I asked him consistently for four months when he would complete it and he would just keep saying, "I'll get you back on my schedule". It wasn't until I saw I would have to take him to small claims court to get my loss out on the blind was when he said I needed to make the return under conditions of the manufacturer's warranty. He also had the audacity to saw he was troubled when I said that I didn't want to continue the blind work with him after four months of not completing the initial blind. If you search his public record within Ada county or RecentlyBooked, you would understand why completing a simple blind order was impossible for someone with his history. [E] John has replied saying I provided the measurements for the blinds which is why it was made incorrectly, when he was the one who took the measurement himself upon his initial visit... Do not contract services with Repairs Unlimited unless you want to experience blame shifting or working with a business does not have an active permit through the state of Idaho. Please see my photos where I had to ask from December 2025 through April 2026 for the blind to replaced. The response to this Yelp review contradicts the impression of ongoing service that I was expecting. Save yourself the headache and book your contracting work with someone without a public offense record in Ada county.

I messaged Kip on a Friday after hours and he replied quickly. I wanted him to install four ceiling…read morefans in my home. He told me he could do the work on Monday morning. So I went to Lowe's and bought the fans that night. Lowe's wanted $179 for each fan to install. Kip gave me a quote for 560$ which included putting fan boxes in the ceiling and buying those parts. He showed up on time, communicated promptly and effectively and completed the job quickly. I wasn't home for the install; my wife was. What I was most impressed by was Kip's honesty. He told me that when he removed the lights, the builder had already installed fan boxes. I would have never known otherwise if he hadn't been forthcoming with this information. He adjusted the invoice and removed 300$ from the total cost since the fan boxes didn't need to be installed. My total out the door was $260 for four ceiling fans to be installed. That would have cost me $716 if I had elected to have Lowe's do the install. I'm so glad I went to Yelp and found this company. They already had great reviews and that's why I gave them a call. After dealing with Kip it is clearly evident why he has five star reviews. I will go to Kip in the future for any handyman needs. I highly recommend him and his services to others.
