I missed the small "No Trespassing" sign, and the gate was wide open. While I understand I should have noticed the sign, I was also a paying customer and had no intention of doing anything inappropriate. Instead of being approached with understanding, I was met with intense hostility, sarcasm, and even a threat that a gun could be pulled out. That was incredibly alarming and completely unnecessary. I apologized multiple times and explained that I had simply missed the sign, but there was no grace or professionalism shown throughout the interaction. Apparently it's a communication problem with the Insurance Company who scheduled the appointment and no Fault of Gerber Collision and Glass. I do recommend this business as they have gone above and beyond to take care of the problem. Just be sure that if your Insurance Company schedules an appointment, that you call first to verify. If you are scheduling with Gerber directly, it shouldn't be any problem at all.
