I was aware that oftentimes it may be necessary to go up to the roof and clean the vent or sometimes a screen up there. This service is often priced less than $200. But Duct Brothers wanted $399. Then they told be that my vent on top had a "stuck" flap that needed repair and they could do the "whole job" for $500 ! I subsequently called another company and they came out and took pictures. There is no flap up there at all !!!!! The new company measured the air flow and it was good. Duct Brothers is a fraud! Do not fall for their upselling at preposterous prices.

But referred me to another 3rd party to fix my restaurant freezer. We spoke with their admin and she not only bargained our bill down (I have an email trail), but she also spoke with my husband and zeroed it out. Now, someone named Shawn is harassing my business page by leaving one star, which is completely unrelated to service at my establishment. This is completely against google business standards (it has been reported). Don't offer a free quote and then send people surprise bills when you absolutely didn't fix a single thing. I will definitely hire them from now on and I highly recommend…read more First of all they only charge $49 to come out and assess whereas all other HVAC companies I've contacted and/or hired in the past charge $150-$200 which is obviously gonna suck if it turns out to be a simple fix/operator error like in my case. They were even able to come out the same day. I was an idiot and put the batteries in my thermostat the wrong way, I couldn't see the markings so I tried both directions to no avail, I guess they have the magic touch because they fixed the batteries and got it working right away. The crazy thing is they waved the fee despite coming out and fixing my issue and even more unusual they went into my basement, did an assessment, checked my vents and replaced my filter for free while it was 99 degrees outside. I even insisted they let me pay which they refused. I'm going to need a full replacement soon, I'll be hiring this company for sure. They answered all of my questions with patience and ease. They're super friendly, professional and knowledgeable and were awesome with my dogs (since it was too hot to leave them outside) which I'm sure all dog owners would very greatly appreciate. They also mentioned their most recent visit was with an elderly lady whose A/C unit went out and how they're going above and beyond to help her. I've had several issues with hvac in the past and have had to call several technicians out for quotes and troubleshooting so I can attest that my experiences with this company was not the norm where HVAC companies are concerned but everything a company should strive to be.
