It is clean and attractive with, mirrors, pictures on the wall, lighting effects, and toiletries for you to use in the restrooms. And everyone is very friendly. Most importantly, it has the best instructors of any club I have ever been to. During the early part of the pandemic when my own health club closed, I began taking barre, flow and yoga classes online through DynamiX, and I cannot say enough about how much more in shape I am today than when I started. The classes aren't easy. There were lots of things I couldn't do at first, and even now some moves are too hard for me, but I have kept at it - I still keep at it - and I amaze myself with how much I can improve. My sister takes different classes (body pump, body attack, body combat, and step), and she says she has wonderful instructors, too. If you live in Omaha, you can enjoy the social side of taking DynamiX classes in person, but I actually love attending online because I save so much travel time and am ready for the rest of my day as soon as class is over. Usually the instructor and sometimes a student or two chat with me before class, so I even get some socializing in. In fact, I never feel deprived of anything by exercising at home. On the contrary....

After trying different types of classes the first week, I then settled on a regular schedule of Flow with Kelly, Barre with Lindsay, and Body Pump with Bri. The instructors are tough and the classes demanding, but the more I work out, the easier it gets. I can already see definition in my arms and legs that I could not see before, I know I am stronger, and I feel healthier. I want to give special metnion to Kelly because every single time I take a flow class with her I am aware of something I can do that I could not do the time before. My balance gets better and better and I am much more flexible. What's more is that I come out of every class both relaxed and energized. Believe me, I would be a fool if I did not continue my exercise classes. I will continue, and I will write a follow-up review in a few months.

The biggest issue at this Planet Fitness isn't the equipment -- it's the staff. Every time I walk…read morein, the front desk looks more like a break room than a place of business. Employees are consistently glued to their cell phones or openly eating full meals at the desk, complete with a smorgasbord of food, while members are left waiting or ignored. Need help? Good luck. It feels like you're interrupting their scrolling or snack time just to ask a simple question. There's zero sense of professionalism, accountability, or customer service. If the staff put half as much effort into doing their jobs as they do into their phones, this place might actually live up to its marketing. Billing is an absolute nightmare. They do not clearly tell you that if you don't cancel months in advance, you will not get your annual fee refunded. When you try to ask about it, no one at the front desk seems to know anything about billing at all. Instead, they send you to an outside company -- who then sends you right back to the gym. Back and forth. Over and over. No one takes responsibility, and no one can issue a refund. To make it even worse, staff will tell you they'll "call you back" and then never do. No follow-up. No accountability. Just silence. It's incredibly frustrating to pay monthly for a business that can't be bothered to offer basic professionalism or customer service. Planet Fitness may be cheap, but the way this place is run makes it clear why.

I received a tact the next day asking about my interest in Pilates and fitness level. Closer to my appointment I received a text reminder, advised grippy socks are req and the name of my trainer. The lobby is a nice size. There is a bench in front of the window. Lockers for personal items. Retail space with socks, shirts and other items. Behind the lobby is the training space. I didn't count how many reformers are there, but it's enough to hold a small class. I recommend if you never tried Pilates or worked on a reformer to ask lots of questions. Schedule a private session if possible. The cost of membership is an investment and the details are discussed after the class. To get your money's worth it's best to attend at least twice a week. I appreciate they offer drop in at $25-35 per class. Which may be a good option if you plan to attend one or two classes a month.
