"Competence, Professionalism, Friendliness" Both my wife and myself have been patients of Dr. Omarali for about 4 years. We are very pleased with the doctor, and with this office in general. One interesting feature about Dr.Omarali is that he is actually a specialist in cardiology! I haven't had one of those treadmill stress tests yet, but I'm looking forward to one soon. Dr. Omarali is very thoughtful and takes medical issues seriously. Whenever I have a physical, he takes his time, and does a thorough job. He doesn't try to rush--instead, he tries to do a thorough job. I really appreciate his patience and professionalism. Just recently, I visited the doctor for a unusual issue that was causing me some distress. He suggested several types of therapy, and prescribed different medications. He also suggested when it would be appropriate to go see a specialist. So overall, we have been very pleased with the entire staff at this office. This review is mainly for Claudia, the receptionist. She was super nice and helpful when I was asking a bunch of questions over the phone. The other receptionist were a little rude and giving me attitude, I didn't appreciate that. I called to check if my documents were ready and Claudia said there's no guarantee it can be done by end of day 'cause she's the only one in the office today. She said she was going to try to get it done when it's not busy, so I didn't have much hope. She called me back after 3-4 hours to let me know it was done and I was so surprised and thankful that she was able to finish it. Really appreciated it! Dr Tasneem Bader Omarali is of of the most astute and knowledgeable Dr.s I have had in my lifetime. She is very thorough and her memory is excellent. She was my sisters physician and I have now been with her for 7-8 years. I never miss a physical exam. She coordinates all of my other physicians information into my health care and discusses it with me. From the top of my head to my toe (literally) she can treat very effectively or refer to a necessary specialist. She is extremely well read and from her appointments I know more about my body and needs than any physician I've seen over the years. She spends quality time fir a physical and does not rush. If there was negative rating, I would for sure give Dr. Omarali minus 100. This guy cannot be trusted. He only cares about money and nothing more. Not your health, not your well-being. I cannot imagine how poor he treat the patient and how greedy he is. Definitely won't recommend this place to my friends. Worst experience ever. The waiting time is forever too even though there is only me sitting in the room. In contrast, the actual time that Dr. Omarali spends with me is very short and all he does is to make you feel subordinate instead of getting better. I was very disappointed with my service with this office. The only reason I came to this office was my original Dr. Hart closed his business and transferred his pateients here. My first bad experience was when I tore my pec muscle and went to see Dr.Omarali he gave me a referral to get an MRI. He wrote on the referral apparently "shoulder", of course I pay for the MRI take it to another Dr and that is not the correct area that needed to be filmed. I had to do a second MRI out of my pocket to get the actual pec area, which I later had to have surgery on to correct. This caused extra money out of my pocket and a delay in my treatment. Second bad experience is I made a routine appointment for a check up. My check up was at 2:30pm. I had to take time off of work. I checked in the office. The office was a ghost town and I sat there till 3:30 (yes 1 full hour!) until I told the receptionist I need to leave and go back to work. She asked if she could book me for another appointment and I told her absouletly not! I even asked for a refund with my co-pay. I'm not sure about you but I don't have extra time to just waste an hour in a Drs waiting room who can't be bothered. My time should be respected as well. read more

My wife and I have been seeing Dr Bader for our primary care for the past seven years. She is attentive to our complaints and also compulsive on all levels. My wife had numerous issues, and she was able to guide us to the right specialist saving us time and our health! Thank goodness I have a PPO which helps us get all the tests we need and see any specialist she recommends. Dr Bader is a medical graduate from University of Missouri, and I connected with her immediately, being a Mizzou grad myself. My husband -- from NYC also like the fact that she also trained in New York. We love the computer system they have in place-- completely paperless, and we are able to go online and see the medical information. I am usually able to get an appointment the same day or next, and this has helped me out when in a crunch. read more

An update: Dr. Bader's lack of medical care prolonged my treatment for a serious nerve impingement. After 3 weeks of stabbing/tingling pain, I decided I needed a doctor. She downplayed my symptoms and told me to continue taking NSAID's when I already been doing so without success or relief. I'll make a long story short and say after several months of grief with Dr. Bader and her office staff, I was able to secure a referral for a specialist. I'm not sure why its such a hassle for her to give referrals, even after she admits that she doesn't know what's going on or how to help me. Turns out, I needed surgery. No thanks to this doctor, I am now post-surgery and recovering. read more

