Over the weekend I had a couple questions and after I asked the second question, the owner literally canceled the call for Monday saying she no longer wanted to work with me because there were so many people who really wanted help and I didn't really want it. ?? I think what really happened is they messed up twice, we're about to mess up a third time and don't want to take accountability. For a woman run business to tell another woman to go take their business somewhere else is very telling. The nail in the coffin was that I went online directly with Blue Cross Blue Shield got a plan and it was cheaper than what they quoted me.

My wife had a bad case of the flu and we wound up at the ER late one night. She was seen almost immediately. The staff was pleasant and attentive. They listened, which I don't always see from hospital staff. The nurses were really wonderful - available and helpful. I can't entirely say the same about the staff doctor - I didn't get his name but he was a young guy who, while I'm sure is a very good doctor, didn't have the best bedside manner. And, when I had a question for him and couldn't get him to come to the room, I walked over to the desk where he was chatting about sports with others. When I tried to interrupt, he told me to wait and he'd see me when he was available. While I understand that everyone deserves a break now and again, being available for your patients is paramount. Clearly, not working and not being able to answer a simple question because you're talking about unimportant things is not what should be expected. Outside of my complaint about the doctor, we were very happy with how they treated us and cared for my wife. Of course, we have not seen the bill yet...
