He was also well fed and Pat ensured all of my dogs food allergies were addressed and followed. There are some other (unnecessarily expensive) dog places around Sebastopol but I finally decided to use Lone Pine Dogs Daycare as my pets primary place because I could just tell that my dog was way more happier and well taken care of at Pats place. She is kind, caring, and seems to be very knowledgeable about all kinds of dog breeds and behaviors. The office staff also deserves positive feedback, they kindly changed my daycare appointment today at no extra cost when I couldn't make the appointment. Overall, Olivet Kennel is a professional run facility with an online booking system that still feels like a family business that you can trust. The kennel is clean and inviting. She had not been in contact with any other dogs so I am 100% certain she caught it at Olivet. They never did honor the daycare pass I paid for and told me "sorry but it expired". Seemed odd for them to be so stubborn about a policy after my dog almost died because of them allowing sick dogs to stay there. I paid over $2000 in vet bills because of them and my dog nearly died. We decided to do a 3 week board and train, and It was the best thing for him! He has settled down so much, developed a routine, stays at my side while walking/on leash and the resource guarding has gone down significantly too. Jacob not only trains the dogs, but trains the owner too. Proper leash handling, correcting bad behavior, phrases/words/tones to use and even tips to help us with our dogs motion sickness in the car.
