I got my estimate within 24 hours ($150 which I think is very fair), paid for them to order the replacement part and waited on the call that the part arrived. Once the part arrived my laptop was fixed within hours (I was expecting at least a week turn around time). My laptop now opens and shuts with no issues and I am very pleased with the work done & customer service I received. Turn around time from estimate to pick up was a week. We recently had a house fire and ERS was dispatched to clean our electronics. I have never had such…read morea bad experience with any company. ERS broke more items than they fixed. They lost more items than they took. They returned my turntable with a broken cartridge and lost power supply due to the fact that they did not pack the item correctly. They did replace the turntable with a significant hum. I mentioned the hum. I brought them the turntable along with some accessories. The turntable was returned to me (packed incorrectly again) and my accessories arrived dead on arrival. I contacted ERS and they claimed there was no hum and did not want to honor their warranty and see that the item was fixed. They wanted nothing to do with the situation. This is not the only issue with ERS cords and power supplies are missing and returned in a unusable fashion. I would be wary of this company. Their only function is to milk your insurance company of every penny they can get from them, while not serving the customer that hired them in a vulnerable state. The flash drive USB side did not work for us on the computer or TV, but the USBC side did. I think their prices are fair, especially if you want to go local instead of shipping your materials to get converted out of city/state. I used legacy box for VHS and I honestly prefer the quicker and easier process of dropping these off and picking them up.
