When I moved back home from Huntsville, AL, I immediately call Intouch, I had rented from them on 3 previous, but that's when Lisa White was there she was professional. BUT, this is a warning, DO NOT, I mean NEVER rent or buy any property with INtouch or Ntouch property mgmt, they were in Decatur, GA, which populates when you search for them. But actually they moved, not why they failed to update, should tell you something right there. But little did I know that the home wasn't ready and they were stalling so they can prepare it but they need money, mine. So first we had to pay an application fee for every adult, once we paid $300 we were kinda of stuck. Then the stalling came that totaled 3 months and then they said we need you to pay the full month rent for February, even though my move in date was 02/15/22 and March we will prorate you. Now, I have paid the application, security deposit, and now instead of a prorated amount which we were looking forward to, was taking away with no option to back out without loosing money and time. Just to let you know during my 1 year lease, I experienced 2 floods, 1 gas leak and about 1 month 1/2 without a refrigerator for $1,895 a month and was never late, Oh and we clean the place and must as possible because the 2nd flood in late January and damaged the kitchen, pantry, bath, kitchenette, family room, bathroom upstairs, hallway upstairs, carpet in part of master bedroom, and down part of the steps. After all of that, they stole my security deposit, I believe out of retaliation, that wanted me to allow them to work on the house while we prepared to move, I said no. Also, every flood we had to move to a hotel. The 2nd flood was only for a few days because the pipe burst in the wall we didn't have water. Oh and in the midst of my lease, they get an entire new staff, now how you charging me for interior paint for $750, listen I was so stressed and my spirit was broken, I never put up any pics, we cleaned this place like I always do, and was always received my security deposit, but you said they charged $740 to have it professionally cleaned. Again, taking or stealing my deposit to pay for the flood damage in this house. WARNING****DO NOT, DO NOT, UNLESS YOU LIKE TO BE SCAMMED RENT OR BUY FROM INTOUCH OR NTOUCH PROPERTY MANAGEMENT. I am a tenant under their management company of my landlord intouch properties. And I just received a call and was threaten by the so call manager quetta. My landlord is selling her property and we understood that. I have a mom who had a stroke and a sister who is in the hospital on a breathing machine. With this Covid virus spreading and killing alot of people. She calling telling me that someone wants to come look at the property and I let her know I will not be there, and it is not a good time. I am back and forth to the hospital and she told me she can come to my house and let them. I told her it was not a good time for the second time. And Quetta told me she will just comethere and let them in. I told her she couldn't do that. Knowing about this Covid and how deadly it is she told me she didn't need permission to enter my house. Not to mention, She just called yesterday telling me the owner was selling and told me once she gets off the phone I am putting the house on the market. And became rude when I starting asking question. I am not sure the owner knows she has an employee who is treating tenants in this matter. There are many problems that has happened when dealing with Quetta. The heat went out in this house and my father and I both called intouch properties in Decatur 4 days straight multiple times and our call was ignored. Quetta is the one who suppose to answer the calls after hours. She told me that my parents should have sent in an email workorder and I told her my parents doesn't have an email. If there was a problem they have always called the office in the pass before she was ever hired. Quetta had the nerve to tell me, we never called the office. She asked me for the number that I have for office and couldn't say anything. Quetta is very disrespectful and I wish I can get intouch with the owner. There is just so much more to say but I don't have enough room. I just want the owner to know your employee is a bad representation of your company with a review score of a 2.5. I asked her why was she so defensive and rude on the phone. She told me, " you don't want me to tell you what I think of you." My family was never late on rent ever, but rent was increase without any acknowledgement and after six months, Quetta sends a letter stating my parents owe over 2500 dollars in late fees that including our rent we paid. Enough is enough. By law if someone threatens to entering your home without inviting them that is very dangerous for that person. Who makes threats like that and still has a job. Mrs. Stephanie Jester, I was told by people how your employee Quetta is and it is all true. She is bringing your company down, I have been trying to get intouch with you for a while now but I was told by another tenant under your company to go this route. Quetta is disgusting and karma is real. I read reviews about your company and how people have complained on her. I have gotten an attorney and called the police about the things she have said and done. I advice anyone you wants to use intouch properties management company if a Quetta answers the phone hang up. LANDLORD IS Scrooge. I moved out a month early, partly to help the next tenants (a family of 4 with 2 kids) who were rendered essentially homeless due to their lease ending. He knew they would have to move all their belongings in the summer heat to a storage unit and sleep on their family's couch until HE SAID they could move in. I moved out in plenty of time for him to do the minor cleaning and painting he had done so they could have moved in on the first. BUT instead he made them wait nearly a MONTH later and expected me to keep his house with power on for a MONTH after I moved out as the house literally SAT EMPTY so he could LINE HIS POCKETS. This rendered my refund to 0 for moving out early due to him charging me for power for the month I had vacated. Furthermore, he claimed my move out was a "GOOD MOVE-OUT". Odd, since he charged me $400 for a deep clean when only evidence provided was the blinds and window sills being dusty. Any other wall scuffs were covered under painting the exorbitant painting cost. He overcharged me for cleaning to compensate for the painters overcharging him. He says in every email that you can not hold him to anything he said in the email. His lease covers an additional $50 for every time he has to pick up the phone to arrange these services. He puts the ENTIRE supposed financial burden of preparing the house for the next tenant on the last tenant. After I gave him the entire YEAR of rent upfront THIS IS HOW HE REPAID ME. PLEASE do yourself a favor and rent from ANYONE ELSE. read more

