I was returning home from Apple Valley late last night and…read moreone of their tow trucks caught up to the vehicle behind me, tailgated him, then when that vehicle left the area, he caught up to me, began tailgating me, then when we appraoched the intersection of Sheep Creek Rd and El Mirage Rd, he suddenly decides to pass me ( who passes in an intersection?? ); and speeds off. I try to catch him to see what he speed was, and he was doing mph. The speed limit on El Mirage Rd is 60. As he approached the t-intersection that takes you back to Lake LA or the Gray Butte facility, this driver flat out runs the stop sign, barely slown down enough to make the turn. Friggin ridiculous! FIRE THIS CLOWN!

I am writing this review for my father a man that broke his hip last year and relies on a walker to…read morewalk In October, 1924 Countrywide towing sold him a battery and told him they would guarantee it for three years and if it wouldn't start, they would come out and start it with guaranteed for three years On Saturday, my father called 8: 15 in the morning Countrywide dispatcher called the address and said a driver would be here in 45 minutes. waited two hours and I called back and they said they would not service our area because the driver ruined his vehicle which I'm assuming wasn't a personal vehicle it was it Countrywide towing company vehicle and the company would not let him drive on dirt road. which caused a call Aaa back and file a claim against this sold a battery that they guaranteed for three years but to come back-and-forth with Aaa that this company is the company they contract with 10 hours Aaa could not provide the service with the contracted company country wide towing. This is how you take care of an 82 hope I never need to rely on their service. Specially, the dispatcher and the driver didn't even have the courtesy to call and let him know they were not coming. And I really do not believe when he was telling me about ruining the vehicle on pictures on the website show they have huge tow trucks and there's no reason they should not be able to drive up a dirt road truly truly unacceptable and quite disgusting when an elderly man is unable to help himself and needed help with the jump. This company took advantage of him and did not guarantee their service. Shame on them.

Started getting weird messages from my Mazda app, critical failure warnings? What the heck! When I got to the vehicle, error lights were flashing like crazy. The press to start wasn't working and there were bells going off left and right. While I was trying to troubleshoot, hubby called AAA who said someone would be over in 40 minutes. An hour later we called again and after a lot of stammering, they finally told us the original people they were sending had declined the job. Seriously? It wasn't C&D so this isn't their bad. After pleading our case that we were sitting in a dark parking lot with closed businesses and the area getting sketchier, they reached out to C&D and told us it would be 30-40 minutes. Again! We weren't in a remote area.. we were in the heard of Palmdale near the mall. Robert to the rescue! When the C&D/AAA truck pulled up, it was much earlier than had been quoted and Robert was kind, friendly, and made sure to get us home safe and sound on a Sunday night. He looks professional and gives a sense of confidence and safety.. I appreciated his excellent service! I'm still annoyed with the mess with AAA but once Robert got the assignment, he rescued us!

I had both the best and worst service with this company. We were involved in an accident about 2…read moremiles north of the Escondido Canyon exit on hwy 14 near Acton, Ca. The accident happened at around 7:30Pm July 26th and my husband called AAA immediately to get a tow. Within 45 minutes a tow truck bearing the C & D logo on it pulled up about 30-40 feet away and rescued a different stranded motorist. I went and approached the tow truck driver and asked if he was sure he had the right vehicle which he said he did. I told him we had called AAA and they told us it was C &D towing that was getting our call. He said that he was sure there was a truck on the way, but did not do anything to verify if it really was coming. We let another 45 minutes pass and then called AAA and learned that our call had been "canceled." Which to me means the company cleared it as if we had been rescued even though we hadn't so we then had to start all over in reporting that we needed a tow to AAA. AAA in itself was another issue in calling companies, apparently we were passed around to 10 companies over the span of about 8 hours and no one came until about 3 AM a driver named Daniel arrived. He was very friendly, cordial and understanding and loaded us up quickly and drove us about 60plus miles home to Tehachapi. My problem is not with him. He should be commended. But realize he was driving for C&D Towing, the same company that was supposed to get us off the hwy at 7:30 pm. And we got picked up by Daniel (no fault of his) at 3:am. This leaving people at the side of the road to rot from 7:30 pm to 3:00am is unacceptable. My hope since there were only 4 drivers in that area on that shift that C&D addresses the African American tow truck driver and reprimands him. This incident started at 7:30Pm on July 26 and ended July 27th at 5 am when we reached our home. If you get stuck with this company ask for Daniel as he is responsible and good natured and we know there is one driver who frankly does not care if you rot at the side of the road. I am angry at AAA but also this tow company should not have a driver clearing a call when he did not pick us up.

It got towed 1.5 miles to DEST-R&J TOWING ROSAMOND, CA 1733 SIERRA HWY ROSAMOND, CA 93560.........................1.5 miles for $535.50 was not changed. Got the supervisor who started yelling at me about a condition report (reports i do everyday and do NOT take an hour an a half) I attempted to be reasonable. They would not. They have your car and will not release or give up that vehicle until you pay for cost that they cannot and will not explain. Again if you value you wallet and money AVOID THIS PLACE at all cost. I've included the bills and highlighted area. They may have made a couple of bucks off this one. That is well worth the review for us..............hopefully it helps someone in the future make a decision. (still dont have that "condition report"......hard to do without a key that we have in Florida....) "We can get there in 2 to 3 hours..." "That'll cost $390." Then I called Toro's and spoke directly with the owner-operator! He knew exactly where I was stuck and how to get there quickly, and was familiar with the shop I wanted to get towed to. Around 20 minutes later, he was on scene, deftly backing his wheel lifts up to my truck to get it hooked up quickly and efficiently. Soon he was unloading me at the destination shop.
