From the moment I arrived it was one of the best, if not THE best, experiences I've ever had there. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and during the time I was there. I never heard her complain or any of the patients complain! From her, to Jose who brought me to the CT room, everyone was friendly and helpful! I'm bad at names so I can't remember either hers or the nurse who helped me make an appointment for an MRI but they were outstanding! While I obviously cannot say whether my doctors office took a long time sending the order in or it took this place weeks before calling to set up an appointment. I get a voicemail around a month after visiting my doctor. Had to wait until the next morning to call back. The earliest appointment was 18 days out. I took it, they asked their questions, told me to fast at least 4 hours ahead of time. Day of the appointment? I drive just over an hour to get there. Have to wait while they were trying to look me up, only to hand me paperwork to fill out so I can make an appointment? Of course with lack of sleep, frustration, all the symptoms that brought me here. I went off; then took off. Only time will tell; and if my eyes are a new symptom? I'll be ending up in emergency way before I get a scan. read more

I had a great experience here. Victoria and Verna were excellent with check in and check out. Jade was exceptional in performing the CT. The team in the back went above & beyond to get my orders situated and insurance straightened out. Completely positive experience from start to finish with professional empathic employees who had great bedside manner and great care for patients. I've had imaging done also at UF and DIG, and this was definitely the superior experience. They care about details and accuracy here and it makes a world of difference. I have been here (Gainesville office) a couple of times and always received professional treatment. starting with the front desk. My Dr scheduled an MRI but bc Im claustrophobic they invited me to see the machine ahead of time. Dolores was wonderful, informative and caring over the phone and then in person. When I said I couldn't do it, she called back to give me extra recommendation. I also visited for a nuclear test, and Candance was INCREDIBLE! patient, caring, friendly. I cant say enough how grateful I am because of her kindness, I was able to conquer my fears and endure the machine. if I have a preference, I will choose going there! read more

I explained to the front office that I am mildly claustrophobic after my last visit here and I needed my brother as support with me. from the moment she called my name to go to the back, and my brother & I spoke to her, her demeanor, turn evil She refused and was adamant about he has to wait in the lobby. I was nervous about having to get another MRI since the last one I had was miserable. Now I am Extremely claustrophobic and I have to have medication. when I left there, I was very distraught. It took me 15 minutes to get my composure together with the help of my brother before I was able to leave the changing room then she want to let him come back there, but he came to my aid. No thanks to her. For these reasons : She made me feel very unsafe, Not cared for, and extremely comfortable, Very negative in her tone and energy. forceful, abrasive with a bad attitude. After the entire process, I have no plans ever return back to in Invision because of the back floor manager. this is how she addressed herself as the back floor, Manager or Supervisor. I can't remember her name but it's a very unusual but she's African-American. I don't have a problem with the front end staff at all they were phenomenal.. read more

Incision in Gainesville Florida MRI. Ms Wanda was so so patient and gentle with me. The experience was superb, headphones, she put Christian music, eye mask. When I was going to panic, she calm me down, she cares for the patient. Thank you INVISION for hiring Ms Wanda. read more

The staff was unprofessional in their communications and scheduling of my procedure. They also failed to provide thorough explanations or instructions. There was no mention of potential risks with the outcome of the procedure. As a result, my surgery is being delayed. I do not recommend Invision Imaging nor will I ever use them again in the future. read more

Competent and caring technicians. Good, up to date equipment. Waiting period very reasonable. If only the front desk weren't so grumpy, I'd give them a high 5. PRO TIP - when they tell you they're located right behind the Emergency Room at North Florida, don't make the mistake I did . . . They are NOT in the hospital. Drive past the hospital, through a four way stop and past a large parking garage. Turn left and then right in front of you you'll see their large sign. Ample parking. Highly recommended (except for the clerical staff). LATER UPDATE: I called to ask about getting a copy of the MRI - they were wonderful. Available the next morning, at no cost. Amazing service! Invision provided me with the best medical treatment I've ever had (outside my family physician). By far the best of imaging services anywhere. Unfortunately I've had some experience with mostly x-rays and MRI's. They have just about everything here that's available too. The BEST part of Invision is the staff. They took their time to explain everything to me. They have a "no-surprise" way of doing a fantastic job explaining everything from the financial end to the procedures. I had a CT scan performed here. When I returned to my referring doctor for the results I was told that everything looked normal even the scarring from my hysterectomy. I have not had a hysterectomy. I had to pay extra to have another CT scan done as I have a history of cancer and my wonderful doctor wanted to be thorough. When I discussed this mistake with the staff at Invision and requested they not charge me for the CT scan that was read incorrectly because I had to get another one and pay over $300 out of pocket, I was sent to collections. I shall never go back. Thankfully for them and their insurance, nothing major was found. read more

I read the other reviews and had some concerns but I found the facility was excellent, parking room excellent, and most of all the friendliness, courtesy, and professionalism were excellent. I have not received my results of the bone scan that was preformed but I wanted to give my thanks for all the personnel that were great. read more

The most horrible ct scan EVER - I have been to the facility many, many times, but this was the first CT. I was not told about the contrast injection. I was cold, and the needle was difficult to pierce the skin. The technician was obviously in a rush and did not listen to me when I cried out in pain after the brutal IV application, then when I continued to cry tears and say to her "this is HURTING me" while the solution was being pushed in, she just kept on going and berated me - not once stopping the procedure to address my pain and discomfort, then rushed me out of the building, when clearly I was in shock - she physically "guided" me out of the room, showing me the EXIT sign. No compassion, no empathy, I left shaken, in pain, hyperventilating, and in mild shock, which subsided after 3 hours. I was also scolded by the technician, saying "I have no explanation why you are in pain, I do these tests all day long". Well, enough is enough - that woman needs a new job in the torture industry. I am not letting this go. She is careless and uncaring. I worked in medicine - this was totally unacceptable. My husband witnessed the whole thing. read more

Will piggyback on Maureen's review; perhaps management just needs to hear from patients. The young female MRI tech & older female CT tech (especially the latter) & the young women who walked me to both exam rooms over a 2-day span were wonderful; I was in 2.5 wks ago. The front counter help definitely needs some 'help' in the area of friendliness. The woman who initially 'greeted' me (& who sees patients at the first desk on the right as you leave the waiting area) had the wrong attitude/personality for her position. She was not friendly; she behaved as though my presence was not welcome; & not once did she smile. However, on my subsequent visit the woman whose desk is beside her's (nearest the smiley pic) was wonderful. She was friendly, outgoing, & a pleasure to deal with. The long-time female employee directly behind her desk was even more welcoming! Both represented the company extremely well. I chose to have my testing done at Invision. Should I ever require testing again, it is my hope I return to a 100% friendly & professional staff. read more
