There the shifter would not go back into park so we could not get it started. The shifter linkage had broken. It was 6pm at night. We tried fixing this ourselves with no luck. It was getting to be about 9:30 pm at that time. Every tow company was busy that night and we were not sure what to even do. Justin was recommended to us by Dennis' Tow Garage and he promptly came out. Sybil told me she couldn't help us, but she knew Justin from Lashleys would know how to help. Wow ...like the other review...if we could give him more than a 5 star review we would !!!! More like a million. It was such a pleasure to have this young man helping us. He was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, determined, has great work ethic and a problem solver. Lasley's and Justin are prime examples of making America Great After dropping our car off at our local chevy dealer by 3:15 am, we are now back on the road. The first bill was for a lump sum $428, no breakout of parts and or labor, just tax and a "processing fee". The second time they had my golf cart, they had it for 3 1/2 weeks and I was told that I would have to pay for the windshield. The second bill was for $1,620 and this time the bill included a "credit card processing fee" and a "processing fee". Each time I contacted the office to find out the status of the repairs, I was told that she would find out and call me back. I never once received a call back with a status. In one of my calls to the office, I was given Andrew, the owner's cell phone. After Andrew did not respond to my first text, this is what he texted me after I contacted him again. "...I will not be harassed daily. My office handles these matters because I am out in the field". His office does not handle these matters. Then when I explained that I would not have contacted him again had he responded, he answered with this "I do not have to answer you on my cell. I have an office for you to contact. This is my personal number for emergencies. You have to speak to Ashley..." When Andrew finally delivered the golf cart, he gave me a copy of the invoice that showed a "parts deposit" of $500. My parts deposit was for $540.50, which included tax and another "processing fee". I did not get credit for that $40.50 tax and processing fee. This is no way to treat a client and really looking forward to reading his response on this one.

I was under the impression that the vehicle was in good working condition and was never informed of any previous mechanical issues. I purchased a "bumper to bumper" warranty and accepted the vehicle. A couple of weeks after taking delivery of the vehicle I broke down on the interstate and had to be towed. I do not know what the dealer did to get the car running but about 2 weeks later I again broke down on the interstate and had to be towed. This time the dealer told me I needed a new battery ($395) which I found unsatisfactory when I had just purchased the vehicle. I informed the dealer that I was not happy with the vehicle. I am a 73 year old veteran that suffered a stroke in 2022 and must travel to the VA hospital frequently. I cannot risk breaking down constantly. I began to experience additional electronic issues with the vehicle (blue tooth not working, maintenance lights coming on and off and the air bag failure light staying on). The dealer informed me that I needed a software upgrade for several hundred dollars. Each time I went to the dealer with an issue I was told that I needed to pay a $200 diagnostic fee to determine if the problem was covered by my warranty (it never was). I was in a bad situation as I fell behind on my auto payments as I kept having to pay for repairs. I asked the dealer to trade out the vehicle but he said he could not do that. I was searching through the glove box and found an envelope that contained all the previous owner's personal information (address, phone number, etc) and copies of repair invoices from this dealer for many of the same issues I was experiencing. I feel that the dealer knew this vehicle had serious issues but chose to resale it any way. It is my contention this dealer took advantage of me by selling a vehicle with known issues and a warranty of no value. As a result I have to surrender the vehicle with possible negative impact on my credit as I cannot afford to have continual repair costs and risk breaking down constantly. It is disgraceful that a dealer would treat a 73 year old veteran this way for the purpose of making a dollar.

So when I recieve a certified letter from a recovery towing company that my car was towed there by this shop I was shocked.This had to be a mistake.I went and paid to get my car towed back to my house it was at his shop under a warranty for a head gasket not anything else.The warranty company has confirmed the same when it comes to reaching out to them and no response. I WENT TO THE SHOP TODAY TO CLARIFY THIS MATTER.And the owner John Powers confirmed he had the car towed he said warranty company denied and said work was not covered he said he attempted to contact me .Remember I have been a customer since 2023 he had numerous ways to contact me I live 15 minutes away he lied to me about trying to contact me there us no email no text no voice mail no miss call and I confirmed with warranty company the claim was not denied.
