I went into work early in order to be able to leave briefly and meet the installer. 9:00 came and went...At 9:35 still no installer and no call offering a reason why...we called the store. The store called Chris, the installer. Chris said he "didn't know he had to be there at 9:00 on the dot". He figured "around 9," said he was in South Point and would be there in 5 minutes. Chris doesn't manage time well, South Point is more than 5 minutes away. More importantly, Chris also does not respect other people's time. Chris cost Gibbs the sale of an insert and tarnished their reputation.

He and the store employee went shopping together bringing several items to the counter one at a time while I waited and waited and waited...I placed my items on the counter with his and left. On another I only needed a junction box cover. I could find one, I also couldn't find an employee for assistance. And on the last visit, the straw that broke the camels back, I dropped off chainsaw chains to be sharpened. 9 days later, they remained untouched. I tried! They stopped trying.

I placed an order an erroneously selected "Pick Up" rather than "Delivery"..... I have been charged $71 for an order that will now sit useless in a pick up bin in WVA; hundreds of miles away from me. I will not be picking up. I'm guessing, in a few weeks, someone may notice the package has remained and do 'something'. Regardless, I need these materials as soon as possible, but Menards useless contact information does nothing to help ameliorate this situation. How disappointing.
