I have paid for installation and storage months in advance and had called 4+ times this year to make sure that the lights were installed by Thanksgiving. I was promised installation on 11/30/20 and no lights. I even told them they could install right after Halloween.11/30/20-no lights. 12/1/20-again no lights. A representative called me the Friday after Thanksgiving and told me they would be up on 11/30/20. Today (12/2), when I called I got a laundry list of excuses as to why the lights aren't up. "We are busy"--you are a holiday light installation company, maybe would've guessed you'd be busy and scheduled accordingly?? The service has been horrible. And then was zero communication of them missing the 11/30/20 deadline. If I could give negative stars, I would. Don't buy your lights here and expect to enjoy them for the holiday season.

We wanted a residential installation, with take-down and storage. We met with someone at Brite…read moreIdeas in August, decided to have the house outlined, two evergreen trees wrapped and some spikey snowflake things placed in the front-yard. We thought this would be a good way to test whether we were happy with everything enough to have the backyard (which is on a golf course) added next year. We paid for the lights, installation and storage service early September. I told the person I was dealing with that installation could happen anytime after Oct 31 (we just would not light them until late Nov), but I wanted everything done no later than the week before Thanksgiving. Autumn comes and the week of Halloween I reached out to see how scheduling the Christmas installation worked. I emailed, I called, I emailed, I called--no response from the person who was "in charge" of installations. We finally got ahold of the business operator, who was able to run "the guy" down and were told our installation would occur the Thursday before Thanksgiving. That date came and went and the week of Thanksgiving we still have no Christmas lights. I called again (and knew enough not to ask for "the guy" and to just speak to the operator) and when I explained the situation, was asked if I wanted my money back--translation, they had no intention of doing the installation any time soon. Evidently, BI was the installer of the drive-through light display in Valley, NE and so they don't really have time for any new residential installs this year (2025). So, beware...go to Brite Ideas for DIY or commercial installs but they are no longer all that interested in residential installs smaller than those found in Lyndon Estates.
