My wife and I just happened to be in the area . We were in need of a 4 wheeler . When I opened the front door to the shop , the model I wanted was sitting in front . 45 minutes later I owned the 4 wheeler we wanted . The prior writer wrote about the stock issues and complete absence of customer service while at the "dealership" and I am in total agreement with those sentiments. My review focuses on the complete incompetence of the Service and mechanical end. So I bought a left over 2018GL Tour from Jacksonville Cycles and was interested when I was told Lake City Interstate Cycles was affiliated, which now makes sense. Got the bike home that day and recognized the GL1800 had hit & miss reverse issues. That is asking if their mechanic had looked the bike over, as I drove 100 + miles each way to trade my HD FLD 103 for the Wing, I was told he did. Needless to say I made the Service appointment, kept the appointment in the Florida pouring down rain, only to be told "don't expect much today parts take the longest" by the "Service Manager" so you could imagine I was thrilled, 2 hours later" that the cable needs adjusting. It will take 2 hours but he can't get to it today because we have other appointments already here and that was after watching Mr Service Manager take a stroll with a glazed look in his eyes. He returns to tell me, as the rains began again, that a second appointment is necessary could I bring it back tomorrow?? Forecast for you got it rain again. I declined. Then I discovered while cleaning the bike from the trips that it was put back together INCORRECTLY I took photos and retain. That is MY LIFE ON THAT BIKE. I STRONGLY URGE FINDING A MORE COMPETENT FACILITY FOR ALL ASPECTS OF YOUR RIDING LIFE. Filed a CA bbb complaint and still awaiting Honda's responses. I REQUESTED THEY PICK UP THE BIKE TAKE IT ELSE WHERE REPAIR AND RETURN IT. WE WILL SEE WHAT HONDA REALLY CARES ABOUT. read more

Interstate Cycles - Right side cowl and cover tabs outside loose 3 screws - Motorcycle Dealers Near Me - Lake City, Florida

I have been to this dealer a number of times over the years. Previous to this most recent one, it seemed like a decent dealership. I have had tires replaced there (I had a blow-out on I-75) and had no issues. However, this most recent visit had the telling features of a dealership that is not doing well. No used motorcycles out front, and when I walked in they had perhaps a dozen motorcycles in stock, all but one were Hondas. There was a single Yamaha in stock, despite the signs out front showing them to be a dealer of both Honda and Yamaha. Prior to this the showroom used to be full, and they also had a good stock of used bikes as well. I walked the entire way around the show room, looking at everything, then walked around the back area where they keep a minimal amount of safety gear. There were two workers there eating lunch. They nodded to me, but did not bother to ask if I needed any help. I walked through there for a good ten minutes without being asked a single thing and no one speaking a word to me before I hopped back on my motorcycle and rode off. read more

Great people at Interstate cycle. I bought a light bar off ebay and of course I'm missing brackets. Fighting with someone in the Philippines just gets me stressed out. So I drive over to Interstate cycle talk to the guy at the parts counter, told him the mistake I made buying from eBay. He then proceeds to walk in the back and brings an assortment of brackets for me to pick through. And wouldn't you know he had exactly what I needed, I said how much do I owe you he said nothing These are extra's they save when they don't use. I thought that was very nice. I've been a customer of this business for years now and finally thought that I should give credit where credit is due. After a recent visit to purchase some miscellaneous items for my dual sport I felt the need to shine a light on one of the amazing employees at Interstate Cycles. "Haley" in parts and service was the single best person that I could have asked for help during my recent visit. She was very attentive, welcoming, and most of all technically proficient at her job. She knew just what I was asking for and knew just where to find it. During the checkout process she was also able to answer several other questions that I had ( relating to the bike and its service intervals ) and was able to inform me on how I should go about getting it in for service. Haley truly is a credit to your business and definitely one that I'd like to have out front when customers come in. In short, she is a consummate professional.
