I missed the small "No Trespassing" sign, and the gate was wide open. While I understand I should have noticed the sign, I was also a paying customer and had no intention of doing anything inappropriate. Instead of being approached with understanding, I was met with intense hostility, sarcasm, and even a threat that a gun could be pulled out. That was incredibly alarming and completely unnecessary. I apologized multiple times and explained that I had simply missed the sign, but there was no grace or professionalism shown throughout the interaction. I returned the battery to Interstate and asked for a refund on the defective Interstate battery. The store said the battery was good, but they would test it to make sure. Two weeks later, I received a voicemail from the Interstate store saying the battery was indeed bad. Again, I asked for a refund, but they refused and gave me a replacement battery which at that point I didn't need. In addition, on the receipt for the replacement battery, they entered customer "did not like" for the reason instead of defective battery. This store is dishonest, unaccommodating and obviously sells defective batteries. Avoid at all cost.
