I was wrong, Ms Amanda with Talem Home Care and her staff provided me with the best of services. Care providers were courteous, calm, and quickly adapted to my routine on first day. We tried two different individual providers (unreliable), then moved up to one of the most expensive services in Denver, thinking that ought to do it, but they were unkind to my friend, and then suddenly quit without notice. THEN WE FOUND ATLANTIS! For over two years, they've been ·very· reliable, kind, friendly and accommodating. Best of all, they take responsibility for her care, planning and doing, so it takes very little effort for my friend, and no oversite on my part. If something does need changing, they come to me not with a problem, they come with a solution. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We have found training is done in your home by other caregivers and using you tube videos. We have also found they hire based on need and hours. They have been of service while she was at Libby Bortz Assisted Living (awesome facility) and now as the Manor on Marston (another awesome facility). Dealing with end of life isn't easy and emotions run high. Moving loved ones into and out of assisted facilities is stressful on everyone. Managing everyone's expectations isn't easy. The staff from Agape has done and continues to do an outstanding job balancing all these things. Yes, things go a bit wrong, someone may forget something etc, but it's how you handle and correct the mis steps that speaks to your true intent and here, Agape, is excellent. They have been honest if they miss something and they appropriately and mindfully push back when needed to the family when in the best interest of the patient. The staff from nursing, personal care, PT, volunteers, Chaplin's, visiting animals, etc have been amazing. My mom has nothing but praise for each. She looks forward to each of their visits as they are way more than just medical visits. Please keep in mind the difficult situation when thinking about an evaluation. When I place myself in their shoes or my moms, they are an outstanding, dedicated team of caregivers who truly care. What more can as for?

Not everything is perfect, but I'm grateful to have had this experience over other options and given a chance at a new life. I can't speak on their other programs I didn't use and the therapy portion wasn't my forte, but overall GRATEFUL. Side note, AMAZING food. There are complaints as with anywhere for sure, but I feel that most of the one star reviews are from people not willing to surrender or ready to do what it takes. If you are, their residential is a good first step. The BHT's made everything worth it, the upper level staff was disorganized and complacent, but overall I got more out of the experience then I bargained for.

My 91-y/o Dad was placed in RMAL at the Quincy/Wadsworth location on October 10th. Long-time Alzheimer's patient who had recently been subject to too many falls to safely be kept at home any more. RMAL came to us highly recommended for his well-being and care. We in no way blame them for his quick passing, but instead the heartless lack of respect he received AFTER his death, and their callous lack of compassion for us, his family. Dad passed early in the morning of October 13th. He was left to lay on the floor, completely bare save for a diaper, and uncovered for at least an hour after he was attended to by paramedics. ON THE FLOOR - UNCOVERED!! WE WERE NEVER NOTIFIED OF HIS PASSING, and my brother found him on a video camera inside the room. Upon his calling the home himself, he was told, "Sorry, he's gone". Upon arrival at the facility within 40 min., he found Dad on the floor, in aforementioned condition, and covered him himself with his comforter. NO CALLS to my Mom or either of us children listed as emergency contacts. NOT ONE. And my Dad ON THE FLOOR, LEFT BARE AND UNCOVERED, FOR AN HOUR. Three days later, upon our arrival to remove belongings, we walked in to all his sheets laying crumpled in the middle of the bed, filled with his BODILY FLUIDS. NOT BAGGED - JUST LAYING ON THE MIDDLE OF THE BED (he had obviously been placed back on the bed after my brother left, at some point before the mortuary arrived - no coroner arrived to pronounce him, either). STILL no calls from anyone at the facility, THREE DAYS AFTER THE FACT. They chose to correspond only via text message. UNBAGGED, BIO-HAZARDOUS WASTE MATERIALS left in a room of a nursing home filled with other patients, for THREE DAYS! We were charged with removing the soiled sheets ourselves. Horrific treatment of my beloved Dad and the family who cared for him. They blamed the paramedics for zero phone calls. RMAL collected their fees and THEY were responsible for calling to let us know. They were also charged with caring for my Dad when we couldn't be there (we had been at the facility with him for 8 hours each of the three days he was there). NO COMPASSION OR DIGNITY WAS SHOWN TO THIS SWEET MAN! If I can save ONE person from this heartbreak in the future, it will be my life's goal from here on out!

Their care staff is highly attentive to their residents, their care is patient centered and they are very communicative to families and outside healthcare professionals who deliver care to their residents. The communities are welcoming, soothing, well-maintained and are perfect for seniors who want staff who are dedicated to their individual needs. I would trust them for the care of my own elderly parents when the time comes for them when they need a higher level of care. They are the best in the Denver metro area and would highly recommend any senior needing a place to call home.
