Finally, someone led me to call North Valley Fleet, I wished that I had called them first!! The tow truck arrived quickly along with a friendly and professional tech. The professional demeanor was carried over to the service rep at the front desk upon arrival. A Big thank you from FIG MOBILE FASHION for all hands that saved my business!!     This review is for an accident that occurred on 5/20. Unfortunately, I cannot give a negative star…read morerating to this group including the manager John Ram which he deserves! My wife's car was hit by an SRT light rail train in downtown Sacramento on the morning of 5/20/25. For some reason and possibly because SRT was involved in the incident, they called for a tow. Upon arrival, a very shady driver promptly told my wife they were planning to tow her car to their lot on Richards Blvd. He also said it would $550 to retrieve the car from their lot. I asked my wife to firmly let him know , NO TOW. I asked to speak with the North Valley Fleet Tow driver and informed the driver AGAIN that he was not to tow and that my insurance group had made arrangements to take the car to their repair facility. The next thing I heard was that the SRT said they were at fault and would take care of the tow charges to relocate the car out of traffic. They planned to take their body shop on Richards Blvd. Once my insurance company made arrangements to pick up the car from the Richards lot, I was told by the Manager John that the tow driver didn't have the proper documentation and wasn't even licensed to transport the car even though is onsite contact at Richards Blvd. reviewed the tow drivers docs as all correct. This was an out-and-out fraudulent comment. He is unprofessional and has a FOUL mouth, dropping F**Bombs on the phone. I simply hung up. This guy is never to be trusted! Once I got my insurance claims adjuster involved and John was promised his undeserving illegal payment, he suddenly changed his tune. He LIED to me about the driver's credentials just to apply pressure for payment knowing I wanted my wife's car out of his lot. Towing in general is a SCAM, they carry around police scanners in their trucks and as soon as there is a accident, they magically show up. Once they hook you up, you're on the hook for the payment! My advice is to stay AWAY FROM NORTH VALLEY FLEET SERVICES. If you see their tow truck, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES LET THEM TOW YOUR VEHICLE, YOU WILL REGRET IT! My hope is this helps someone else avoid this kind of unnecessary stress!

To begin, we flew out to Texas to pick up a broken truck after a month of waiting for the process to be completed, it had to be jump started to even get on. The truck had almost no fuel. The truck was not in good working condition, the check engine light came on after driving the truck the next day! They sold us a truck they that was not in working order!! The sales rep knew my husband needed a truck with PTO compatibility, but when we got back to California, the mechanic said the truck was not compatible for PTO installation. We then waited AGAIN TWO MORE MONTHS to finally get a truck that was PTO compatible, he apologized again and again starting that it was an anomaly after 19 years this had not happened! The truck that is PTO compatible THAT WAS ALREADY HERE IN CALIFORNIA was a little less expensive than the broken truck we picked up in Texas, WE ARE STILL WAITING for the reimbursement check for the difference after MONTHS of dealing with this nightmare! We will never recommend this company to any of our networks much less a friend or family member. I will also make sure to share my full review, complete with screenshot evidence, to the BBB and any and every other review site I can because of this company, we lost months worth of income for OUR FAMILY!! Absolutely horrible experience!!

    We requested forklift options from Valley Forklift back in October of 2022. We agreed to a lease…read morequote with Shawn Lyons on an electric forklift beginning in November. Here are subsequent facts: 1. Wrong battery charger delivered days later, 2. Correct batter charger was delivered weeks later, 3. While delivering the correct charger, a warehouse wall was significantly damage by said forklift, 4. Lease invoices were not issued until requested (in March) not consistent with our lease quote, 5. Repairs to an existing forklift starter switch was quoted at $70 labor and $40 parts, 6. After repairs to a starter switch and starter, total invoice became over $1000, 7. Asked to end lease on 2/7/23, didn't come pick up until 3/2/23, continued to invoice. I have full email trails of facts including plenty of excuses for delays, poor service, and unresponsiveness. My experience with Valley Forklift and Shawn Lyons has been one in which he will continue to sell, delay, and invoice until you say enough. I suppose it makes for good sales, but not a good experience. I am CEO of a company in Elk Grove and would NOT recommend Valley Forklift. Just spoke with the owner, Gerry Hudson, he was not accommodating at all. He said he would send over his insurance information to fix the damage his folks inflicted on our wall. If you have any issues with this company, you'll have to do all the work and follow up.

    Wasting money and time ,not responsible…read more I recently purchased a used truck from Penske and had a terrible experience. After only one week, the check engine light came on and I scheduled an appointment with Penske to have it checked out. They diagnosed the truck and found many codes, including an ABS sensor cargo wiring problem and back lights wiring issues. Instead of fixing the problem, they simply reset the codes and told me everything was fixed. However, the check engine light came on again shortly after. When I took it back to Penske, they told me that because the 15-day warranty had passed, I would have to take the truck to my own shop and send them the bill. It took three weeks for them to review the invoice and they left me with a $3,000 bill. Throughout the process, I dealt with Zachary Eberly, who was completely unhelpful and wasted my time. Overall, I would not recommend buying a used truck from Penske. Their service was slow and unprofessional, and they did not stand behind their product. If you're considering buying a used truck from them, I would advise you to take it to a mechanic before making your purchase.

If you or your company is thinking about leasing any equipment from #PENSKE..... DON'T! Especially if in the greater Sacramento area. It doesn't matter if you type and print a list, hang it from the DVIR clip on the drivers visor or it in their little touch screen in the office. They will not address, fix, repair or replace things on their leased equipment even if written up multiple times. Not to mention will any of the multiple "mechanics, techs or lube" personnel sign off on the service or DVIR items on the list. I've had an air leak in the system in which the truck will loose air in the system within a half hours time. They said it is within tolerance and is okay. Wether it's within speck or not, it's still leaking and needs to be addressed. I asked them on the last BIT if they have a smoke generator they could hook up and charge the system with. The shop and service manger both said yes, but it doesn't warrant the truck being down to do this. If this is their mentality at the West Sacramento location, is this a direct reflection company wide??? One last little bitch. Why is it that when the truck is brought in, it comes back dirty, with loose items in the cab and grease / oil stains everywhere. This time they changed 6 out of 8 drives, changed out the "new" front right rim with a used rim. Wire tied the front plate, left a screw and bolt in the cab with two wipe pads. Lots of greasy and oil prints everywhere. Lube guy didn't even bother to get all the grease fittings on the slack adjusters or steering components. ‍‍ I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE OR BUISNESS! #PENSKE #PENSKEWestSacramento #lousyservice #zeroshitsgiven @PENSKE

    My car got hit recently and it was my first time navigating an insurance claim and getting work…read moredone on my car. My insurance company gave me their preferred local shops and Caliber Collision was their choice, this particular location was closest to my home. Once I notified insurance of my choice of body shop, Caliber Collision contacted me right away to schedule a time to check out the damage and bring it in. They were flexible with me and ordered the parts and let me know when they were in so I could keep using my car as long as possible before dropping it off. Darcy kept me updated and they were great at sending text updates and calling for big updates. We brought the car in on a Monday morning and they went to work. I was updated early in the process that once the bumper came off they saw a few more damaged spots and they were able to order additional parts as needed, while working with our insurance. By Thursday evening our car was ready and we were able to pick it up Friday morning, the same week we dropped it off- which was earlier than expected. They made my first experience working with a body shop a painless one and my car looks as good as new. While I originally thought the damage was all superficial, I feel better knowing they were able to look a bit deeper, fix all the issues, and make sure my car is as safe as possible. I would recommend them after this experience.
