I called from the hospital to say I was upset & cancel a procedure because I was hospitalized. I was told call as soon as I got out... Dr Ngo mansplained to me the other dr didn't tell me to go cold turkey HE ABSOLUTELY DID! The other dr was willing to do gel injections in my knee without records & without examining my knee! Dr Ngo said oh I can see how much your low back hurts rattled off a bunch of terns with zero explanation & sent me to the desk to schedule??? Mvd bilateral radio frequency ablation on both sides of my lower back. If he asked I would have said my thoracic spine is worse & I have imaging on my phone! There was no interest in my records or actually examining me this seems beyond shady it seems dangerous. Thank god I detoxed i might have fallen for their "quick fix plan" even though there are RED LIGHT ALARMS EVERYWHERE I LOOK AT THIS CLINIC! Save yourself or keep your eyes open.... the every other week drug test coul be done on procedure days but they can bill ins for an extra appt if you go EVERY DAMN WEEK! The disrespectful & dangerous behavior is a serious problem & should be investigated

I have been to 4 appointments here for lower back pain. The first was a consultation, and I waited…read moremore than 90 minutes to be seen, and was seen only after I complained. the second appointment was cancelled by the office with less than a day's notice. The third went normally. The fourth and last was again cancelled by the office with less than 24 hours notice. It was supposed to be the RFL procedure. I had been told that I needed to book this on one of 2 days/week when my doctor was in this office (they have 4) and that I also needed a driver. When I showed up I waited more than a half hour, to finally be taken to a room where a nurse took my blood pressure, gave me the same instruction form they had already given me 2 weeks prior, and told me to schedule my next appointment for the procedure! I never saw my doctor. I told them I would rather be in pain for the rest of my life than come back, as they were clearly either incompetent or committing insurance fraud. My time and my driver's are also valuable, and now we had both taken time out of work for no reason. The worst part is they tried to blame me for the error, when it was clearly the office that made a scheduling mistake! One issue is understandable, but almost every appointment was messed up! DON'T GO HERE!

Just had my first appointment and cannot say enough great things about this facility. From my…read morefirst phone call to meeting the Doctor everything went smoothly. I was in serious pain and was seen on the same day I made the call, that in itself is amazing. Upon arrival, the staff was professional and very concerned about my condition. They listened closely as I described my ailment and told me everything that they were doing. When Dr. Blake came in I was very nervous and she recognized my heighten state. She took her time examining me and throughout the process she remained very calm and explained what she was doing. She gave me her diagnosis along with a follow-up treatment plan. The staff then proceeded to take care of all the follow-up appointments needed, from booking my MRI to calling my PCP to get prior approval. That has never happened to me with any other Doctor's office. Usually I'm the one making all the calls. I wish I could give Boston Pain Specialist a perfect 10 but 5 is the highest on Yelp. I totally recommend them if you are looking for caring and professional people.
