I don't know about the other bartenders, but Kelsey could sure take the stick out. Her attitude made us want to leave. With so many bars in Key West, why go to one that makes you anxious to leave. When we,walked in we couldn't find a seat on the other side of the bar, but her side had plenty. I now understand why. Besides this bad experience it seemed like a fun place to hang out. read more

Fun place, especially if you're wanting some entertainment. I do have to complain about the entertainer though. I have never been so offended in my life. He was from New York and extremely degrading to women... talked about how to cheat on your wife, etc. Otherwise fun place to hang out and sing-along. read more

This was the best place we drank and ate at in key west. The pulled pork tacos were the best I've ever had. The entertainer was fantastic.

Best craft beer selection on duval I feel. Please of craft on tap, decent selection of liquors. The place gets packed when the live entertainment gets rolling. NY Pauley is a favorite there, and his humor will make you laugh or cry, depending if the jokes on you. It can get loud so don't expect to have much conversation going on once inside. It's best to migrate to the back past the stairs as the front tends to be more packed and it seems harder to get a drink near front. Or if the balcony bar is open, it's way easier to get a drink, but most of the better beer taps are down stairs. read more

I don't even want to give this 1 star! The food was awful! Worst food I had in key west. There was no one playing any music when we walked in...I guess he was on a break because when he started playing it was awful! My wife and I stopped in mid-afternoon while knocking out all of the bigger Duval bars that were too packed for our liking the night before. Grabbed 2 seats at the bar and were quickly served with a smile by the bar staff. I can only speak to the drinks, but the beer selection was good and they were plenty cold. This bar. What can I say? It was my 21st with my parents.... we had some drinks at some other bars, but this one was my favorite. I had a rumrunner (unfortunately left my cup) and the singer gave me a double shot of whiskey. It was amazingly fun and I would go there again for sure. Went to this bar from a recommendation and loved it, at first. Ordered our drinks, two mojitos and a rum punch. Mojitos came with straws but punch did not. I kindly asked the bar tender for a straw and he told me no. No explanation as to why my request was denied. Dumbfounded, I returned to ask why and he was a complete jerk! Told me something about environmental hazard and how he gave me two straws for free and that they cost 2$ each. I would have gladly paid the money but was never given the choice. I have never been treated so horribly at any place in my life!!! So much so that I abruptly closed my tab and left! We probably would have stayed the entire night had the bar tender been even a little kind. This man has no business working in a place serving paying customers!!! read more

I dig this place. We went in on a Saturday Night. This is an early crowd, as it seems to clear out by about 1 for the more action oriented places. This night in particular was a guitarist and drummer playing 80's-90's music. They were fun, just not get you raging kind of fun. The bar service was quick enough, as it ought to be for $9 for a low call (Smirnoff). Cocktail waitress was also friendly and attentive. read more

Visited Irish Kevin's around noon so the place wasn't very busy but it still took a long time before we could order our beer. When I placed my order for the ale that I wanted and even pointed to it, the bartender still managed to get me the wrong the one. The live music was nice but after the adventure that it took to get the first round none of us really wanted to hang around for a second round. read more

Stopped I for one with my wife. Music was good with fun interactions with the crowd. Paid the bill after about an hour and left a tip on the table next to the receipt and stepped outside only to be followed by our server wanting to know if there was a problem. Curious I asked if she received our tip. She claimed she did not. I showed her exactly where I had placed the three dollars and the receipt. Someone had picked it up. I retipped her and went on my way. Not our best experience but with a crowd I'd bet it would've. Been fun. read more

Just spent 5 days in keywest and I have to say out of a mass of bars Irish kevins certainly stood out from the rest. Very energetic and friendly vibe, everyone at the bar was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The best part was once someone was having a few too many the bartender was good to cut them off but in a way that was not rude and did not cause any fights . All and all this is a party bar with a fun and friendly atmosphere.... best bar on the strip read more
