We stopped off on Sept. 10 so they could see which battery to order and were told that the battery would be there in about 3 business days. After a week of waiting, we called and were told the battery was ordered from Amazon and he checked shipping details, then returned to the phone and said the battery was in Georgia and they should have it soon. Almost two weeks later, we called again. The guy checked and said apparently the order got canceled because the battery was out of stock. Not sure which story is true since he had previously stated that Amazon claimed the shipment was in Georgia and now he said the order was canceled. We requested and received a refund after being told they don't give refunds but my husband insisted on a refund. We waited three weeks for nothing. They could have called and updated us.

Their resolution to the problem was install a new $300 hard drive and another $80. I had purchased one of their guaranteed hard drives 13 months prior. I was able to buy a new faster computer with 3 times larger hard drive than they wanted to sell me for $300. They still took me for $80 and coworker was able to reload windows for $0.00. No new hard drive required!

The owner took my information down gave me a ticket in exchange for my laptop and then I never heard from them again. I visited numerous times waited outside the store called multiple times and never received a response. I was too nice and by the time I should've reported it to the police it was too late. I'm sure they're out of business now. Last time I drove by there was construction around the area.

The bottom line: Les Pell is a liar and a crooked businessman. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HIM! HE IS…read moreNOT TO BE TRUSTED. I brought my computer to Les Pell to have lost data recovered. He gave me an estimate for time and cost, and I agreed and left my computer for him to work on. He had me sign a slip describing the service he was to do, but it did not state the cost or time frame for service. The slip also stated that items not picked up within 7 days of completed service would be SOLD to cover the unpaid bill. I should have known to run at this point. I foolishly signed the thing. Les Pell was supposed to be done with my computer in a week. He wasn't. Every time I called to ask him about his progress on my computer, he would say it would be a few more days. There were also numerous times when he did not answer the phone, and his voicemail would not allow me to leave a message because the voice mailbox was full. After nearly 3 months of this charade, I told Les Pell that I wanted my computer back, and I would take it in its original condition, because I could not justify paying for his "services." He then demanded an amount of money far exceeding my estimate, even though he never recovered the data at all, or he would keep my computer and sell it to someone else. I then filed a complaint through the Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs. They forwarded my complaint to Pell and then sent Pell's response to me. The response Les Pell wrote was full of lies in which he stated he called me and opened on Sunday just for me to pick up my computer. He claimed I was trying to manipulate his prices and take advantage of him the whole time. None of this is true. I was unsuccessful in my attempts to get my computer back, and I was advised that legal action would be a further waste of money. So Les Pell kept my $600 computer and I later learned that he sold it. Please learn from my grave mistake and do not do business there.
