i went to Inviting Smiles last month for a regular teeth cleaning. I was given false information about the condition of my teeth, and the need for a deep cleaning plus a bridge replacement. The charges would have been over $5800. I returned to my previous dentist, Dr Egger who is now living and practicing out of state. He had been my dentist, along with Dr Surbeck for over 40 years at the same facility. They are extremely honest, professional and efficient dentists with stellar reputations. Most of the positive reviews at inviting smiles were attributed to these fine dentists. When I went to Dr Egger for a second opinion he said that any additional work was totally unnecessary. His hygienist told me that also. Dr Olga's hygienist said my pockets were mostly 4's and 5's. Dr Egger's hygienist was very thorough and said they were 1's and 2's. I was actually not surprised at the drastic change in the numbers as I did not feel that Dr Olga's staff was being conscientious nor honest. Dr Egger said that my original bridge was still strong and stable and did not need replacing. I called Dr Olga and told her of my visit to at Dr Egger. Her response was that the standards were lower for care and training for hygienists. I responded that Dr Egger had always hired quality, professional and extremely competent staff. She then said that I needed the deep cleaning due to my past history. She remarked that in the past that I had gum issues. I explained that it was periodontal cleaning in 1969, when I was a college student over 50 years ago. She continued to say that she still would replace my bridge and do a deep cleaning. She said that Dr Egger was only telling me what I wanted to hear about not replacing my bridge. I told her that he was a moral, extremely well regarded dentist who would do no such thing. He had even scheduled two hours for my consultation and work if that was needed but he said my teeth needed no such work. Dr Olga not only disregarded the new and complete information from a professional, one whom had built the most reputable practice long before she had arrived there but slandered his name and integrity. That is my main reason for submitting this. Dr Olga Lhavaty LaPosa still has his photos, reviews as part of Inviting Smiles and on the Facebook page, often giving a false impression of her services. I hope that this will be corrected soon. read more

I had the worst dental experiences of my life at this practice. Dr. King was really rough with my mouth, even cut my cheek with an instrument and was super cavalier about it. He also kept touching my shoulders which made me uncomfortable. The temporary crown they made me went too down into my gums and super irritated them, so I was in immense pain, and had to come back and have it remade. They also left a bunch of material in my teeth which I was picking out in tiny pieces for days. The filling they gave me was too close to the nerve, and I had to get an emergency root canal. Then they yanked me around for a month saying the impression they took wouldn't work to make the permanent and I'd have to come back, then they said it WOULD work, but I had to wait 2 more weeks, but when I finally came in, they couldn't place it because it was so poorly made. Finally Dr. Eggers stepped in and recommeded I be refunded for everything -- hopefully that will go thru but in the meantime I am out the money. So much time, energy, and money wasted, and so much pain and discomfort. Horrible! read more

I had the worst experience ever with one of their dentists ( I think her name was Dr. Dabby). I went for a routine cleaning, and she suggested a crown on one of my molars.I told her that it is not bothering me and she said that the tooth is in a really bad condition. She attempted to put a temporary crown and I was suppose to be back for the permanent one after the weekend. I was in pain and agony all weekend. I went back to see her and she said that I need an extraction now. She wanted to refer me to an oral surgeon for the extraction. I insisted she does it herself since she was the one who suggested the work on a tooth that wasn't bothering me at all. During the extraction procedure, she struggled for over an hour to remove the tooth, later one of her male partners cam over and removed the tooth in 30 seconds. Two days later I had pain again and ended up suffering from an infection and dry socket .I had to go to the emergency clinic for some antibiotics. Avoid this place at all costs. They only care about money. Patients care and providing quality care is not in their vocabulary or work ethics. read more

I do not recommend this place at all! My mother had the wrong tooth extracted and when I asked to speak to the owner or director of the clinic to discuss my mother's situation they never called me back at all instead they took all of the money out for the services the same day of procedure even for work they had not done yet. Dr Robles speaks broken English and patients should be aware of this . I strongly believe there was a language barrier that caused miscommunoication that led to the problem read more

We will not be going back to this office and it is sad since it was such a great office when Dr. Egger owned it. We decided to give the new owners a chance so our son went to see them and was told that he needed 5 fillings. He has never had a cavity before so we decided to get a second opinion. I knew it was possible that he may have a cavity since he was a bit lax in brushing at night. He went to another dentist with a good reputation and we were told that he does need 1 filling for a small cavity. It is not on any of the teeth that the dentist at this office claimed had cavities. So he almost had a bunch of unnecessary work done on teeth that have no cavities. And for what? All that I can figure is to make money. Very sad. We won't be using this dentist any longer. I will say that the office staff were nice but one has to be able to trust the dentist to do what is right. read more

OK for starters I have been and I'm a patient of Dr. Eggers before this new doctor Dr. Olga bought the practice and so I was obviously used to how they used to take care of patients before these new people came in. However it was a different experience than I expected but worse than I've ever had. First off, they didn't rinse my mouth or anything before starting to clean and instead of brushing my teeth they started by drilling and scraping with no water and it was really uncomfortable and I didn't even get any warning about it. Another problem was that the hygienist didn't communicate or talk to me the whole time she was cleaning my mouth. Also I didn't appreciate the fact that when I had to finally see the doctor I had to lay and wait for at least 15 to 20 minutes even though the hygienist had asked the doctor if she was ready for an exam and she had said yes. On top of all of this the whole reason I had gone back for this appointment was to have my gums and tissue looked at but instead they did x-rays and did not do the periodontal charting which they normally would do to tell me my numbers for my gumline. They did unnecessary x-rays as I had just had x-rays done last September. Then the dentist talked about crowns in the future even though my teeth are all fine and I have zero pain or discomfort. On top of all of this when the doctor decided she didn't like how I was asking questions about my appointment the lack of communication and the fact that they wanted me to come back in another four months even though I've been doing really well with home care and my gums have been doing better. The doctor dismissed me in the middle of me talking and said it was nice to meet you your teeth are great bye I'll let Jennifer finish up with you and then just walked away so then I really felt upset because she wasn't even trying to build any kind of relationship with me after the first time meeting with me. I also felt like I was trying to be taken advantage of with extra expenses that I don't need like extra appointments and a crown that I've never even been told before by any dentist that I might need.Overall it was a really terrible experience I don't feel comfortable going back and I'm usually really easy about these kinds of things so the fact that I'm even posting this review says some thing about how bad this experience was.
