I started this business after noticing a growing need in my community—especially among local college students—for reliable, long-distance transportation to and from airports in Chicago and Indianapolis. As a woman and a mother of seven, I understood the peace of mind that came with a safe, trustworthy ride—particularly for young women traveling alone. Many of my early riders expressed how much more comfortable they felt knowing their driver was a woman. That feedback inspired me to create Irish Rides: a personalized, safety-focused alternative to rideshare apps, especially for longer trips. What started as a way to help has grown into a business I’m passionate about—one built on trust, care, and the belief that everyone deserves to feel secure when they travel.
