Tony was great about safety and wanted to make sure the wind conditions were just right to go parasailing. We coordinated another date to come out before we left back to Texas. Unfortunately, it didn't work out, so he offered a dolphin tour that was private and uncharted. The most amazing time ever and tony was a great host. He stayed sincere and straight up with us, and we saw quite a few dolphins on the uncharted seas.

This is my fifth or sixth year running this race! Why has this awesomeness not been yelped yet I…read morehave no clue! It is inside the beautiful community of Watergrass in Pasco County. This flat fast and perfectly placed 5k (3.1 miles) weaves through the wonderful natural scenery with many cute things to see like otters, deer, cows, osprey, and other sites. Lots of nice shade and water stations along the way to ensure a fun time is had by all. This is a chip timed race which gives out many fantastic prizes from a variety of sponsors like SeaWorld, local restaurants and entertainment venues. It is a fantastic race for the whole family and strollers are welcome to participate in the race. After you cross the finish line, you get a finishers medal, bottled water, and treats like fruit, coffee, and muffins to take care of your race calorie burn. Then, the kids have their fun run race. So super cute! Finally at the end, they award the overall make and female winners of the five k and the age/gender categories. Nicely run and growing professional type race. You can tell they take pride in ensuring all have a great time.

I really appreciated the wall for people to sign names for those being honored that day--this was very meaningful. . . There were several community partners available, along with HIV testing. I'm not a fan of McDonald's but I have to say I was impressed with the free t-shirts given out the day of the race. Gorgeous day with great views during the walk and the 5k. I really enjoyed Una Voce--the gay men's chorus of Tampa Bay. It was such a treat to hear them, and I hope to see them perform again soon.

I volunteered at the first ever Flavor Run 5K. This race was very similar to The Color Run with…read moresome key differences that make it worth the money. There were medals, and with an interesting twist, the colored powder was flavored. Runners could also volunteer to be Flavor Fairies which meant, along with running the 5K, they could chase people through the "enchanted forest" and get them with color there. Before the Race Runners and volunteers received a gray t-shirt. People could also buy Hawaiian lays, neon sunglasses, and white t-shirts. Volunteers who were throwing color powder at the stations also received a bandana to cover their nose and mouth. During the Race I was at the Flavor Fairy station handing out wings. By the end end of the race, I was covered in glitter like a day walking stripper. Runners who crossed the finish got a free towel to wipe the massive amounts of color from their faces. After the Race The free post race food was fresh fruit from Whole Foods. There was a live cover band. Runners could also buy carnival food and beer. In the end, I had a blast just as a volunteer. I am excited to see what it's like as a runner.

Many!!! mistakes with processing my order and continued to confirm my order then I would receive another email informing me that the payment denied knowing that I had the money.... Became concerned emailed them several times to find out what was going on because this had to due with my personal information. I was assertive with my email when letting The Flavor Run but felt bad and apologized if I came across as rude. Even though I wasn't being rude. I did receive a nice email apologizing , problems with processing my order and if I'd give them another chance and they would throw in some extras, the extras I didn't want. No problem mistakes are made. But when I received the items in the mail the only thing that they got right were the T-shirt and the Bag... Nothing else... It just appeared that things were just thrown in... I contacted them several times as the website gave information regarding returns so I emailed them the problems and I wanted to return everything due to being over it... I was informed why I received items wrong... they new it before things were even sent to me... They just sent it anyway... the item was damaged the other one was the wrong one that I ordered. I was upset because they knew it but sent it with no explanations. While I was out of town I didnt receive any reply back from Flavor Run until I emailed them again. I received a reply that they wanted the order number and pictures of the items which I did... No problem!!! They did respond back email and gave excuses which I already written above. They wanted to make things right... Finally something is going to be done regarding the order I just wanted to return everything due to all of issues with Flavor Run. Again no response back... I decided to deal with this when I returned back into town. It felt like I needed to nag them over and over again to get a response from them because I heard nothing back from them... This wasn't done in days but weeks due to no responses back from the Flavor Run. I was over it. Until I emailed them once again when I returned back into town and received an email right away for my phone number so that they can talk to me about it. I thought about it though but the next day I emailed them back and I realized that I wasn't going to get a refund. Flavor Run just gave excuses from the very beginning. My email back was I'll just let it go because I was just over it. no response back, apologies and they could of asked for my phone number a very long time ago. The only time I received a response was by me pressing the issue. A horrible experience... This is not about me not receiving the items I've ordered or that they just put in anything knowing that they knew the item was damaged but sent it anyway the other item was wrong but sent it anyway... It's about that if I didn't continue to email them They would of just blown me off.... It's about Ethics.... For an organization like the Flavor Run and whom they're supposed to help did an extremely poor job representing themselves... I've wouldn't of taken the time to write this if I didn't think it was important... Just sharing my experience... That's all!!!

From the sunrise fasting awareness silent hikes, lots of awesome fresh paleo food, primal workouts, yoga and more... I just can't say enough good about this! If you're looking for either 1) a springboard to healthy eating and living; or 2) a retreat to forget the day to day grind and push your reset button or 3) if you're craving lots of adventure and figure out just how much your body can do for you; this is the retreat for you! We had every level of fitness represented in our group and we were all challenged to our limit!! As a trainer, Ryan seems to know just where the limit is; regardless of the fitness level and he's got a way of getting the most out of you in a fun and supportive way! AWESOME!!