Starting with Ms. Lisa White and Ms. Colleen they're always professional, friendly, courteous and attentive. They manage my property here in Atlanta while I reside in New York. All is fine when all you need them to do is take a check from your tenant, but the second you need them to go to bat for you during an eviction or other tenant situation, they are just TOO busy to adequately do the job. I definitely understand b/c they don't make much money on an eviction and there is a lot of work involved, but that is exactly when you need them. I have had to step in time and time again to personally handle my tenants and eviction process myself. Emails go days without being answered and I have never once spoken to the owner of the company without getting rushed off the phone after waiting hours/days for a few minutes of her time. The icing on the cake is that they inadvertently promised my tenant an extra 2 weeks in the house rent-free b/c they couldn't do the move-out inspection any sooner. Not once did they think to ask for my approval. I would have just taken matters into my own hands, once again, and done the move out inspection myself. 48 hours later, still have not received a response from InTouch as to why they put us and the tenants in this position b/c they owner and second in charge are both on vacation for a week at the same time. I mean, really??? In a nutshell, they are very nice people, but they just don't have the time or manpower to respond to issues as they arise. read more

As a tenant in a home managed by InTouch Properties I want to offer my best thanks to the staff but especially to Lisa and Carleen who have worked diligently to meet my needs. The homeowner is exceptional in getting things done and making upgrades but the work has to be organized, scheduled and followed-up by the InTouch team. Lisa and Carleen are thorough in making sure I am kept abreast on the who, what, and when of matters that concern the residence. They have always been courteous and professional whether in person or on the phone. In looking at some of the other reviews, which are a few years old I know that anyone and everyone can find something negative to say about any situation; but I can testify that the team at InTouch has improved in timeliness, effectiveness and results, which I am sure is due to their commitment for continual improvement, advancement and customer care. I look forward to maintaining the great work - response relationship that I have with Lisa and Carleen and I know whether you are a owner or potential tenant, if you are looking for solid customer care they can provide for your needs. At first my experience with InTouch was decent until we had issues in the place we were renting. They were all really unprofessional at times but I wrote it off because I liked the townhouse and location. I had to move because they could not get issues corrected and 1 & 1/2 months later I'm still waiting for my deposit back. I was hoping to get my deposit back early because of having to search for a last minute place and they kept telling me the owner has up to 30 days. Well clearly we are over 30 days and still no deposit. The owner keeps the deposit from the start of lease so in my opinion there should be some course of action taken when the owner goes over the allotted 30 days. Instead all I get is our hands are tied. To much BS with this company so if run into this property management service I suggest to run for the hills. read more

They rented a home to us in September 2012 for a 12 month lease. Found out in May 2013 the house had been foreclosed and we needed to vacate immediately. After doing research, I realized the home was either beginning the foreclosure process OR already in foreclosure when we SIGNED OUR CONTRACT IN SEPTEMBER! Our $900 deposit was NOT refunded, only communication we had in May was to still pay our May rent and to fax proof of foreclosure. THE ONLY WAY I FOUND OUT ABOUT THE FORECLOSURE was because we continued to receive the previous owners mail (which I thought was odd) and the mail began to be postcards from lawyers about this home going into foreclosure. I looked on a foreclosure list for Dekalb county and there was the address we had been paying rent for since September. I contacted Intouch Properties and she acted surprised and asked me to fax proof. I asked what should we do she said to still continue to pay rent to her and she would look into it. I didn't hear anything from her again. They don't care about tenants just about getting money. It was a horrible experience that we did not deserve to go through. Who has money to up and move? Pack our things (3 bedroom house), explain to a 6 year old boy why he has to leave his friends all of a sudden?? Just horrible. read more
