Intero Real Estate Saratoga brokerage firm and JALEH TAGHIPOUR sold our NEW house at 14920 Sobey Rd Saratoga for 25% ($3,000,000) less than the asking price, and 20% less than the comp across the street (old house). She DISCLOSED DEATHS (SEE PICTURE) that had occurred MORE than 36 months prior to listing, whereas that's NOT required by law. She disclosed those deaths AFTER she met the buyer at the first open house! It turned off other buyers, and then she forced us to drop the price TWICE. Reader may verify price drops online. She kept the names of other potential buyers from us so they would not bring competing offers. We hired this agent because she was cheap (1.5% commission), but cheap costs us dearly. Beware of desperate agents as there's a reason they don't get listings. Early in the listing we decided to FIRE JALEH TAGHIPOUR and INTERO REAL ESTATE because she wasn't showing to the showing appointments, but they threatened litigation against us. Yes, JALEH AND INTERO Saratoga wanted to file a lawsuit against their own client! Department of Real Estate informed us that JALEH TAGHIPOUR is under INVESTIGATION by the Fines & Citation division (SEE PICTURE). In another transaction, we received multiple offers but then she requested (SEE PICTURE) another $26,000 (0.5%) in commission AFTER the offers came in, which is ILLEGAL. We've now spent five figures money in lawyer fees litigating against JALEH TAGHIPOUR and Intero Saratoga so we can recoup our losses. First loss of equity, and now expensive lawyer fees to recoup losses. Conclusion: If you have to hire Intero Saratoga and specifically, JALEH TAGHIPOUR, be ready for loss of your home's equity and have at least $100,000 in legal fee reserves to hire a lawyer. read more

We lived in our Saratoga home for 43 years. Jaleh Taghipour was one of our neighbors and our dogs became buddies so of course we became friends. In all that time she never promoted herself as an agent to us, she was just a friend and neighbor. Still, we thought the world of her and had always said in the back of our minds that if we ever sold it would be through her. Well, as the years went by it was finally time to make the call. It was one of the best decisions we ever made. I've always had respect for her experience and her knowledge of our neighborhood so I decided in advance to simply let her do her job and not interfere with pricing, counteroffer strategy, etc. My feeling is that if you believe in the pro you hired then let them do their job. Neva Mills the agent at open house gave us the worst experience ever, when went to an open house on 2nd July 2023, at Los Padres Blvd SANTA CLARA, CA 95050 and 'Neva Mills' the host at the at the open house was racist and worst at her job, we were not allowed to inspect the house properly also during the open house she asked questions like "what do you what" as if were were looking for something to steal like what the hell if she is there to host an open house we don't at least expect someone to treat people like this for house over a million dollars and there were few more who experienced the same and this is highly unacceptable. The racist lady also accused us of opening the house door at the open house which was already opened by someone, like what was she even expecting that we will buy the home without inspection it properly? read more

As of this week, my wife and I are officially homeowners! Susanna Wong was our buyer's agent and she did a FANTASTIC job throughout the entire process. From the moment we first spoke to her on the phone, Susanna was courteous and helpful. Going through the disclosures for the house was a breeze because she had done her reading. She showed us prices on comparable properties to help us decide how much to offer. I was introduced to Jaleh Taghipour through my brother who she had first met with at the home in Saratoga which we were preparing to sell in the coming months. We did not know of her or have any associations with any of her colleagues, friends or family so this was a cold contact. Upon initial review of her background in real estate and her track record of home purchases and sales in the very neighborhood where the home I was going to sell was located, I was very impressed-- asking price, days on market, and sale price of recent transactions were excellent. After receiving and reviewing updated documentation of her home sales and purchases in the area I concluded that she has probably purchased and sold more homes in that very neighborhood than any other agent. I had another agent in mind but decide to enlist Jelah as the selling agent for the property I was about to sell as there were no other agents I knew of with this level of expertise with this real estate market. She is very effective, efficient and knows the real estate markets very well. 6 days: Signing on as an agent to home listed. 7 days later: 7 offers on table, reviewed offers with her, 1 offer accepted. 10 days after offer accepted: escrow closed, proceeds received in bank. 23 days start to finish but could have been quicker if my personal schedule allowed for me to meet the notary to sign escrow docs sooner! At that time average days on market was about 14, but but because of her perseverance and the prevailing market conditions she sold the home in 7 days, asking price set about $200K over what I believed was the home value but did not question her and she brought a buyer who offered (and paid) over asking price!! Jaleh was always straight-up with me, no hassles with any of the details, and did it all in just over 3 weeks-- an awesome performance! I would not recommend using Jaleh Taghipour for your real estate needs. The back of her business card states integrity, professionalism and strong negotiation skills and these are all services that I don't feel we received during the selling of our home. From the very beginning I felt that she was very pushy and was not very concerned with our families needs. Examples: - She kept pushing us to take offers that were way lower then what we were looking for and would tell others that were looking at the house what the current bids were. - During an open house held at my home numerous items including make-up (put in a cabinet out of sight), jewelry (put away in a closet) and a wii were stolen (which had to be unplugged from numerous spots). Whoever had taken these items were given more then enough time without supervision to go through my whole room. Including my dresser drawrers and closet. Her response wasn't her problem. No accountability for the this when she should have been watching clients during this open house. - During the initial cleaning of the home the maid service she hired also stole our recycables and a couple items out of our garage. - After an offer had been accepted and the home was in the 45 day closing she allowed the client to call us personally and bother us non- stop for 45 days on when we would be out of the house and wanting to bring contractors in every other weekend while we were still trying to move things out. Her response well I don't know what is taking so long it didn't look like you had that much stuff. It should not matter how much stuff we have 45 days is 45 days. - Then during the last couple weeks the client whos offer we accepted broke into the house and when it was brought to her attention she did not care and said it was his house now he could do whatever he wanted when at this point we still had not received payment. These are just a few examples of things that happened during the selling of our home. I have many friends that are selling homes and also know some real estate agents in other areas and when I have told about our experience were appalled at what we went through during the course of our home being on the market. I am not putting down Intero real estate services as a whole but would not recommend this particular agent to anyone! read more

