I love Ippudo - when I saw a location while exploring the city, had to stop in for dinner. Service - 3/5 had to follow up twice for my water and check each time. Wasn't particularly packed that evening either. Food - 5/5 consistently delicious

I had the akamaru modern ramen and it was amazing. So flavorful, with just a bit of a spicy kick. The pork was so tender it practically melted in my mouth and the thin noodles were delish. I literally ate every last drop of that ramen. They also had a matcha mojito which was BOMB. And the waiters were all very kind and helpful! (I went to the Goodge st location but I couldn't find that one on yelp so I'm leaving my review here)

This Ippudo is sandwiched between two other ramen places and I only came here because the other two had lines at 7:30pm! I tried the tori shoyu tamago ramen because it's unique the London or the restaurant, so I couldn't get it in SF or NYC. The broth was alright but not as good as I'd expect from Ippudo. I liked the egg but felt the overall dish lacked umami or something. Service was not very good, didn't ask what consistency I wanted for my noodles. Would not come back.

4 out of 5 Stars. The broth will be different in every shop. Definitely will not be like the ones in Japan. Enjoyed anyway.

This Ippudo lives up to the hype. Beautiful decors, good service, excellent dishes! Striking decor. Comfortable noise level. Note the doors toward the street are all sealed. The real entrance is on the plaza side. Tonkatsu ramen is most excellent especially the soup. Next time I would skip the edamame (it's good but nothing special).

Great ramen in London. This place is a chain but that doesn't matter...what matters is the ramen and this place delivers. Lots of ramen options including Tonkotsu and Spicy Miso. Small but great service. Prices are a little high, but that's classy ramen and London for you. Add on some karagi for just a little bit more. Overall would recommend to get your ramen fix!

As usual ippudo is just basic ramen you know. I have never liked ippudo anywhere in the world. I have tried in many countries but you know its just okay all the time nothing special. Nothing beats ichiran in my opinion. Not recommended pretty much the same all over the world. Rubbish service with basic food. I thought its gonna be better? But nah lol.

I was so excited to know that there's an Ippudo in UK, London! I have been to the one in NYC. I didn't mind travelling more than 1hr just for a good bowl of ramen therefore, my expectation got rocket high since my experience in NYC was really good! The mood/ambiance in this location is quite nice, I mean I got a view to the competitor lol(Kanada-Ya) was clearly visibly in the window and I can see they have ppl waiting in the cold for their bowl of ramen too, which makes me wonder if that place is as good as well!(ended up browsing pict too!) the place looks pretty n the light isn't crazily lit, enough spacing as well to fit many people in their restaurant, love that fact that I don't need to book appointment. If I don't bother converting money and just think of as the local here, I would say the price is fair. Selection of food is not as big as in NYC, but ofc they gotta cater to the people who lives here and make their own twist. I'm sad that I didn't have the choice of choosing thick or thin noodles, as I love the thick noodles more than the thin one, therefore I took out 1 star from it. Husband and I ordered the akamaru modern with medium hardness on the noodles. We both like it but not as much as NYC as this one is greasier. We additionally also ordered chicken karaage, sad it didn't comes with mayo as part of the sauce.... but still good. Over all it wasn't bad and quite good. Service is a bit slow and I got my jacket knocked down about 3x. Everything was fine. Do I recommend the place? Sure why not? But seems like the competitor is bustling as well. And yeah, second star is gone due to knocking down my jacket 3x n slow service and bit of the oily broth but no big deal, food wise still good, but can be better.

I love Ippudo! I went to the one in Manhattan every now and then, and I missed the richness of their broth. Very few ramen shops have super rich broths like Ippudo. I got the spicy ramen, and boy the broth was incredibly thick. But it was super rich and flavorful, just like I wanted. It was a bit spicy, but not enough to make it undrinkable. I thought the meat was okay (I've had better) but they really do a good job with the broth here. Service here is whatever, but I think that's just how most of Europe is. Prices seem on par with what they are in the U.S. The seating is a bit more open here too compared to the one in Manhattan.

This was my second visit to this location and it was better than the first. It was a busy Friday but we managed to get seats at the bar rather than waiting for a table. Staff service was quick and accomodating. We had seen one of their specials offered and so my companion decided to try it. I went with one of their classics. Each of us was impressed with our selection. My ramen had a thick pork broth with a slightly spicy garlic sesame oil. The broth held its flavour and the egg was cooked just right, medium boiled. Noodles were served as requested, hard. It was an excellent portion size. My partner enjoyed his bowl, having the poached egg served on the side along with hot sauce. His broth was slightly milder and boasted pulled pork. They have a decent drink menu if you fancy sake, cocktails and mocktails. Although it's an international chain it's easy to see why they have been successful.

The thing I liked about this place was their broad menu. It had any kind of ramen you can think of and on top of that you can create the heat and style of noodles you prefer. This is something I've never had the luxury of doing before, so I was quite excited. Not into ramen? That's okay, because they have a lot of other things on their menu you can choose from. A part from the tasty/wide ranges of food choices and their neat interior decorations, I would say I was very disappointed with how our server was treating us. She was extremely rude from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left. She was just as short as possible and very adamant that we hurry up and order, eat our food and get out.

The pork broth is juicy, ramen are thin and perfectly thin plus you can get a poached egg instead of the classic soft boiled egg.

Review #300! After…read morespending several hours at the British Museum, we decided to seek out a nearby bubble tea shop for a pick me up. We realized we were hungry when we saw Menya Ramen House across the street from the boba shop we were aiming for. We lucked out in not having to wait long for a table, perhaps because it was getting close to closing time. This restaurant is really tiny. It's a narrow restaurant with very limited seating (mostly small tables and one larger table at the back). They also have some seating outside. I love how they have these small pitchers of water you can take to your table. You can just refill your glass without bothering the workers. Chopsticks & napkins are already on the table. We ordered 3 bowls of Menya Ramen in the Tonkotsu Broth. We noticed later that the bowls didn't all have the same number of slices of chashu. An oversight, I'm sure. I love how we can choose how firm we would like our noodles (regular, hard or extra hard) and also choose our spicy level (step 1, step 2 or step 3). They make a solid bowl of ramen. Perfect noodles, delicious broth, and even the egg was good. The meal was delicious and hit the spot after visiting the British Museum. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. There's a restroom in the back, on the right side. It's tiny, as many restrooms are in London. They also have some of the softest toilet paper in any of the public restrooms I've been to during my trip. Yeah that's a strange thing to comment on LOL but it really is.

Also they seem pretty Covid conscious with the screens dividing between the tables. I ordered the Menya Ramen which is essentially the regular Tonkatsu Ramen. I really appreciate the fact that this one already had a soft-boiled egg in it which I always think is the best part about ramen, and this one is no different. Wasn't the biggest fan of the chasu pork, but I did appreciate the seaweed as well as the rich broth. I thought the amount the gave was also quite a bit for the price, especially with the amount of noodles they had. Overall, pretty great experience at Menya. Will definitely come back for more!

Upon entry, the staff greeted you warmly and were on point to execute a perfectly designed bowl of ramen for your eating pleasure. I honestly felt guilty from the way I enjoyed my ramen given how much my oldest daughter loves the food. I appreciated how open the staff was to making my bowl "extra" spicy and adding yet another egg even though it wasn't specifically on the menu but satisfied my particular desire. What added to the "realness" of the resturant was the steady flow of what seemed to be true ramen experts coming in and navigating the scene, menu, and food at lightning speed with even better eating results. If ramen is your thing, then you NEED to check out this place. Definitely one of the top spots for Ramen I've been to in all my travels.
