplings (e.g. perohy / perogi) and two displays of bins of Eastern European candy (Ukrainian and Russian.) Service is matter-of-fact but not rude. A great resource in this area. read more

Lots of great frozen perogies and dumplings, hard to find European bread, lots of random Russian candies, teas, jams, cakes, and more! They have a decent selection of deli meats too, though I've never tried them. This is the only place I've ever seen Russian honey cake fore sale, and it was fantastic! read more

Rude store owner. Came in few minutes before closing and couldn't find anyone in "uniform" to answer our question about a pastry they advertised in the window. He didn't ask us if we needed anything or had any questions he said "we closed, make up your mind". We asked him about the pastry and he said "you come in at 7:00 when we closed about the pastry, we closed can't help you". First off, like I mentioned...we came in a few minutes (it was actually 5) prior to them closing...and since we couldn't find anyone to answer our question and he wasn't even in uniform, he looked like a customer, I was taken aback by his comments. He was rude and not customer friendly at all, I don't care if we even showed up at 6:59, you are to be respectful to your customers and just ask them to politely leave. We would have understood if he spoke respectfully instead of like an ass. He didn't even receive my business...but I'll tell you what, he just lost it. read more

I loveloveLOVE this place. I always come here for their eclectic chocolate choices, as well as some phenomenal deli meats & cheeses. Parmesan salami? Why YES. It's a great Russian place, but has some other ethnic gems as well. About 85% of the items I can't read the labels, so it's kind of a fun game to play while shopping, "What flavor is this?!" I highly recommend swinging by this place just for funsies, but also for some amazing salamis or high alcohol beers :D People working are always nice to me, I'm guessing they own the joint. Came across this place after having (kaiten) sushi next door. I like it here. It's a humble place - with a lot of unique Russian/EMEA region type goods. There's a full deli, breads, jarred stuff, chocolates, snacks, etc. I will definitely be back when I have more time to peruse the aisles! The lady at the counter was perfectly nice. English...isn't her language but she was able to tell me what I needed to know regarding what I was buying (I bought some "mysterious" snacks, haha.). read more

It is a great little store, same owner as in Bellevue. Definitely taste of motherland. We have been shopping there weekly for years. Nice selection of Eastern European fare and fair prices. As for the "rude" service please understand that it is not customary to smile all the time in Russia or Ukraine. Also, store workers may simply be shy of their English. read more

I LOVE this store, and everything they have to sell. I spent 2+ weeks touring Poland in September 2018, and found theInternational Market to very representative of similar stores there. I have never had ad service here, but know what I want when I come every other month or so. If I lived anywhere closer, I'd beat this store much more frequently! Nothing against QFC, Safeway or Central Market, because I shop there too, but if you want staples and regular food, go there. If, however, you want the really good, hard to find authentic food of eastern Europe, Ukraines, Russia, go to this place to treat yourself!! read more

Great russian store. I live just 6 minutes away from it. Nice owner! I don't know what are you people talking about. He was very nice to me. And russians dont born to be happy as all americans. Sometimes I get the feeling that I've been kidnapped by aliens and deposited on a strange new planet. I got that feeling while reading the reviews of this store. The people here are RUDE??? Are you kidding me? These guys are SWEETHEARTS! During all my many, many visits, I've never heard an unkind word, either from the owner (who goes by the improbable name of Archie) or his wife (whose name I never caught---I think she is not as fluent in English). They couldn't be more appropriate running this kind of store if they came straight from Central Casting. Perhaps the people below who complain about them are used to the kind of "customer service" one gets when speaking to a phone rep from a large corporation. "Thank you so much" for this, "thank you so much for that". You picture them giving you a ghastly smile, like a pack of hyenas just before the attack. Archie and wife are (gasp) just human beings. The deli case here is a garden of earthly delights. I have tried just about all of the meats and cheeses---the least of them are far superior to anything on sale to those at any grocery store, including Central Market or Whole Foods (and don't be shy, ask for samples). I love swiss cheese, which seems to be harder to find than other varieties. But not here. Archie has a cheese called Madrigal, which is now just about the only cheese I want to buy. And if you've never had halvah, take home a chunk that they cut to order for you from a big piece sitting on the counter. What can I say? A first class ticket to heaven. As to the prices, they are appropriate. Goods imported from eastern Europe don't swim over by themselves. Compare their value with Kraft Cheese and Oscar Meyer salami. And other fake foods. To sum up, if you are not satisfied with this store, you are either the reincarnation of Ivan the Terrible or loco en la cabeza. read more

They have great meats but everything is overpriced comparing to other Russian stores. I do not mind paying more for the convenience as I live in the area and at first was very happy to find a local Russian store. What I do mind is the store owner/cashier attitude, very rude and unprofessional. This alone will make me stop going there, unfortunately. read more

Rude owners, zero costumer service, feels like they doing you a favor by letting you in their store, overpriced Colby a lot compared to other Russian store. This place is wonderful!! Stopped by for the first time today and it is a fun place to browse. The meat and cheese selection are amazing. We picked up some bacon and came home and cooked it. By far the best bacon we have had in a long time. We will certainly be back!! read more