Before I found Jaleh I did some research on finding an agent who could sell my house for the asking price and as quick as possible. I knew that I am dealing with one of the toughest real estate market even though my house was beautifully remodeled. So I called bunch of agents and interviewed them including Jaleh. I had no prior referral for Jaleh and as a matter of fact I saw her sold sign in Saratoga so I decided to call her. Well let me tell you why I hired Jaleh; Jaleh is herself, she is humble, knowledgeable, professional and she is not a salesperson who is trying to impress you with some sale pitch or fancy words to get your signature on the dotted line. Jaleh gave me her honest opinion on my house value, neighborhood, current market dynamic and explained to me the advantages of listing the house at the right price. I right away felt like I am dealing with an honest agent who is a client advocate. She also offered me free post card advertising for my listing which was not offered by the other agents. So I decided to give her a chance and I am so glad that I did. Jaleh sold my house within a month at the asking price!!! Yeah all my neighbors were amazed and they were asking me who is your agent and how did you find her. I told them she is just a nice and simple lady who cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. There is also a lot of work that goes behind the scenes of selling a house such as advertising on numerous websites, staging the house, open house, and negotiation which were all taking care of by Jaleh. Jaleh puts all her heart and energy in your transaction and she makes sure you are a happy client at the end of the day. One more thing that you should know about Jaleh is that she is a highly educated individual and her tech background and work experience sets her apart from some college dropout agent who got a real estate license to sell houses. My wife and I leased a house that an Intero realtor, Kim Connor, sold for the owners. Well...when it came time to get our deposit back, Kim provided a fraudulent carpet cleaning receipt. I know this because I happen to use the guy that she provided the receipt from. At any rate, I emailed and called her and never received the courtesy of a return call or email. I then emailed Tom Tognoli (Kim's boss & COO of Intero). He said he would get back to me but never did. Bottom line...their realtor, Kim Connor is an unethical real estate agent and her boss, Tom, clearly doesn't care about what his agents are doing which clearly shows a lack of interest in their business and their brand. So our home has been listed for two months with another company. Yesterday, an agent "Marty Brill", with INTERO whose business card says he has more than $300 million sold showed up with clients to our place. No notice, coming into my home! It is explicitly listed in the realtor notes to contact us so we can take the dogs out. We live upstairs and our front door is three floors down. Met them at our living room door! His excuse was that he didn't print out all of the listing. I don't care if you didn't print it out, you're still supposed to read it. I let them in because it wasn't the clients fault. I've had a bad dealing with this company before and this experience solidifies that I'd rather not do business with them. read more

Without question Jaleh Taghipour is the best Realtor I've ever worked with (and I've worked with quite a few). She is professional, honest, hard-working, and a great negotiator. I sold during a strong market, so there was no question that the house would sell, but this did not mean that her job was easy. She dealt with probably hundreds of phone calls and emails non-stop for the week or so that the house was listed before we started taking offers. She could have just sat back and let the house sell itself, but she worked very hard on getting a no-contingency offer at the highest possible price. She arranged for a lender to be present at both open houses, and consulted with several builders to understand the issues of rebuilding or remodeling so she could answer buyers' questions. We got 10 offers, all of them over asking price, and the final price was way more than I expected. Jaleh gave a candid assessment on the house's condition as I was preparing it for sale. She understood the buyers' viewpoint and explained the house would almost certainly be torn down, which was a little sad to hear but was true. She saved me some money by telling me not to bother fixing some things that I was planning to fix, like the floors. During escrow, there were some delays on the buyer's end. Jaleh persistently but tactfully handled the delicate questions with the buyer to keep things moving along, without alienating him. She was prompt and clear in communicating the issues with me, both good news and not-so-good news. She followed up with some of the other offers to try to get a back-up offer in place, and she was honest in lowering my expectations on the price if the first offer fell thru (which it didn't). The entire process was as easy as it could have been. Jaleh is a fantastic realtor and I was very fortunate to work with her. read more

