My own take is that she was usually a step slower than others to respond. And while everyone else went to look at the condo before getting back to me, she didn't. Both of these may be on account of the fact that she holds down a different day job. April 2025; Our recent experience with Mrs. Carter has been undesirable and unprofessional. We were…read morein contract negotiations for our dream / retirement home when the situation turned drastically bad. We were trying to close the deal on a home as Mrs. Carter was preparing to go on vacation. We seem to have become a distraction for Mrs. Carter. She trying to rush us in an offer that we weren't comfortable with. Due to the timing of her vacation and a lot of miscommunication, Mrs. Carter was not able to dedicate to appropriate time to communicating and processing our offers in our best interest as our buyers agent. Per Mrs. Carter's guidance, we went forward with a home inspection costing us an $1000. Mrs. Carter didn't ensure the seller/buyer documents were signed properly for put out money for the home inspection. Since the purchasing agreement wasn't properly and in a timely manner, the seller changed the agreed upon offer to a higher amount. In the end, we lost the deal and were out of $1000. Mrs. Carter should pasted our buyers case over to one of her counterparts. We have since requested to be released from the realtor buyer's agreement and terminating Mrs. Carter's services. Mrs. Carter has not responded to our request and reluctantly willing to allow us to move on with our live and home search. The customer/client should always come first.