I came to Pleasanton Medical Group for my immigration exam. Their Immigration appointments usually are booked up fast. I waited for about 10 days to get in but I was told I can get all my labs done through my primary care beforehand. So I got all my tests done and results back in advance and on the day of my appointment, I was given a exam report right away. The staff are friendly and helpful. Don't go to this guy. He lies, he wanted me to sign an illegal paper saying I would never call for overrides for an RX or he'd through me out. My husband called for me then he threw me out. I consider myself lucky . We reported him to the state, so if they say he had no complaints, it's another lie. Dr. Omarali was my mother's cardiologist. He was wonderful to her. He became her doctor after her previous long-time cardiologist in Livermore, would not take calls from the Hospital ER nor from other doctors, unless it was his day in Livermore--a Wednesday. Dr. Omarali was able to make home visits when necessary and when my mom had to go into a care facility, Eden Villa, he would visit her there. The staff there told me how much they loved him. He went above and beyond the call of duty many times, and with my mom's Alzheimer's and heart issues, my sister and I really appreciated it. Dr. Bader is my personal doctor. She has been great! And if she happens to not be in the office, Dr. Omarali has seen me. I'm 63, so I've seen a lot of doctors during my lifetime. These two are the best! read more

I took my dad, who is 84 and is in memory care with dementia, to see Dr. Omarali to establish care for him as we recently moved him to Pleasanton. We were in the office almost an hour and a half. Not waiting..... actually talking to the Dr.!!! He was incredibly patient, since my dad would get confused and ramble on and on. He asked him simple but important questions to get to know him and any concerns he (and I) had. He picked up that my dad used to be an sales/engineer and would bring that up during our conversation which showed how much he was listening and my dad ate it up! My dad has "fired" several doctors because he felt like they were not listening to him, or they would talk to me instead of him and that made him feel like a child. He listens to you carefully, makes detailed notes and suggests very reasonable treatment to you. He does not put you through unwanted tests. Dr. Bader Omarali (wife) and Dr. Omarali (husband) are our family physicians for 20 plus years so that should tell you how great they are. I should have written this review a long time ago as they are very caring and very accommodating including the office staff. A few years back when my father in-law was visiting from another country and had a cut that didn't stop bleeding, Dr. Omarali was willing to squeeze him in and stitched up for him. We trust both of them to take good care of us and hopefully will be our family physicians for a long while. read more

This was the worst doctor I have ever had! She made me feel like I was always sick even her husband Dr Omarali! They don't care about their patients. They only care about money! Once I wasn't able to pay because my insurance ended they said they can no longer see me. The doctor gave this letter to the front desk receptionist to give over to me. It was probably the best thing to ever happen because these two doctors always kept me sick and made me feel like I needed to be on meds for the rest of my life !! Don't go to them!!! Stay away for your own good!!! They will keep you sick so you keep going back to them for more meds... I found another doctor that really helped and made me better! He also had me take probiotics because I was giving and taking to many antibiotics that my gut was all bad.... Dr Bader and Omarali SHOULD TRY to genuinely and sincerely care for their patients and not for pockets... Their staff isn't that friendly either... good riddance!!! read more

The past couple of years I have been looking for an internist but her Aetna record showed she was not accepting new patients. My internist retired last year and I tried calling her office and was able to get an appointment really fast. She has a very good bedside manner. I was very comfortable with her and I like it that she listens and is patient with my concerns. If she can avoid diagnostics tests, she will tell you so. If your concern is something that has to be seen by a specialist she will recommend doctors. One time I had to see urgently and they were able to get me in right away. The care at the facility was fine. What I did not appreciate was the fact that I was charged two copays for the same visit. Apparently my vitals being taken by one person and then getting prescribed an inhaler by another person constitutes two separate visits in the mind of the billing department. This wasn't communicated until I received a final notice for the copay four months after the visit. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Omarali since 2007. He is the finest, most thorough medical professional I've had the pleasure to deal with. While I became a patient of his for general medical care, I discovered that he graduated in cardiology from King's College, Dublin and did his internship at the Mayo Clinic. He is very highly qualified. While he is very disciplined, he genuinely cares about his patients and, after a few visits, you'll find that he also has a great sense of humor. In 2009 I found out how lucky I was to have chosen him as my doctor. He saw me through a heart attack I suffered that year and under his care I have had absolutely no adverse effects. read more

Just saw Dr Iqbal for annual exam. This was by far the best hospital visit. The staff was friendly and doctor was understanding.

I found Dr. Bader from yahoo reviews (great, i'm the first yelp reviewer!). She's highly recommended, so I thought, 3rd time's the charm. I didn't click with my first 2 drs., who saw me for 10 mins after making me wait for 40, and has a cold, "let's get it over with" attitude. Dr. Bader is warm, fun to talk to and listens patiently, and doesn't seem to mind once I start with my hyperchondriac venting *LOL*. She's great at putting my mind at ease. She makes sure every question I have gets answered and explains test results completely (with drawings too!). I feel she's very much in tune with me, recommending health tips based on my age, ethnicity and type of activity. read more

I went to Dr. Omarali for some heart problem. He recommended echo-cardiogram on December 2015. I didn't get the report until 08/01/2016, when I called again and finally they emailed me a report generated on 12/16/2015. I asked an explanation from Dr. Omarali and I didn't receive a call or an email from him personally, but to ask me to pay the test bill. I am still open to hear from Dr. Omarali and would like to update the status. read more
