Dunno why there would have have been a need for a "discount" as it's all a flat rate.

Convenient location (on the #1 Muni Bus line). I walked in and saw a huge number of people who were seated and waiting. I checked in on the upright kiosk. Done. Then I took the initiative to speak to the woman sitting the check in desk. She was a blood draw pro herself (I know there is a special term for this). She said they take walk ins. I said I had an appointment. I got to go ahead of all those walk-ins! Huge+! I had brought in my doctor's order/paperwork (although my doctor said the order would be transmitted to Labcorp; I've learned that it's expeditious to have it on hand). Paid a co-pay. Got invited into a room. The technician took the samples. Minimal discomfort. She was a PRO! Done and out the door in less than 10 minutes! Best to have an appointment if you think you're time is valuable. Imo: LabCorp technicians will help you get in & out; you just have to set everything up right.

They didn't call me until after 2:12 to see what I needed today and copy my insurance card. I finally saw someone at 2:22 for one blood draw. That's almost an hour since I walked in. WOW I also saw people who were waitlist after me got because you can see the board got called before me. The people are nice. They're just very into their computer and the doctor's orders. Prioritize the appointments is my recommendation. Because what's the point of making one!!!!!!!!

The people behind the front desk are always frazzled & abrupt with everyone around them (patients & coworkers). I have always thought that perhaps it's because they're busy, however my experience yesterday points to the source of the angst being the people behind the front desk. Yesterday was the first time I had an appointment at the 7am opening. I got there at 6:45am & checked in electronically. I was out in front waiting when the door opened. The male person behind the front desk was already barking at people. I let him know I checked in electronically & was ready. He said "Your paperwork is over there", pointing to a window between reception & the blood draw room. I assumed that meant that someone would call me in when they were ready for me. I sat in the waiting area, and saw my name on the monitor as checked in. Other patients were called in. When my name disappeared from the monitor but no one had called me back, I went to the front desk to inquire. The male person was busy, so an Asian woman asked what I needed. I explained that I had checked in online, saw my name on the monitor & then it disappeared. I wanted to make sure I wasn't missed. She asked for my name & told me I didn't have an appointment at that location. I showed her the email confirmation & my order. She said I hadn't checked in then, asked for my ID, grabbed it out of my hand, took it to the kiosk in the waiting area, checked me in there and came back. At that point, the male person asked what I was doing, and said "I told you, your paperwork is over there", pointing to the window next to his desk. I said "I don't know what that means. I was waiting for someone to call my name." Both of the people behind the desk then yelled at me that it meant that they were ready for me. I calmly told them that it would be helpful if they would express that clearly, as I don't work there and don't know that the position of paperwork means I should go back into their HIPAA-protected work area. This entire exchange happened in front of what was now a full waiting room. Another patient trying to get help from the male person behind the front desk said to me "Wow, I can see how this would be pretty frustrating." My response was "They would benefit from giving people clear instructions." At that point, the technician took over interactions with me. He was very calm, friendly & chill. He apologized for the behavior of the people at the front desk, and acknowledged that the guidance they gave me was very vague. The rest of my appointment was great. My tech was easily the most skilled at blood drawing. He had to take about 15 vials from me, and I literally felt nothing. Not even a pinch. We had a lovely conversation. I was very grateful for the contrasting energy he brought to my experience at this location. It felt almost as if he & the other techs were trying really hard to counter the rude people up front. The two front desk people could use training on clear communications, and working with people respectfully. People are not getting lab work because they're in great health. This is a population who is often navigating challenging health stuff. Encountering was appeared to be self-imposed disorganization & lashing out disrespect is a pretty awful & entirely avoidable situation. My lab tech deserves recognition / a promotion for both his technical skills, but also the untrainable power to connect with the humans he's working with, respectfully, calmly and kindly. I've been to the Labcorp Mill Valley location & the vibe was super easy & mellow. None of the angst of 2233 Post Labcorp. It doesn't have to be this way. Lapcorp needs to start managing the people behind the front desk. They either need to be wildly retrained & replaced entirely. I've given this full review to Lapcorp when they requested feedback today. And I invited them to reach out to me to further discuss. I'm not holding my breath. In the meantime, I'll make the super inconvenient & more expensive trip over the bridge to Mill Valley going forward. The location convenience of 2233 Post Labcorp isn't worth getting verbally abused by the front desk staff.

I needed labs for my pre-surgery requirements and the earliest appointment was two months away. I did a walk in at the Ocean Avenue location and the wait was four hours long and packed with people. I decided to take a chance at Noe since I was fasting, and they were able to get me in right before their 11:30 am lunch break. The sign outside says it's "appointment only" but if you check in at the machine inside and say you'll wait, they may be able to do it if not too busy. The female phlebotomist was also working the front desk and was very kind and patient. She was personable and didn't lose her cool despite the influx of patients. I really appreciate her squeezing me in. The other male worker was processing the labs in the back as they do that on site. He was hustling too. This location is much less stressful than others. Appreciate their hard work.

Friday afternoon. 1/30/2026…read more Super slow service even having an appointment!!! Appointment told me to arrive 15mins early before my schedule time and I did. I got a ticket when I arrived, the ticket I got have 7 numbers ahead of me meaning it would be awhile before I can check in. I was not even able to check in after my appointment time has passed! They didn't move a single ticket number for 15 mins. Later I heard ppl with appt does not have to get a ticket, they should have clear instruction of that. Because the first thing you see when u walk in is a ticket machine telling you to get ticket, no where it mentioned ppl with appointment does not need ticket other than just waiting in line. But for today's situation it doesn't matter much because the line nor the ticket calling does not move much. Anyhow I was not even able to check in at the counter 20mins after arrival (that is only because I waited in line instead of waiting for my number to be called, otherwise it doesn't even look like they will call my number after 40mins) And at the end I got my blood drawn 48mins from arrival time. Seriously my blood draw process took less than two mins in & out. So I wasted 46 extra minutes of parking for something that only took 2 minutes. What's the point of having an appointment????And what's the point of going there 15min earlier than appointment time????? They let people without appointment for "drop off" to cut ahead of people with appointment and people with ticket waiting. If it was a simple quick drop off it's definitely ok, but it was actually not quick, it took him 15mins to handle a person with a "drop off" and they stayed at the window to process paperwork's for at least 15mins just for a drop off. Very unorganized!! Very slow. Only 2 workers here, and they are both Slow. They should have prioritize ppl with appointments and arrived early instead of letting walk in patient going ahead of ppl that has an appointment. Otherwise it's won't be necessarily for an appointment then.
