As far as Chinese food goes, I have fairly low standards and this place didn't meet them. I used to come here all the time with my family growing up in the late 90s early 2000 and it was great. Busy on a Saturday kept the food hot and fresh. New management or whatever has replaced decent items with extremely low grade high salt food. We went on a Saturday at 7pm and there was only ONE OTHER FAMILY there. 2 other families came in during the time we were there and nobody else. They wouldn't change over the food even when it was down to 1-2 pieces. Had such high hopes! read more

Only in upstate New York could one find this phenomenon - a Chinese buffet that's actually the restaurant AT a motel. I love it! It was fine as far as these oriental slop troughs go. Got a little unnerved when I saw a chef "replenishing" the General Tso's Chicken by bringing over a vat of plain fried chicken chunks and incorporating it into the old leftover sauce... fairly certain that's a food safety violation. But here I am 48 hours later, and I don't have Listeria. Some items were better than others. The fried rice, mei fun, and fried dumplings were actually quite good, while the lo mein and aforementioned General Tso's left more than a little to be desired. They had crab legs, ice cream for dessert, stuff you usually expect. And it's $10 for dinner. That's "Who the hell is your food supplier?" cheap. Gorge senselessly at your own leisure. read more

I eat at this restaurant a few times a week and have both lunch and dinner. I absolutely love the food, especially when I arrive there early when the food is at it's best. The woman behind the counter watches to be certain customers don't miss use or waste the food.. Among the various entrees include baked salmon, crab, spinach, squash and occasionally white fish. Oh yes all the shrimp that and crab you can eat as well as sushi on demand. This place has improved tremendously within the past 5 years. I highly recommend it! The Lo Mein with the peanut butter chicken wings are my favorite. read more

Went here two nights ago. Place didn't seem very clean. I was there about 6:30 pm. I figured because I went at around dinner, the food would be fresh, but this is not at all the case. The food was old, some seemed as if it had been sitting for over 2 hours (especially the chickens). I also noticed that they did not add more when a certain item was getting low, but only when it was completely gone, even if the item was EXTREMELY old. read more

Swapping the general tso and the sesame chicken back and forth is gross, so if it's floating I don't touch it. Hot food, not hot if you get there when they open. Lady at the cash register watches everyone like a hawk. Don't even think of looking at the hibachi area, she glares at you if you go to that area, it's sold by the pc. Good food. Not the most selection of choices but what they did carry was good. Most of the dishes were vegetarian or chicken which for me was a definite plus but that not everyone's favorite. The service was good and the price was amazing only $5.50 for lunch! All in all for the price this place was really good. This is definitely quite the find for Chinese food consumers. 8.15 USD for the endless lunch buffet and a soda is quite the steal. The Asian foods are quite exquisite but the "American" foods like chicken nuggets are a little tough and dry, but aside from that it is definitely worth the stop. Four of my friends and i piled into my car pumped for all you can eat dirt cheap Chinese food. the food was as upsetting as the transformers movies. the waiting staff was catted and quiet. the drive home is was a race between my car and 5 upset colons. when we made it home it was a fight for the bathroom. Went here for my birthday. First time going in the waiter waved us to a table instead of coming to us. The staff did not seem friendly a lot of stares and poor attitude. The waitress did only came around 1 time to clear our dishes and never offered to refill my drink. The food was really bland and everything was very oily and overcooked and the dessert bar is a joke barley 3 things Some fudge brownies and other boxed mix cake stuff. I had better Chinese buffet food near Albany NY. Never coming here again. Overall it was something to fill your stomach for 7 some dollars but you will leave disappointed and maybe have heartburn like me. read more

Me and my buddy came here to grease our stomachs with mediocre Asian buffet before going on an epic beer pong run of 30+ games on St. Patrick's Day at our Hartwick College fraternity. We were legendary that day, etching our names into the eternal halls of heroic drinking game performances... Needless to say, this all wouldn't have been possible without the awfully greasy, absolutely MSG-riddled foods found at Oneonta's #1 Asian buffet bistro. On any other day, you wouldn't catch me within 100 yards of this place. But then again, it's not too often you get to witness legends leave their mark in the annals of history. i have been here many times. the best time to go is during the lunch hours on Fridays. that is when its the cheapest and the food is fresher. i love pretty much everything there including the Sushi. the peanut butter chicken is exceptionally good. my only gripe is that they need a larger variety. read more

If I could give this restaurant zero stars, I would. I went in for a late lunch today and brought a young teenage friend with me. We had to leave quickly and the boy asked the waitress for a box so he could take his food with him, since he only had 1/2 plate of noodles by the time we had to leave. The waitress showed him where the boxes were located, but when we were leaving, the owner, a scowling middle-aged woman, came to us and told us we couldn't leave without paying for an extra lunch. Prior to this, she yelled at the boy which wasn't necessary, and hollered at her staff throughout the visit. Her staff literally ran to her when she hollered at them, which was sad to see. What a mean woman. I was a loyal customer, but needless to say, I won't be coming back. read more

Randomly popped in for lunch on Mother's Day. It was moderately busy, which bodes well for a buffet. The food was standard upstate NY Chinese buffet cuisine. As I paid the bill, they told us that any mother in my group gets a free pair of earrings, which my wife enjoyed. read more

Yelp should really not make you even put a star. This place sucked. It's so greasy you can hardly chew it it just slips down your throat. My spoon was dirty. The food was ice cold. The only thing that's good is the chicken nuggs and they even taste like they were just defrosted in the tray. They should have paid for my meal. read more
