Quite spacious with separated areas for Leg equipment/squat platforms, glute area, and even a separate floor for boxing & a posing room. Had a hell of a workout on my visit at Smash Fitness. At one point, I had an encounter with another couple at the gym where I was threatened. I immediately brought the situation to the attention of the front desk staff, but nothing was done about it. After that, this couple continued approaching me in the parking lot almost every time I would come to the gym. I shouldn't have to feel uncomfortable or scared simply walking into a place where I'm paying to work out. My gym time is supposed to be my time to focus, relax, and take care of myself--not a place where I have to worry about being approached or threatened by other members. I expected the staff to take my concerns seriously and help make the environment feel safe, but unfortunately, that did not happen. I also ended up leaving a Google review about my experience, and afterward, the owner had the manager approach me about it to remove it. Unfortunately, I felt that I was given inaccurate information about much of the situation with a male figure that was taking photos from his phone! Over the years, the gym has also become extremely overcrowded--almost unbearable at times--and it became increasingly difficult to get a workout in without having to wait for equipment. More recently, I had an issue with the new payment system. I had cancelled one of my credit cards that was being used for my gym membership and forgot to update the payment information, which was my mistake. I contacted ABC Fitness, updated my payment information, and paid the amount that was owed. The payment went through on my end. Then I received another call saying that I still owed money. I was confused because I had just paid, so I paid it again and updated my banking information. I also cancelled my membership, and I was told that everything had been taken care of. Then ABC Fitness contacted me again. At that point, I was understandably frustrated, so I called the gym directly. I was told that I needed to come in and pay again--even though I had already paid twice and had cancelled my membership. And to this day, ABC Fitness STILL continues to call me regarding the payment. I never had these kinds of issues until they switched to the new payment system. After nearly 4.5 years of being a member, it's extremely disappointing that this is how my experience ended. I haven't been back since.

I showed up to the facility about 10 minutes early and was taken care of immediately. Facility - huge compared to my home location. I was given a tour after signing up and besides the size, the facility was clean and well maintained. Trainers - Kira and Erin were both awesome. They were motivating and were coaching folks on form if needed. I really liked the resistance bands added to the row machines and the exercise dice at the end added a nice twist to the class! I went in for an intro class and had a lovely and sweet instructor who really got me excited about IM:X! While I'm used to Lagree, not this version of a workout, I found this to be the only thing near my parents house when I have to be down here a few times a month, so I explored it. I even went back a second time for the intro (at the companies request) to bring a friend (which as a business owner-- is a huge plus to have a non-confirmed client bring another person in). However, upon my second visit the owner was the instructor and it was nightmarish. She was unwelcoming upon us entering and once we got into class it was way worse. It started with her asking us our names and then blurting out "I'll never remember that.....especially a name like THAT" when referring to my friend's non-traditional non-American name. Throughout the class she made us uncomfortable by complaining about her daughter, the temp of the room, and the music. She ended up cutting off the music so it was just silence and her voice, which was odd. While doing the workout we let her know of some limitations and she said "what do you people do outside of here in your real lives?"... as if our minor limitations were not normal. It was not only uncomfortable but oddly mean spirited. At the end of it all we were ready to bolt and leave based on this experience, with me profusely apologizing to my friend for bringing her and exposing her to such negative, unwelcoming energy. It was nothing like my first time there. As we finished up the owner said "I don't try to sell anyone so if it's for you it's for you, thanks buh bye" versus even proving info or asking for feedback. Since the owner made it so odd, we won't be returning and instead bought a Lagree Miniformer to work out on versus paying someone to tell us they'll consistently forget our names and that our limitations are "weird".
