Re: coronavirus and severe asthma: "We all need to work together to slow the spread of the new coronavirus. If you're having trouble wearing a mask, try a different fabric or fit. Wearing some kind of breathable face covering is better than nothing. According to the WHO, medical masks when worn the right way do not cause you to breathe in more carbon dioxide or reduce your oxygen levels." So it won't reduce your oxygen intake but will somehow give you more asthma? For the record I HAVE SEVERE ASTHMA AND WEAR A MASK. This is what was so confounding to me. Somehow Miriam thinks it's ok that patients are breathing in her lobby with no masks, and that she should do talk therapy for hours with no face covering. Face shield will work too. Not cool what a waste of my time.

I was initially apprehensive about seeing a male therapist as I worried that I'd be embarrassed to open up to him or that he wouldn't understand me. I was wrong. From the first meeting he just told me to say what was on my mind, I did and it was great and I left feeling like I'd actually done something that was helping me move in the right direction. He's friendly, kind, welcoming, a great listener, I don't know how he does it but he remembers pretty much everything, he's funny and you feel like he genuinely cares about what you have to say while helping you realize the reasons why you feel and act the way you do.