This review is in response to the previous review (3/22/2010) about Jaleh Taghipour from the seller who complained. I am the buyer in that transaction and found it hard to believe. To be fair to Jaleh and to the viewers, I thought to share with everyone the facts I knew for I'm the buyer of that particular house in Saratoga which the seller wrote about. We bought the house early 2010, while the market was still going down. At the time, Jaleh's judgment on advising the seller to accept our offer helped the seller to get the best deal possible in a declining market. It actually shows her experience in a dynamic market. We heard about the incidence of someone taking an item from a teenager girl's room during the very busy open house, but also learned that Jaleh made an offer to compensate for the kids loss. From contract signing to the closing date, we asked Jaleh (the listing agent) to ask sellers to allow us to do our due diligence, inspection and measurement during the contingency period. We thanked the seller for allowing us to do so. We did that twice, and about 1 hour each time, and always thought they were reasonable requests under friendly arrangements and the law of real estates. At the closing day after the house was recorded to our name, seller didn't show up to give the key to us as she thought the funds should have been is her account. But that was upto us, and the title is the one who will release the funds not us. We actually had to get in the house from a window, and this is when the house was recorded to our name. That's why Jaleh told the seller that "it was his house now he could do whatever he wanted". Given the circumstance, Jaleh showed her good knowledge and judgment, and did a great job for the seller and to keep the deal together. I'll definitely consider her as my agent when we will sell our house in the future. read more

Rick Weiss of Intero Realestate services is not someone you would want to hire to sell your house. There were several reasons why. To name a few he has a very lazy attitude. A few examples of that is him taking his time following up on potential buyers to the extent of not coming by and picking up cards or me having to call him to give him numbers of agents who viewed the property. He lacks key negotiating skills and won't go to bat to get top dollar for your property. He basically wants to do as little as possible. Part of his problem may be that he may try and take on too many clients and not give enough attention to any of them. An example of this is he actually called me twice within a short period of time and left the same voicemail twice. I'm not saying he sent a recording of the first voicemail, I'm saying he called me twice because he didn't remember calling me the first time. Which brings to mind another time where he wasn't giving the best customer service. I spoke with him for about 20 minutes one morning and then had to call him later that day. During that conversation he said "Did I talk to you earlier?" Like he didn't remember our conversation at all. read more

In direct contradiction to articles in some of your agents' newsletters about "how to prevent burglaries while on vacation," I was out done by Tom Ruan's need to avoid paying postage and leaving unwanted fliers by my front door. This is a review regarding Jaleh Taghipour with Intero Real Estate Services. My wife and I recently employed her services for the sale of our Saratoga home. We interviewed a few well known agents who "specialized" in the Saratoga housing market. To say the least, we were not impressed with the first couple of agents we interviewed - arrogance and ego seemed to be the trademark qualities possessed by them. We discovered Jaleh almost by accident - we received a "Just Sold" brochure from her in the mail. She had sold another home, not far from ours, same city, same school district, for well over asking price. That was a good enough recommendation for us to give her a call. Jaleh impressed us right from the start. She was quite knowledgeable about the market conditions in our area and had a very professional yet approachable demeanor about her. We had made it a point not to tell any of the prospective agents we interviewed how much we were looking to sell for, instead, wanting their unvarnished opinions first. The first agent wouldn't venture an estimate. The second agent came in low, even commenting that "you can get another agent to list it for more, but you won't get it." Jaleh gave us a number very close to what we were hoping for. She, unlike the others, was confident that we would not only be able to sell our home for our asking price, but most likely quite a bit more. We signed with her right then and there. She was a pleasure to work with, going above and beyond what any other agents had done for us in previous home sales. She was able to gently yet firmly impress upon us the need to remove some of our furnishings so the home would show better, and she was spot-on with that advice as well. The home showed beautifully and we had multiple offers over asking within two weeks. Even though we were quite sure Jaleh had other clients she was working with at the same time, she always made us feel as though we were her most important priority. She was on top of all of the paperwork and ALWAYS prepared to field whatever comments and/or questions that were thrown her way. She was even able to deal with our VERY nosy neighbors in a firm yet tactful and diplomatic manner. Our two Open House weekends went off without a hitch - we entrusted our home and its contents to her and she did not disappoint. Jaleh is intelligent and well spoken; in fact, her level of education is evident as soon as she opens her mouth to speak. I would highly recommend Jaleh to anyone considering buying or selling a house.
